One question, How could I calculate my mining profitability let say if I'm mining monero.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Ryo and FireIce;  Thanks for keeping this release 0% devfee.... it has kept me from having to compile it in a selfish kind of way =P

But seriously;  Thanks.  The community needs more ofthis.   This type of thing has been gone since ~2015-2016.

Any compares, checks for that miner with others?
On a very light note, compare it with Xmrig they have 1% dev fee and xmr-stak-rx is fully free, and performance is the same on both.

I appreciate your efforts in providing us a good mining software like XMR-STAK-RX for free. I'm currently mining Loki (Randomx) and it is working really good, I'm getting far better results with XMR-STAK-RX as compare to other mining software.
Keep up the good work.
Haha, how can you get better results if this miner's RandomX code is a direct rip off from XMRig? It can at best give the same hashrate.
I'm mining Loki with it, also I've tried mixing it with Xmrig hashrate is almost the same on both but why should I need to give 1% to devs when I've something free like xmr-stak-rx?

Is it 100% free, I mean there must be some hidden fees? XMrig has 1% but it is actually 2%. So wanna confirm if it is not the same as these fees.
it has no fees. Source code is open, anyone can verify it.
Also main topic with miner updates is here so feel free to follow miner updates there

0% dev fee is good, is it also better in performance as compared to Xmrig?

Have tried it for a while, the best thing about xmr-stak-rx is, miner don't have to mess with command lines and it is absolutely free. Good work.

You can compare it with Xmrig which has 1% dev fee and when it comes to performance xmr-stak-rx is bit better than that in speed and efficiency and the best thing it is fully free there is no 1% dev fee and you don't have to mess with command lines if you mine with xmr-stak-rx.

I'm still mining Monero on my computers, with xmr-stak-rx. It is free and doesn't have any dev fee as other miners. If miners doesn't want to mess with command lines then xmr-stak-rx is the best choice.

Is it possible to mine monero with GPUs by using this miner (xmr-stak-rx)?

technically yes - it supports gpu mining. But this (randomx) algo is worthless on GPUs. Check Cryptonight-GPU algo that was designed for it - it is better and more fair.

not much, when you start the miner, it will ask few questions (pool, coin and wallet address) and generates all configs after the first start. If you wish - you can tweak some parameters in them, anyway

Might be difficult to confirm as one could implement a dev fee using the same pool as yours and hide it.
Honestly, the best way is to compare two rigs revenue over a few days.

Does anybody know how to mine solo against Monero wallet , on the command line using XMR-STAK-RX or XMRig please?
Monero.conf <- not sure what to put in this file.

I would like to mine outside of the wallet because the wallet is not as fast as XMRig or XMR-STAK-RX as im sure many know.

Only XMRig can do this. And you mine solo against Monero node, not wallet. You just need to set
Code:
"daemon":true,
and
Code:
"url":"your_node_ip:18081",
in config.json

HI and thank you for your reply,
I have run my wallet and it is completely synched now, it only took 5 days to do, really crazy.
Anyways so i know for example, when I used to mine Bitsend or Chainlink you would run the wallet and synch the blockchain fully, and then you would find inside %appdata% normally the folder pertaning to the coin and then a chainlink.conf or bitsend.conf... u would have the general settings in there like:

rpcuser=chainuser
rpcpassword=chainpass
rpcallowip=192.168.1.2
bind=127.0.0.1
rpcport=19711
rpcconect=192.168.1.2

server=1
listen=1
daemon=1

Anyways now i am stuck with what you gave told me -: I have also done a file search for "config.json" but i do not see this file in relation to Monero or Bitmonero.

I can see:
========
C:\ProgramData\bitmonero\lmdb>dir

 Directory of C:\ProgramData\bitmonero\lmdb

22/01/2020  02:18 pm    <DIR>          .
