Yes, that is what is the prediction right now because the past records speak so. But, this market is volatile and unpredictable. Do not blindly go with anyone's prediction but, if you really feel so then you invest. Apply your strategy and trust on your analysis.

I think each altcoin has each different season and doesn't have to wait for bitcoin price go high. Just like what happened to Dx Chain lately, the price boosted like 10 times from it's price a month ago which is really crazy in this current market condition. So i took a conclusion that altcoin has each different season, when it's up and it will up.

Yes, but it won't happen all at once. More than likely what's going to happen is people are going to be buying Bitcoin and trading that Bitcoin for alts all during the run up to 20k. So, we'll be seeing prices go up right along with Bitcoin. Not just when Bitcoin hits $20k. The reason for it is that people trade their Bitcoin holdings for other alts. Increase the marketcap of Bitcoin and you increase the crypto marketcap as a whole.

you take decision based on wrong data, if you just take from 1-10 coins, you wont find the correlation between bitcoin and altcoin
we have to see most of altcoin, which can be sample in population

It's possible, but it won't be the same as 2017. Only a few altcoins will follow the bitcoin uptrend. when bitcoin is pumped later, altcoin will slowly rise. but for altcoin shit, I think it will still be dumped, even though the market is bull run. no need to wait until 20K, to see the market bull run. Because before the BTC reached 20k the market had started to run bull, I'm sure of it.

There is correlation in the long term for sure,,, Bitcoin prices in 12 months goes up, so do altcoins, Bitcoin prices in 12 months do down, so do altcoins. The only difference is in the magnitude. Bitcoin x2, altcoins can x20. Not this year though. Bitcoin did x3 and most alts could only do x2.

But on a much smaller timeframe,,, like the past week, altcoins enjoy up when Bitcoin is down. Typical end of year?

I always think of this scenario, the last bull run is still fresh in my mind and I was thinking that if BTC will have a new ATH, altcoins will start to rally and then the FOMO will come so more like the increase will increase more, but then again we need to do the right thing this time if ever this happens because its possible that after the bull run, a long correction might take place again and we will experience a long bear market like what we experience now.

A coin or two going up does not really mean anything, we see that in the market all the time an altcoin season is when a significant number of the altcoins begin to go up in a fast way, so far that is not what we are seeing, the market is not growing and it keeps showing a negative tendency and if the price of bitcoin begins to go down then the possibilities to see an altcoin season during the rest of the year will be very low, personally I already gave up on an altcoin season for this year and I am hoping next year will be the year in which we will see it.

There will be big confusion among the investors on the selection of altcoins. Very few altcoins in the market have shown good growth in price over the days. To what extent this gonna get continued is unpredictable. Previously this kind of of growth happened with Binance coin when the price of bitcoin was found much low than the present price. By that time Binance even marked its ath providing the best return for the investors. Slowly and surely there is more growth incoming over the days when bitcoin begins to cross barriers $10000, $15000 and continue to it's new ath.

There is a direct relationship between BTC and Altcoin prices. Never expect that Altcoin prices will go up when BTC is in red, that's what have seen so far in decade long history of cryptocurrency.

Everything is possible, but in my opinion if BTC would reach 20k USD per coin, altcoins will fall even deeper. When BTC rose from 3 to 10k USD, the dominance only increased and altcoins did not make even x2 science the beginning of 2019.

I think that anytime bitcoin is dominating, altcoins usually fall deeper, but in the case of bull run which is a special case, most altcoins usually respond to the bull run of bitcoin, especially the altcoins that are standing as top coins on exchanges, but the time that altcoins will surge in value is when bitcoin is on consolidation, which is when bitcoin has started its bull run, and probably decide to take a break for a while which is usually the consolidation period, and it is at this point that all these altcoins that you see start to rise in value, including the altcoins that looks dead already or the ones that are not functioning well again. So if bitcoin reaches that 20k, there is every possibility that bitcoin will go sideways and altcoins will start rising in value again.

Bitcoin dominance is now very high this year and in complete control of this market. I think if the dominance can drop to 40% to 50% then altcoin will have a chance to rise higher but maybe will wait a while longer because the demand for altcoin investment is still very low and Many investors still fear when investing. As I know, this market is heavily dependent on the volatility of Bitcoin so if this coin cannot rise then there will not be many opportunities for altcoin.

Of course no one knows what will happen next so don't lose faith in this market and I believe that 2020 will be a very important time for all coins.

I totally agree on this statement, cause BTC can stand alone unlike ALTS, alts still depend on BTC I mean like all of them so basically, having a lot of altcoins will give a lot of options to traders and investors, yes, it is good though it will still affect the market, what I would like to see is balanced between them though it is really hard to gain that kind of momentum.

in this case, we can't seem to depend on the price of bitcoin. we also need growth from altcoin to see prices go crazy again. but, I'm pretty sure, when the price of bitcoin goes up, the price of altcoin won't stand still, and I believe that altcoin will also be affected by bitcoin.
this has two possibilities, if bitcoin has an even greater dominant as it did this year, the altcoin will be increasingly dim, or altcoin will offset for bitcoin in the dominant case, and has a high price.
