I can't blame the casino for a mistake you made three times in a row, and I don't understand how you could have made the same mistake again. However, I can't find any explanation for why Roobet wouldn't refund, especially now that the Tron network is supported and funds can be accessed through the automated system, despite the fact that this was possible manually even without the supported network.

On the other hand, a whale player who is wagering millions of dollars is supposed to be taken into account. Why would I, as a casino, lose a loyal player willing to deposit millions just to receive a small amount that he accidentally sent? Honestly, I no longer see the logic behind all these practices that are supposed to stem from professionalism and experience in the field.

I observed your BC.Game case and it definitely seemed like they screwed you, but this case is totally different and odd. I get that it's your mistake this time around, but I don't get why Roobet isn't willing to help you out.

Because they couldn't care less about me or any other player. Even when I explained them urgency of getting these funds credited considering situation I have with my family member, they just couldn't care less, but rather pocket this money for themselves...

I suspect you were no longer a loyal user of the platform after your deposits were lost, so the large amounts you had previously deposited were disregarded, and your complaints were handled according to the terms of service without regard to any other considerations.

Also, it's undeniable that they were somewhat understanding, as they allowed you to get refund of your first deposit on the basis that it was an error. Were you able to withdraw it in full? Didn't they apply the minimum wagering rule before being able to withdraw? Please provide us with the rest of the details.

I wasn't able to withdraw at all. My Roobet account only had one withdrawal in total, and that was $16 (yes, no zeros) in order to collect some funds for the situation I am currently in (my son's surgery).

I don't blame them for the mistake I made, but I am trying to get a common sense from them to credit the funds they claim they don't have access to, yet they do (as seen above).

If I mistakenly sent funds to some non-existent wallet or made a typo, their response would've been fairly accepted, but I sent the money to right wallet/contract address, but to an unsupported currency at a time. Now that they support and from what we've seen, have access to the funds, I don't think them not willing to credit funds is ethically/morally correct.

The funds you sent by mistake were initially sent to an address whose private key is held only by Roobet itself. It's not true that they don't have access to these assets, but rather that the system doesn't support the network and therefore cannot handle the issue automatically. Even after Tron network was implemented, handling your issue still requires manual intervention because the system is also not configured to handle funds deposited before Tron support was enabled. Note in the email that they mentioned refunding your initial deposit from their own pocket.

You should also be aware that manual intervention will require assigning an additional task to someone from the finance department, who will incur an additional fee that will be deducted from the refund amount. The $6,000 may have been deemed insufficient to cover the cost of a manual refund, and they are not obligated to do so under the terms of service you agreed to during the registration process.

Just move on and forget about the money and try never to do the same mistake again. Some lessons cost more than expected.

It's very nice to know that your issue got resolved. I sort of had a feeling that they would credit your account at some point if you continued engaging with them. I just did know that it would be this quick ever since they added support for the new chain.

Every casino has their area of focus, not sure your the first to make such a complain but calling Roobet a scam is a very big accusations, I'm not saying it not possible as I'm not a representative of the casino but if you think for sure that it's a scam then you should make an official thread to make complains about it in the scam and accusation board then it could be treated better.

Every casino has their area of focus, not sure your the first to make such a complain but calling Roobet a scam is a very big accusations, I'm not saying it not possible as I'm not a representative of the casino but if you think for sure that it's a scam then you should make an official thread to make complains about it in the scam and accusation board then it could be treated better.

This is my most considered interest in casinos, there is this casino that I have about $20 stuck in it because they couldn't allow mean withdrawal my win saying its not enough. I hate such a thing in a casino and this is going to make me consider Roobet hence forth.

Great to hear this sort of stuff since casinos usually don't really solve these cases in the customers favor and this has essentially increased my respect for this site. Just goes to show that they didn't let their popularity get to their head.

So many other crypto gambling sites can learn from this particular case and improve accordingly.

An update:

It appears they have successfully moved funds to their main wallet 2 days ago, yet I am still not being credited, and they keep saying "these funds are lost".

I can't blame the casino for a mistake you made three times in a row, and I don't understand how you could have made the same mistake again. However, I can't find any explanation for why Roobet wouldn't refund, especially now that the Tron network is supported and funds can be accessed through the automated system, despite the fact that this was possible manually even without the supported network.
Maybe because if they frequently forgive mistakes of users, they'll face mistakes from them regularly and it will turn into a mess for them. To my mind, in such a case, it's better to block users from depositing in this specific network than not to refund them when you have access to that network.

On the other hand, a whale player who is wagering millions of dollars is supposed to be taken into account. Why would I, as a casino, lose a loyal player willing to deposit millions just to receive a small amount that he accidentally sent? Honestly, I no longer see the logic behind all these practices that are supposed to stem from professionalism and experience in the field.
You might not believe but employees do not care much about the company. They are hired people who want to finish their job at 5 PM and get home ASAP. Company owners do not care much too, they generate good profit anyway and spend life nicely, so they do not get into too many details and employees hide this from them. This is why business owners should closely monitor operations in their company.

How do you block a user from depositing in a certain network if they are going to copy an Ethereum address and the deposit USDT on Optimism, of which Optimism network may not yet be supported but the ETH address is compatible with that of Optimism.

My point is people will still make mistakes whether there are blocks or even warnings.

My point is people will still make mistakes whether there are blocks or even warnings.

Like rollbit doing asking for 200$ for wrong network depo. Happened to me on a 170$ on arbitrum network but it didn't worth to pay 200$ to get 170$ so I just give up. So there's lot of ways such:
- rollbit one
or
- if kyc is done on that account to have at least 1 time the possibility to a refund
or
- minimum deposit amount

so there's quite a lot of solutions atleast if they don't want to keep for them that funds  Grin Grin Grin .
