This is the reality nowadays, but I don't know if you agree or not.
As what I have observed since last year, lots of ICO investors are more excited and making some noise when a crypto startup announced that they will be listed in some exchanges.
I have browsed a lot of Telegram groups coming from various ICOs, IEOs and other forms of token sales. When they announce their partnership with a "XXX" company or they have launched their v2.0 of their product, it seems that the community are kind of less impressed and not excited about that.
Last year, there's an ICO where until now, they haven't listed in an exchange as they focused more on product development. It's like almost 2 years and they haven't listed their token yet in exchanges but they only give us a quarterly report on what they're doing with the product. It results for most investors to become impatient and demand their money back or getting listed to exchanges at least.
This is what I've been observing for now, the behavior of most investors who are expecting their returns or gains after the ICO is complete. What do you say guys? Agree with this or not?

Well if they raise enough fund why not listing it in exchange ? I mean there is no sense for the update if the coin/tokens is not tradeable it will not create hype .they are just telling what they are doing and doesnt help the community and investors , besides we dont know if that project is really willing to list it . Other reasons is investors want to convert what they have invested any time they like .If you cant sell the coin/token you are just holding a coin/token that you dont know if there is a real value.

This kind of behavior makes these aspiring companies that makes their new product hopeless. The impatience of some, who does not believe in the product, but rather just wants to get it immediately listed on exchanges, hurts the userbase of the product and would be the cause of their fall. I agree to your stand and only if people really pay attention to the efforts to make their platform secure and better, and having some patience up their sleeves, then they may get a solid product that would guarantee them some profit/returns.

most investors are no longer interested in ICO, because many projects that ultimately disappoint and even fail, I participated in several projects that looked good in the future, but the fact is that everything doesn't match reality, most ICO tokens are worthless, even the value is far below the ICO price.

Absolutely right. The majority consider investment in IEO/ICO as a fast money making mechanism. When something goes wrong, the "ban" process starts. That is why there is a great need for IEOs in bigger exchanges such as Binance. Binance is one of the most important mechanisms of this system. Product and targets are no longer important factors. The important thing is that in which exchange IEO will be.

In fact, it often happens that some of their ICO projects always postpone the launch of their tokens on the exchange, I often even see the team saying they will soon enter the market in the next few weeks, but it is true that this is nonsense until this project takes investors' money away. Investors now know better which ones will be invested in the future, no longer choose ICO because it is considered a scamer if there are projects holding ICO.

That is true. It is because ICO investors are treating ICOs as investment opportunities rather than projects that they will truly support. Although they are also making reviews and researches on the projects and their potentials, they do not have any plan to really make use of the products that the projects will release soon. They are only expecting that when these projects will reach the success that they are pursuing the prices of their coins or tokens will also gain price. And they will make profit.

Basically, all they want is quick profit and don't care about the product though ideally, they should be as their investment will be nothing. most investors are no longer interested in ICO,
I would agree and investors are smart enough to identify the potential projects. While some will just buy after the crowdsale as it surely be gonna one hell dump.

It's develops mistake and not a mistake from investors because developers showcases a different raodmap at the time of pooling in the investors and later when they say they are more focused on product development it does not make any sense and shows the incapability on developers to stick to their words and moreover it doesn't make a difference to list the token just including the further development concept in white paper and website as no altcoin isb100% at the time of listing. I don't agree with my this post.

The only thing most investors are worried about is the exchange listing not about the product development. It's a 2 ways analysis and you can't blame investors for that. Most of the projects, tends to kill the products even before listing on exchange. A blockchain project is to solve problems according to what the whitepaper presents, sadly a lot of these projects doesn't even make up for what the product is all about. I wouldn't blame investors who cares about exchange than product developments.

I agree with this because I have personally experienced it. The investors are looking for a simple and quick profit without bothering what the company wants to do and what they are going to achieve for the future, a project that gives their investor hype and exchange news made more noise compared to a project that gives their investor a working product and partnership. Investors do not care about it because they think cryptocurrency is only created for a short time and intended to double their money as soon as possible. This is the latest of our investors mindset, they care about getting rich overnight without understanding the process.

those aren't "investors" that you are talking about. it seems like you are talking about the "owners" or in other words the "creators" of the ICO. and it is apparent that they don't want their token to be dumped to oblivion and the only thing that they cared about was receiving the money they raised through their ICO scam. which is why they no longer do any meaningful work apart from making false promises and fake news.

You cannot blame investors because in the past year reaching the exchange for new project is the best that most projects can do because lots of good projects have failed because of lack of investors on their project its because trust on ICOs or IEOs decrease a lot.

ico scam is not only detrimental to investors, but we as bounty participants are also affected, I think the cryptocurrency world today needs an independent organization to regulate the implementation of ico or ieo regulations instead, as does the SEC organization in America, so that the way will be able to minimize the occurrence of fraudulent projects Moreover, we know that the velocity of money in cryptocurrency is quite large so that it makes many people tempted to commit a fraud.

Agreed, and i think that this is the reason why people are into IEOs, so they can flip their investment instantly. And somehow if the price dumps, they want another exchange, as like that would fix anything. People want quantity of exchanges instead quality of the project.

that's why we need to be smart enough in development of the product it will be better if the team will already have a support from known companies before they conduct ICO so it will have sure success even less investor participate since once they listed and their product is developing and seem to have a good progress, investors will definitely start investing.

They are interested in exchange listing because they are afraid the market will be dumped before they can sell the tokens. It happened with many projects before, when the investors were participating in the ICO, the market was in a bull. After the ICO ended the investors needed to wait for several months before the project listed on the exchange. The market constantly changing every day and after several months, the market turned into bear causing the investors to lose some of their capital because of the dump.

Investor of ICO coin are happy if hear announce from ICO team to list coin on new exchange market, volume transaction of ICO coin will increase more than 50% and price can be up, but depend which one exchange listing for ICO coin, if shit exchange market like idex or hotbit maybe less investor are happy and they will waiting with big exchange for listing like Binance and Kucoin or bittrex.

I agree, and if we talk aboit ICO's they are more popular last 2017 but as tine goes by we know that early investors profited from it. Afterwards newly projects came out in the market the tendency is the old ICO projects will have less interest and the money will go into the new tokens or coins. Another reason was the partnership thingy. It is not that too big play or big news as partnership are very common nowadays. Time is changing so the people's interest as well.

As it is difficult to get support from large companies, the project now only relies on the products they run with products that are hard to believe by investors, ICO sales are less interested because of the many scamers that occur, not because of support from exchanges or companies.
