Have been mining for like 4-5 hours and still 0 coins. What the hecks going on?  Angry
Ask your pool operator whats going on, recent block finders: sumpool, multi-pool, leet pool

Okay. Why did the price of XSV took a dive?It was 0.1BTC now its at 0.001,why?

Maybe because the initial buys were just shills?

You are exactly correct.  The initial buy at .1 was for 0.05002060.  Just another part of this pump and dump scam.

Jumping of diff seems the main issue.
There is one pool who's hashrate is above 51% of net hash rate.
That's a danger for this coin! Requesting Coin Dev. to announce it miners to spread hash rate across pools.

Some miners DDOS pools, talk bad on thread about a coin, and dump some of their coins to scare other miners away in hopes of bring down the difficulty and mining more themselves. So far it hasn't worked as Network hashrate is increasing day by day. That being said the coin has only been active on trade sites for 24 hours or so. Give it a week or two. here:

In addition we are not yet listed on coinmarketcap and this thread is only a few days old. Give it some time everything will stabilize.
Our mail drops will raise media interest. Expect to see a few media reports about us after the first few mail drops and word gets out.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have not only read in this thread but on this entire forum. You actually think miners are the ones DDOS'ing the pools? You crack me up. Thank you for that.

What a pathetic cluster fuck.  I think that most miners have wasted so much time that they can't bring themselves to the realization that this scam coin is a complete fail.

Spread your hashrate! We are working with the pool that had 40%-45% of network hashrate, they have since closed their registration. We now need some miners to jump into other pools

Hey Dev,
Are you Manuel Gonzalez of Galt, CA?
http://whois.domaintools.com/siliconvalleycoin.com
http://www.wysk.com/index/california/galt/pnkuj7m/affiliate-cash-pile-llc/officers

If not, what is their affiliation with this XSV project?

I would like to know because I see that they have several domain names and that the Affiliate Cash Pile info (love the name) was just made anonymous at the DNS registrar about an hour ago:

We are over 10 hours and 42 blocks further (122 => 164) which means 4 blocks per hour finding rate (15 min avg per block iso 8 min).
This is the same problem (twice the time as designed) that I see with other coins using a fast re-targeting of their diff.
What is the algo used for this coin? KGW?
