I signed up once I got the pm but forgot that my screenname there isn't like here in the forums so just letting you know that I'm Romanista in sportsbet  
probably won't make it at the time tho but will try my best to be available

I can never get to poker.

Always redirects to https://www.sportsbetio.uk/sports/

are you in UK and have you tried playing with sportsbet.io in the past with no VPN ? it's really weird if it's just poker
I was trying to introduce a friend in the UK to sportsbet but he told me he was instantly directed to the UK version , so according to him people in UK can't use the sportsbet.io but are forced to use the UK one  
but haven't heard about anyone who can use the site normally with just poker redirecting to uk

Well I created my sportsbet account and funded it. The problem is the funded amount isn't showing on the poker page when redirected, just my main sportsbet page to register for the tournament. Hopefully there is just some delay there and I'll register this evening. It's funny because I played in a few freerolls to get the feel for the mobile app and the 80 mbtc or whatever I won is reflected in my sportsbet wallet.
Either way once I get it sorted I will be registered, and I used steamtyme as my name

VPN cant bypass KYC, that's 2 fails for the UK in a week I couldn't enter the magic 7 either.

i'm now registered. my nickname at the tables is FOMA888. that brings us up to 9 players---that's at least one full table with another 24 hours of registration to go. not bad!

hopefully i'll manage to be awake. the game starts at 6am local time for me. if not, you guys can have my dead money.

I figured in the final push we could see about finding a few non gambling section stragglers so I posted here in meta. Pointed them to the OP, and the tournament structure post.

I have played garage tournaments a few times with friends but have never played online on that site or any other with any coin, so I don't know how much difficulty will be in setting that all up..

Still nothing to do to enter through any browser on my PC 

If I decide to play on my mobile phone, I will join by tomorrow morning, but I'm not so comfortable using my phone for playing poker, it's easier for me to use the PC

If you ask me, 9 players is also good, but, of course, more would be better. I even placed the announcement about the event on PD forum, and it has got 15 views, but no replies

Unfortunately I won't be there . The poker room got restricted to me , have to pass KYC , and it won't be done in time .
So most probably I'll be in sit-out mode , cause as it seems I'm not able to unregister .

Sorry guys I am out of this one. There is final match of Handball Euro 2020 played at 16:30 my local time which is just hour and a half after start of poker session. I don't know how long this poker tournaments tend to last but I don't want to risk it and find myself in position that I have to choose between watching my team fight for gold medal and earn some BTC

Good luck guys - I am really ashamed to say that even though I was organizing this, I am not playing - I wasnt able to register and support couldnt help either. So I will definitely be happy if you guys like it anyways and we will do a second tournament - before that I will have to make sure though that everyone can register and participate!

Game has been fun so far, first break now. Tough go on mobile, I have fairly spotty reception here, so I have to hold my phone just right and avoid slipping to the wrong button lol. Forget about custom betsizing, good luck all.
