ROOBET LOCKED $360,000 OF MY FUNDS UNDER “RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING”
I want to share my experience with
Roobet because I genuinely believe the way this situation was handled was
unfair, predatory, and unacceptable.

BACKGROUNDI’m not a new player. I was a
verified VIP user with a dedicated host and a long history on the platform.
A week ago, I made a
6-figure deposit to place a sports bet. The bet won, and my balance reached approximately
$400,000.
When I attempted to withdraw my funds, my withdrawal function was suddenly disabled.
At that point, I expected a normal review process. If Roobet needed to investigate something, fine:
• Freeze betting
• Freeze deposits
• Review the account
• Resolve the issue
Instead,
Roobet blocked my withdrawals while still allowing me to gamble.--------------------------------------------------
WHAT HAPPENED NEXTAs time passed and I received little clarity from support, I made bad decisions and continued gambling.
I was placing blackjack hands between
$50,000 and $100,000 trying to cope with the situation and frustration.
I ended up losing around
$40,000 and stopped with approximately
$360,000 remaining.
During conversations with support, I sent the following message:
“I am doing 50k and 100k blackjack hands because of my gambling addiction and blocked withdrawals.”

WHY THIS APPEARS TO BREACH CURACAO RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING STANDARDSCuraçao’s regulator has repeatedly stated that responsible gambling rules are meant to
protect vulnerable players and ensure operators act in a
fair and transparent manner.
The Curaçao Gaming Authority also states that:
“Operators are required to train their staff to identify and handle problem gambling cases.”
In addition, Curaçao’s updated complaint framework specifically prioritizes:
“Complaints related to responsible gaming”
with fast resolution requirements.
The issue here is obvious:
If Roobet genuinely believed I was experiencing gambling harm, why was I still allowed to place $50,000–$100,000 blackjack hands after withdrawals were disabled?Blocking withdrawals while still allowing unlimited gambling directly contradicts the idea of player protection.
Responsible gambling measures are supposed to:
• protect balances
• reduce gambling harm
• intervene early
• prevent escalation
Instead, the platform allowed continued gambling until substantial losses occurred.

THE MAIN ISSUEInstead of protecting my remaining balance or resolving the withdrawal issue,
Roobet used my own message against me.They banned my account and locked the remaining
$360,000 under the justification of “
Responsible Gambling.”
Since then, I have received:
• No proper explanation
• No timeline
• No resolution regarding my funds
