I'm getting a cgminer error if the leaser's pool is dead:
"No servers could be used! Exiting."
cgminer then shuts down.
Should it not revert to my pool if the leaser hasn't configured a secondary pool?
I have run into this problem multiple times, and I have had to add my own pool as back-up for those renters that aren't smart enough to add a back-up pool, of course I inform them ahead of time by e-mail I am doing this, and for them to add their own back-up pool and subsequently remove mine.. Ok thanks. This also messes up my rig stats. It would be nice to auto revert to my pool.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

djeZo, we really, really need logging on the LeaseRig proxy and pools. It's currently impossible to know if there were rig issues or issues with the pools. In the "Old Days" we could consult our own logs to see what pools were active and what kind of issues were happening with those pools. Now, it's all hidden behind the proxy, which is great, but that lack of transparency means we cannot analyze post mortem issues. So, when there are problems, all we can do is bite our tongues and refund our renters... even if our renters failed to set a failover pool and our cgminers choked due to no available pools.
Please let us know if there is any way to log output to a file with built-in Windows and Linux utilities (I run on both OS's.) Also, please consider forcing one of our default pools as the secondary if the renter doesn't set one.
Thank you, - Bitlynx

You can use stdout redirection to log all console output to file. Use '>'.

For linux I started piping it into "logger", it dumps all the output into the syslog so it gets rotated regularly. The only imperfection is LRP uses buffered output when not printing to a console, so if you tail the log to see what's happening you have to wait a while for the next chunk of lines to show up all at once.

I tried this on Windows 7 and LRP just hung, the log file got created, but nothing was in it. Does this work for you in Windows, and if so, does LRP still show output on the screen while it's getting logged or does it only get dumped to the log file so you have to view the log file to see what's going on?

After some update you made a few hours ago, my hashhate is showing 3300mh/s instead of 4,8 MH/s (real). I AM using the new proxy as you requested.

will "load balanced" instead of "fallover" multipool strategy be an option at some point in the future?

When not mining for leaserig, setting pool management mode is just a matter of pushing 2 buttons. I quess that mining for leaserig changes nothing, so you just have to PM the owner. So far, no customer have asked me for it. :-)
