I want to know the difference between this currency with Spain, Aurora, Poland, Cyprus, if there is no difference, 50% of all pre, then I think it's a gimmick, I do not think there are too many people to pay
The biggest difference is that Silicon Valley Coin is NOT attempting to replace a national currency.
XSV will NOT be given to people who are in need of financial assistance (this will cause a massive dump, and does not benefit our community).
Our coins WILL be given to the wealthiest individuals around the big tech companies of the Silicon Valley.
Silicon Valley Coin WILL bring new innovation to our industry.
XSV WILL introduce over 150,000 wealth individuals to our industry. The list goes on and on, we are in no way similar to any country coin. Please see our site http://siliconvalleycoin.com for more information. You know that wealthy people at Silliconvalley doesnt care about this coin.Maybe just for showoff nothing financial.

Almost all coins market cap is dropping , BTC's market cap is less than 50% of what it was. http://blockchain.info/charts/market-capWriting is on the wall, crypto is going to die, and resurrect with a new 2nd generation of coins, BTC market cap will go under 2,000,000,000 within the next few months, with no new $$$ coming into crypto the only coins that will survive are the ones that have legit use, and mining them will not be very profitable.... Crypto is not user friendly enough for the masses to adopt it, so it will continue to decline.

Thankfully we have this coin to "introduce them to the simplicity of buying, selling and trading coins". I'm just hoping that Zuckerberg's housekeeper (or whoever gets his mail for him) is smart enough to pass this voucher on to him when it comes so that he can find out about this whole crypto currency thingy. Surely once he finds out about this coin he will convert all his stocks!

Coin is on the rise If you are looking at bittrex, that was me... I've allowed myself one last flurry before I swear off all country/region coins... At least, if you're not on Cryptsy, then I don't want to know EDIT: Not all the recent trades were mine, but at this stage, it's hard to know if someone with a lot of coins is selling to themselves to make it *look* like there is more activity than there is

I noticed some activity on poloniex while watching MYR, which caught my eye. I've bought some over on bittrex, as there was a bit more volume, but even so, it's tight on both bittrex and poloniex.
It seems to be a few people snapping up decent amounts. Has pre-pump written all over it. I didn't even know what the coin was, before seeing it move and then coming here to read up on it. But I think some people 'in the know' are getting their fill before it's pumped. And it won't take much to pump it, there's no volume.
Obviously do your own research and everything and I'm not going to push the point - I just saw the activity and figured I'd share my opinion. I bought about .5 BTC worth, just in case. Maybe I'm wrong, but maybe not. Seems like a good punt.

Source Pair Volume (24h) Price Volume (%) Bittrex XSV/BTC $ 1,125 $ 0.23 80.69 % Poloniex XSV/BTC $ 260 $ 0.30 18.69 % Atomic Trade XSV/BTC $ 9 $ 0.42 0.63 % Total/Avg $ 1,394 $ 0.25
It's easy to manipulate the price when there is only $1,394 volume in 24hrs
I could easily drop the price on this to nothing with less than .2 btc.
This was a Scam from the beginning.

The rise is price is steady. The coin has no markers of a scam as the airdrop commences in days. With a recovery in btc to usd650-700 I will be expecting XSV to peak around 0.01btc

That would make sense, I left behind a small buy order at around .0002 if it doesn't get quiet enough for miner's to sell at that price I'll be back to buy some more
