Since the Lazarus group are moving around Bitcoins (I am pretty sure they are using Privacy coins like monero too) why haven't they sanctioned or banned Bitcoin yet?

Bitcoin cannot be banned, while Solana and Ethereum could be banned. Solana and Ethereum are more like technological centralized companies, and governments can ban them if they want. I think it's important to understand this

Of course, I also support such interesting events as art competitions. 
These events definitely create for any business, including casinos, an excellent positive image among players and those people who simply learn about such competitions.  And although there are of course questions about the quality of judging, as well as other organizational issues, they are still art competitions, these are definitely interesting events and they benefit the entire community of gambling players and also the community of creative people, professional artists, designers and even sometimes painters  - amateurs and other creative people.

why stop?
it's part of their marketing strategy and if they keep on doing it it's probably because they see value and return or it, or are gratefull for the bitcointalk community but I think it is more the former.
we have no idea about their total marketing budget, this is probably a really minor part

I do not understand your position on how you concluded that there is no benefit from the competitions they conduct and that they must stop doing so and look for alternative marketing plans, even though these campaigns have been held for years and huge budgets are allocated to them, which confirms their effectiveness. As far as I know, Roobet does not conduct any marketing campaigns outside the forum, and all (or most) of its strategy depends on the bitcointalk community. I agree with you in suggesting that they can diversify advertising plans, but not by changing a successful one.

I don't know where you got the idea that this contest from roobet.com is not profitable. My response is that it can be profitable or it may not be. I'm not saying this just because I'm always one of the participants in this contest. I believe it's profitable because why else would this contest have still running for more than three years (if I'm not mistaken)? If it weren't for this contest I probably wouldn't still be playing on roobet.com.

That contest makes Roobet still known here in the forum and it’s a big help aside from their signature campaign and I agree that if its not profitable or beneficial for Roobet, then they should’ve stop it. Roobet art contest is the long running art contest in the forum with a different theme every Month, I believe Roobet team values the work of the participants and they put extra effort and budget for this.
