Usually the victim of the scammer are the new players in the world cryptocurrency. They are lack of information how these scammers works. But for some they become victim because of greed to earn huge return in their investment in a short period of time which was not feasible in the project. Investing in crypto is high risk and to prevent this scammed, everyone should make they due diligence. This technology is still young and a lot of innovation will take place so have some caution on it.

Yes, that's what I am thinking too that most of the victims are really new to crypto, just like us before we also become once victim. What we can do to help people is to remind them always not to trust so much people especially  the founder of the project because they will everything that they can for the sake to raise fund, so we must be aware of it.

Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea

Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news

https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/

Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money

maybe they are attracted to someone that they think that was useful and sometimes because of the proof that they see they do believe.  There are some case that some trusted person who need to invite to get money they also victim but they didn't know so the possible happen was the pyramiding scam where it is like a virus that was easily spread by some person who do believe.

Still? It's not like they are targeting crypto veterans. There are new people flowing in all the time who don't have a clue about crypto scammers yet, and greed is hell of a bait for anyone who think that crypto is a fast way to riches, like most of the newcomers think.
I also suspect, they must be the new bitcoinner who they think can get rich quickly. so after seeing a variety of attractive investment offers, they immediately entered without knowing what was behind them. they are doubtful about their own ability to access bitcoin on a trusted large exchange because profits cannot come instantly.

That's true. The common reason for it is they lack the knowledge and they don't really know what they are investing in.

The main point of this mistake is because they skip the learning and go directly and face the risk and then after that, they will become the victim of a scam. It is not actually their consequence but the result of skipping to learn.

actually if beginners come then we have to teach them, even though many threads have written down but most of them don't focus on things that have potential for knowledge, because of course they need a lot of earlier knowledge but most of them only do things that benefit, unfortunately it happens to many beginners

People fall victim to scam without knowing they are scam because they can't do research on them and some scam projects are very smart and well hidden, if care is not taken you will easily fall for their tricks

Why do you think transferring cryptocurrencies to professional traders is a stupid idea? Let's say I invested in a trading bot and it still makes a profit for me.Professional traders are engaged only in its adjustment.
of course that's not good idea at all. there are reasons:
1 you dont have any agreement which traders can easily exit scam
2 you know nothing who the trader is, so you cant do anything when get scammed
3 there are many cases like this, exit scam

Because they want a faster earning or fascinated on what other projects offer without any hassle. in other words they are ones that easily victimized by this deceit and in the end, they lost their money and realize they do wrong and they didn't even think. ignorance is not reason.  if we want to earn we must first know everything and let go of it.

Watch out for this SPACE!

One of the main reason why is the lack of knowledge of those investors. If you are knowledgeable enough about the scams, you wouldn't fall in such frauds anymore. You should make sure that you know the latest list of the possible scam projects so that you can avoid it already. Make sure always that you are updated and find the best projects at the moment so that you can make the most of it. If you are going to invest on it, make sure that you are in your element and you are at your best to make sure the success of your investment.

Well, the root of all these scams are greed. And most of the people especially newbies wanted an easy money because they were being told that they can acquire it from projects in Cryptocurrency. They don't want to exert an effort that is why they are being trapped from a promise that they will just invest, sit-down and wait for their money.

As someone with a certain level of education and knowledge, I feel that the reason for lack of knowledge and not knowing what to invest in is unreasonable because as long as you are literate, you have access to the internet, you are clear that you are knowledgeable, cannot easily fall into the trap of scammers or ghost projects. The reason people fall into scams is that we are underestimating our greed, a lot of problems in a fake project can be very clearly identified but greed has extinguished everyone's alertness

This is so sad to hear, I wonder why people would do such as to send bitcoin to people on twitter to trade for them most time I think it is as a result of quick result which I would also see as greed. If you are not greedy, all you need is a little time to learn the trade and then you will be fine instead of giving your bitcoin to scammers

Have you ever seen the pump-dump groups which claim that they are the best at this sector? These "professional trader" dump the pre-bought tokens to the new traders and they make money through selling their subscription plans. The losers join this kind of pump-dump groups and they think making money has never been so easy. lol

I think everyone has that trait and it is difficult to control that trait, whereas to learn scams or not only traders who have experience many will know, while for new traders there is still lack of experience so it is easily influenced like that.

People fall victim to scam without knowing they are scam because they can't do research on them and some scam projects are very smart and well hidden, if care is not taken you will easily fall for their tricks
Yes, because scammers are already very smart, so many people are stuck with scam projects, so we clearly have to do research on projects even though it's hard for us to know about scams or not.

Only two things either they are uneducated or they really don't know that they are investing in something that is a scam if the project is obviously a scam, and they choose to invest on it with the hope that it will not go scam, then it's his fault not, and because of this, he should suffer the consequences.
I am sure they are well educated, maybe they hope that investing at there will not be a scam even though they are aware of the risks that are too high exposed to scams and I think this is their fault they must bear. why many people often become victims of scams because it's all about money, if they or we can be more careful, I'm sure there won't be many victims.

They are lured to quick and easy profit. I think that everyone could easily start thinking about such opportunities and I bet that all of us have one bad experience when we fell into a scam. So, we learn from mistakes, that is the reason why scammers are alive.

I hope that something like this does not happen again, and I am sure that the incident involved is a new person who understands crypto. I remember saying that only greedy people lost in this game. Realizing only after the money was gone since scammers are just waiting and wisely tricked those people who are new or greed from this investment venue. In my own opinion, the reason why people still fall victim to scam projects because they are too easy to caught up to their promises that are too good to be true just to attract investors
