Well, it's not that only early crypto adopters are here. New people keep arriving crypo world and mainly from news like how Bitcoin made people rich etc. So obviously they think it is easy to become rich by getting into cryptos and then sometimes they fall into scam traps.
Agree! Most people believe that cryptocurrency market is an easy market to earn money. They don't really understand the way this market world. They know about crypto through news and media (which is usually overreacting). Because of lack of knowledge, they are at great risk of being scammed. It's too obvious that you'll be fooled if you do something you don't know about! Many people are tempted by the short price increase, but they do not know if there is a crash in the cryptocurrency market, well of course if someone is just news from them, they will be deceived, but if they do what they want, of course they will feel a heavy failure at first.

I think all that news about how people "got very rich very quickly because bitcoin became 20k" back in the day made people think that bitcoin and crypto in general is something they can get super rich very quickly. Unfortunately this is not a get rich quick scheme . This is actually a currency and in general altcoins you invest into rarely can go up into high levels and make you a money, plus almost always it takes time. Sure there was a period where investors made a ton of money, but that isn't something viable today, that is something that happened back in the day and no longer available to us. That is why people still come in thinking they could get rich, but realize to late that they can't do that anymore and that is why they leave with scammers who promise them a lot of money.

because they are new to cryptocurrency or digital currency, because many people who are new to crypto will be tempted by high-profit investment investments even though it is a fraud. And don't ever trust people on social media who offer investments with very high profits by asking you to invest without good certainty, of course that's fraud.

most new people are in a hurry to invest. even more so if you see an ad from an HYIP or crypto that is easy enough to get hundreds of percent profit, even with just an investment. Well, I have also been caught in such a trap because I thought about the same thing. it's just that, if we learn about this, we might be able to minimize the risk of getting a scammer.

Why do people still fall victims to obvious scams? Especially on twitter people are still sending bitcoin to traders, no one is a perfect trader, do not send bitcoin or other coins to people to trade for you, its stupid and foolish idea Today a bitcoin trader on twitter exit scam and delete all traces off social media, i heard its about 53bitcoin, here is the link to the news https://coinnewstelegraph.com/bitmex-bitcoin-fund-manager-exit-scams-before-christmas/Pls stop, there is no such thing as easy money, its either you learn or you quit or else you will keep losing money I'm also still confused about the ongoing scams. this topic once made me interested and after reading a lot of research about fraud. where the result is the victim is in a condition where they want something, so the logic does not work perfectly and the communication made by fraudsters is considered not dangerous for the victim. This is very strange for me because for me scamer can be easily avoided.

I guess that the majority of the crypto fraud and scam victims are the newbies. Because they always want an easy money scheme in the first place, the reason why it is easy for them to scam by fraudsters. And also newbies has lack of knowledge about crypto, without knowing that they join into a project and being scam in the long run.
mostly , but not all victim are newbies. even experienced investors scammed to by fake developers or exchanges. just take a look at scamm exchanges, their customer were big trader which have good experienced and money but still trapped in scamm. experienced and newbies has differentiate why they scammed. newbies mostly wrong analisys in project and experienced scammed by exchanges.

The lack of experience and awareness about the market is so harmful. Every mistake in this field, you have to pay money for them. Therefore, stay calm and be wise while investing in this cryptocurrency world.

The reality is that maybe those people who still fall for such obvious scheme of scams are just newbie or those that are just new into cryptocurrency because if they know how to distinguish scam from not, for sure they might not fall into something like that. Those that fall into such scams might be driven by desperation of earning money on which in reality is impossible to be done because there it no instant earning on this world unless you do gambling but that could only possible if you were really that lucky.
The weakness of being desperate of earning money specially at times like this wherein people are seeking for online earnings since many establishments are closed are the times scammers are taking advantage of that weakness that will bring them opportunity to earn for their own.
If we want to help those people that we see fall on such obvious scams, better help them out urgently for we already know the difference between an obvious scam and a legit one. That will be a great help to let them be out of potential scam. Just lend a hand on those that are new in this industry not to fall so that they won't have a bad impression and traumatic experience towards cryptocurrency.

people failed to understand what the thrends on how the market is been run and structured will fall for scams. when most post on social media is about the green market and most never think that scammers can parade themselves as potential traders. it is a lesson for those that loose their funds. there is this saying that if you never taste shallow waters, you will never know how deep a sea or ocean is.

For obvious reasons, people fell victim because of ignorance and also because they don't know how the coin market works. How can you send Bitcoin to someone to invest for you? That sound absorbs, why not try to know how the market is been run, and do it yourself. Just like a forex trading, it's better to be the one doing it yourself than entrusting it to someone to do for you. One other reason that makes people fell victim is probably the profit they promised to give them in return. Whichever way people should be enlighten on how the cryptocurrencies market works in order to avoid more people falling victim.

People likes having someone to get things done for them, they don't want to learn but they have interest in earnings, I don't see any difficulty in learning how to trade, the risk of trading is not knowing anything about it and blindly venture into it which will surely results in losses

If there are people fell in the trap of the scammers that's because there are some really don't have an idea abouot in crypto investment, or some are willing to lose their capital for believing their money will be double or multiply something like that or it could be because of their greediness. But this was just a thought only.

Agreed, it is better to invest in your own education as a trader rather than paying other for trading with your money. Another way to earn money in crypto is holding.

I think is time newbies start learning before jumping into trading, a professional trader should knows the rules and abide by it, is not ideal asking a fellow trader to trade for you, you must not trust anybody with your funds, I hope others doing something related to this will now and stop doing so.

People just want a quick profit and don’t understand that if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Even regular exchanges can scam us as well. I’ve been a victim of an exchange that went out of business.
mainly those shady exchanges that didnt show the identity of their owner and who knows from which country the developers of that exchange comes from. It's like an endless cycle tho, most of the newcomer dont have a clue about the rampant scam that's still happening until now and maybe because of lack education aswell. hopefully there's gonna be a method to prevent this thing although i mostly doubt, even in other market the scam is rampant aswell.

You make some good point but it really easy to be aware of danger in crypto investment and most crypto exchange these even give people tips. However, if we look deeply into the reason why some are victim of obvious scam i believe it because of frustrations which also what lead to greediness, jealous, impatient, immaturity etc. What people need to knowledge to control their frustration in other not to be victim of scam, gambling addict, scammer etc.

I think some people still fall for the scam because the benefit of them getting profits weighs higher than the risk. People are not investigating that much.

Not all scam are obvious but you are right that people still fall for cheap scam tricks, I believe the reason behind this is lack of knowledge, those who put learning aside will fall for cheap schemes in crypto space, no where is safe online if you don't seek for knowledge

Well for me the main reason why people are easily getting scammed is because of one word - gullibility. When there are tens of millions of people that are pinning their hopes to get rich quick schemes they will do everything so they can get the investment money they could get. They will set aside their logical thinking and put all their trust to people with shady personalities masked by eloquence in speech and skills in acting and deceiving. I really pity those who have wasted their time and money going from one scam to another. One should learn valuable lessons after a first mistake.

Here’s the process: Invest -> Wait -> Scammed -> RepeatThey are always looking for easy money rather than working hard for it. I understand that people like us want to have that kind of passive income for life. However, if we really want it to happen, we need to do it through hardwork, perseverance along with smart decisions. There are opportunities out there that are truly legit, but you need to work hard for it rather than putting your hard-earned money in those non-promising scam ponzi opportunities.
