The results after 10/15 matches played:



mitchr4, Inagame, GbitG and me lead the pack, but looks like there are just some fame points to grab this week. rdbase with a nightmare of a MM, but we are all not doing very well tbh looking at the average. Looking at the SB leaderboard, we can all enjoy a relaxed Sunday without nail biting at least

Also I want to mention the amount of upsets that happened today is unbelievable (mostly between teams in the upper ranks).

Not sure, if you meant the results in general in football today or the MM results, because I actually don't think there were that many upsets and the two leaders now must have picked the favs mainly.

Wolves/Fulham/Betis/Valencia/Dortmund/Stuttgart were fav, not all huge favs, but makes it 6 already.
Gladbach lost being big fav and Elche won as home dog ~@4.
And then you have those two X's between two poor teams each, where in FRA1 you often have low-scoring games (X more likely) and Burnley/WBA scoring less than 1 goal on average.

So as so often, it looks easy afterwards, but hard to get it right. And SB is selecting way more close games nowadays than in the past, where really no one can tell how this will end - not even the players themselves, so how should we know That is also the reason, why I think that the 1.5BTC will not be won in the foreseeable future.

Good luck everyone I have been out early this season's match is very unpredictable lots of surprises in all leagues including the defeat of strong teams
I only got 6 wins 4 loses with 5 games remaining seems hopeless to me

This is massacre for my picks guys, and I am lucky that there is rdbase with his picks so I am not yet the worst from the rest of the gang, and tyKiwanuka got his wish fulfilled and he is doing very well with his other picks.
I watched Wolves vs Leeds and Burnley vs VBA and I must say that Wolves deserved to win, and VBA actually played better with ten man because of red card that freaking Burnley.

Yeah I only got one right and was out even before the later matches started.
I just switched off and didn't bother to watch the rest of the games after I seen I didn't get any of my draws right.
And once you see that happen, you know it is over.

Looks like you got your wish afterall.
After Getafe missing the penalty shot at 75' I thought it was smooth sailing for a draw but then Real B. getting a red card near the end of the match sealed it for them to lose cause Getafe scored at the 84' with them not coming back from that.

I think you are confused up with that match. It was Real Betis who missed the penalty (taken by Canales) and it was Real Betis was who won the match after scoring the only goal from penalty taken in 85th min. I also thought it was going towards draw after Fekir got injured and penalty was missed.

I was watching the Wolves match and couldn't believe Leeds luck with Bamford's goal being disallowed early on in the second half.
When you see calls like this with their index finger being called for the offside, you know that team's chances of going on to win the rest of the match is highly against them.

That was a very difficult match to predict. I took Leeds as they have good attack but they were struggling to find any kind of good chances. They were very good from set pieces but Patricio was great that day and he pulled some great saves and kept clean sheet. Wolves were lucky with their goals and Leeds were unlucky with their attempts but both were good.

Actually, I made a typo in the Cologne vs Stuttgart match. In that match I took Stuttgart to win, I'm sorry for that.

Good finish by a lot of guys today and Inagame and GbitG win our forum competition. 10 correct picks is a pretty solid result, but the overall winners will have 12 I guess.

Im aiming for atleast 8 correct picks this week

So I guess mission accomplished for me. Look at how inconsistent my overall performance and following the pattern on the table, I probably will be one of the worst for two straight weeks before getting back on the top again

Its rare occasion that we have almost consensus pick on Manchester United to win . Normally around 30 % would spread between draw or Newcastle to win. Hey @buwaytress put some faith on Manchester United  . Newcastle is not going to win against United definitely not in Old Trafford

Torino vs Sassuolo match is postponed because seven Torino players tested positive for covid and this match should be played on March 17.
There is still time for Sportsbet and Steve to change it and add new match instead.
I will wait to see if Sportsbet make a change and post my picks tomorrow.

There is still time for Sportsbet and Steve to change it and add new match instead.

There is time but are they in comfortable position to do so? There could be many making their entries already and overturning them and asking to make their bets with new entries will lead to lot of arguments and so. We have couple of rounds of MM earlier like this and we didn't saw any changes being made and I understand their position and so I think this will also be going to be a 14- match MM round.

Anyway, it's the return of the 1-draw strategy today, and the total odds are unusually low for me "only" 60+ BTC if I hit all this (probably a lot less is the Torino game is called off).
