Excellent the buy-in seems reasonable to be inclusive for everyone who wants to play. Should be straightforward enough, I just have to remember to setup my account lol, to busy messing with a problem money box that isn't hashing ATM. Will definitely be good to go though.

Hey guys, I am very happy to share with you that I just received the "official" approval - the tournament should be all set up tomorrow latest! I will post an update as soon as it is available.

You will then be able to find it in sportsbet´s poker lobby and you will need a password to register. I will not share the password publicly but pm it to everyone who would like to join. When registering, the Buy-in + fee will automatically be deducted from your account.

Important Tournament Details:

· Game Type: No Limit Holdem

· Buy-in: 1 mBtc + 0.1 mBtc Tournament Entry + Fee

· Password Protected: Password will be shared via PM

· No Rebuy/Add-Ons/ReEntry

· Starting chip stack: 5000 Chips

· Blind Increase every 10 min starting 25/50

· Payout: Standard dynamic payout structure (industry standard, close to 20%)

· Tournament Award: Prize Pool

· Min # Players: 2

· Registration start date/time: Registration will open tomorrow latest

· Tournament Start date/time: 26/01/2020/ 2PM UTC

23 bitcointalk users have expressed their willingness to participate in the tournament so far. If nothing changes, and all of them will really join, we can have 0.023 BTC prize pool, which is pretty good, for me personally. But if more people will join, it will be even better. Spread the word, guys! And I'll try to do it on my side too.

Idk, maybe it's only me who thinks that it would be more interesting if players registered under their bitcointalk names, but I really think so, and I encourage all of you, guys, to either register under your btctalk name or, at least, to say here in this thread, who are you in the tournament. I mean, that's the whole point, isn't it, to play with our fellow forum members? I think, it would be more fun if we knew who were we sitting with at the tables.

You cannot chose a separate name for the poker room and if people already were registered with a username different than the one here, well, thats the thing. My username is the same but I unregistered to do some tests. People have reported there seem to be issues when trying to register --> must have something to do with the wallet. Anyone else having problems besides the ones who have sent me a pm?

I think we should also look at the number of enthusiasts if many people are interested in joining, maybe next week there will be a second round again, but if a little we have to consider it first.

No idea , support didn't know aswell . They were telling me to refresh which I did 100 times .  At some point my balance showed in the poker section aswell.

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend it .      My acces to poker on sportsbet has been restricted , they've asked me now for KYC , sent some documents + extra for a fast processing , but unfortunately my phone bill is not valid for a proof of address . So I need to get a bank statement which I can't today due to a national holiday . I'll be able to do it on monday ... It really sucks as I wanted to much to be part of this first btctalk tournament .

It's kind of strange that the kyc is enforced only for the poker section , and I continue to have access to the sportsbook , casino etc .

It's bad for you even though this tournament is good and certainly will be exciting because only forum people are playing. About KYC in poker games is a little weird because I didn't get that on my account (Poker). Is the country where we play that influential?

That really suxx man - not even Steve could arrange something? I really dont know why they enforced KYC and I am feeling pretty bad about it because I just wanted us all to have a fun poker time...
