Why Consider All Altcoins Bad

Many will say altcoins are bad and yes they are because we have too many bad altcoins in crypto space and people keep falling for them, altcoins always bring the biggest ROI but that is if the project is very promising enough

I disagree. I think this is wrong, maybe those people misstated the meaning maybe erc20 token but they categorized it as altcoin even though it was clearly different. the fact that many cause problems and scams today is the project from erc20 tokens not from altcoin. precisely altcoin which has survived for a long time and still survives until now many are legit. different from the erc20 token project, profitable because of the hype at the beginning of the investment only, after that lost its volume and value (got dump sell).

It is clear that not all altcoins are bad. They just have such a reputation because most of them turned out to be scammers. But it is impossible to speak so categorically, interesting projects still continue to appear.

Most of them are made to deceive people and take advantage of them that is why I can't also blame those people for thinking that way because they have bad experiences that makes them hard to trust and keep their faith in altcoins again but we don't have to generalize it. Some of them are still worth the risk and beneficial, we just need to find out which one. It's a bit difficult these days because of scam issues but as long as you know the things that you need to do to find out which is the best one then it's a great advantage for you. They can't just expect people to keep on trusting it despite of scams regarding it because most of them becomes a victim too and I know that it is kind of hard for them to change their perception because of what they have experience.

The question is why do some people generalize all Altcoins as bad? considering there are over 3000 of them out there. One would not have the time to go through each project one by one. to analyze the project. team etc everything behind each crypto project.
There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

No one has ever said ALL ALTCOINS are bad; no, anyone saying this is wrong. Isn't Ethereum an altcoin, isn't Stellar Lumens an altcoin too, even Binance Coin, aren't they among the top coins in the Coinmarketcap and proving to bring value as well.
I think what people might be trying to say is, a huge number of altcoins are bad, and if you visit most telegram groups you will see the truth even on exchanges, the truth is there for all to see. There are existing projects still standing strong and a few upcoming projects also trying to create a positive impact.

not all altcoins have a future like that, fewer potential altcoins, and we can analyze it before investing, because wrong investing in altcoin can result in your capital being depleted. but if you are good at choosing altcoin it will get a satisfactory return

I don't consider all altcoins as bad, only majority of these altcoins are bad, and people perceived that way, because of the so many scam reports, so many millions of dollar wasted and the list is quite long and many more adding to the list, there is huge money to be made in the Cryptocurrency, but unfortunately these scammers wants to have a big slice of the cake.

This is because the majority of altcoins are shit at the moment. Out of over 3000, maybe only a few like 20 or so altcoins really make any headway in terms of staying true to their project plans.

That's right, it's been almost two years that a lot of projects have given birth to unlucky altcoin, thus affecting the confidence of the cryptocurrency world in the eyes of investors, and that too has also affected the success of many crypto projects.

In investment like this, i think we should really confident with what we already choose. About what people said, especially when they said that all altcoins are bad, is only personal opinion and almost like speculation that other people can do and we must know we can do research with ourself and then make decision from it. Maybe listen other is good but not means we follow it.

But in my understanding they are saying this because the altcoin market is down and it has not fully recovered since 2017. And you are right not all altcoins are bad to invest becsuse there are other alts that have the potential to rise in price especially when the altcoin season is back. But I can say that many alts die and these are useless coins without (use cases, project idea and unique product)

Indeed, those who said altcoins are bad are those who failed and loss in trading. This is why we have to evaluate the project that we have plan to invest from the first place. In order for us not to lose money invest in what we can afford to lose.

not at all, i don't consider all altcoins to be bad because even though we know there are many scam projects out there but not all altcoins projects are scam projects, bad projects are not necessarily scam because maybe there is a lack of interest in their products so they are indeed difficult to get investors due to lack of demand in the market. so i don't think we need to assume all altcoins are bad

There are so many altcoins created every week or every month I see new announcement/bounty thread here on bitcointalk. I cannot blame some people saying all altcoins is bad because in majority maybe in a count of 10 only 1 is good. Bitcoin alone is lonely, Altcoins gives colors to the blockchain world and it is designed to a specific need or use cases. Bitcoin cannot perform smart-contract, dapps. etc.

If some people say all altcoins are bad, why is ETH still existing for years now? Yes, most people live Bitcoin as it is the king and has proven to be over time, but there is still issues which other altcoins can help in solving thus the reason a coin like Eth is still active. Anyone saying such, is wrong shouldn't be listened to, nevertheless we have to be careful of these new altcoins coming out in their numbers, if they are 100 only less then 5 is legit.

The majority of the altcoin that is available on the market is not progressing well that's why people think there are no good or reliable altcoins these days. A lot of investors suffer huge losses with altcoins so we can't blame them if they are thinking negative about the altcoin market.

as far as I know investors only look bad at the shit token project not on altcoin ,yeah I think not all altcoin is bad even what looks bad in people's eyes is not necessarily real bad and there still a lot of investor interest on a large scale for altcoin which maybe not all be focused invest on top capitalization only

You did not do enough research to tell us that all altcoins are bad Ethereum, Eos ,Binance coin are all altcoins and yet they are performing great in the market, your title should be majority or most and not all, because if that is the case, Bitcoin is the only coin that is good when there are coins that are as good as Bitcoin, and the market can prove that.
