Yes that will take care of it you if I'm not mistaken you don't even really have to say you are going to participate as I believe the password will just be common knowledge for the next tournament. This way late reg players can join freely without trying to get the password. If you want you can let people know your username for fun, so we know who we are playing.

Speaking of time, is it only me who thinks that sometimes some players are, randomly, given 90 seconds of additional time, and sometimes even additional 20 seconds on top of that? It's really annoying to wait that much only to see that player is actually inactive.

yes I also feel it, there are even more than 2 minutes.
and I think there is a connection disconnected because the game server is unstable.
whereas those who are truly inactive usually only have less time around 60 seconds Roll Eyes
~

Yes, those who are truly inactive have no additional time at all, and that's good, but those were active just recently, indeed sometimes are given more than two minutes(or it feels like that, but more than 90 seconds for sure). This also happens in the very beginning of the tournament. That's the worst part, imo, when there are two inactive players at the table, and all the others must wait more than 3 minutes to start actually playing.

I'm pretty sure at times if it's a connection issue or lag that it gives makes up the time. I remember this happening on 888 years ago. The few times the program froze and then came back without me having to log out. In general if everyone is at the table without issue this won't happen.

I couldn't really tell as my connection wasn't the greatest during the tournament. You could ask their support for clarification. I'd be comfortable not having any extra time if it's a connection issue; not so much if it's a platform issue. The connection is my problem the platform is not

I say lets play in 2-3 weeks on a Sunday and use a time slot somewhere around what figmentofmyass (man I find it hard to spell that username Cheesy) is suggesting.

you wanna update the poll in the OP?

what do people think about sunday february 16th at 6pm GMT?

it's the lesser of two evils. this way, inactive players just time out once and it's over. with softwares where the time bank doesn't automatically engage, i've accidentally missed loads of monsters like AA and KK pre-flop. this is doubly important on sportsbet, where the notifications don't seem to work 100% of the time.

Done - I have updated the poll, guys, its 11 days until then - if thats too soon, 23/2 can be an alternative. This time I will post the password in this thread and also arrange some longer late registration period.

I do not know what is happening on this site in poker, before there were freerolls where you could win some money for tournaments or cash, but now it is practically impossible because freerolls have become 4 where 40-50 people play!
But that's not all they did 50 and 20 mbts tournaments where the same people are constantly winning, with the 2 nd 50 mbts tournament ending in 2 minutes, where 12 people played, 3 in 20 mbts ended in 1 minute, today and yesterday just as possible, you support multi-account, or use bots, or launder money Huh !!!

I might be able to do a 6PM GMT time..

Why does it require so much planning ahead of time? Why not do 2 a week or so?

vote in the poll. Wink

Why does it require so much planning ahead of time? Why not do 2 a week or so?

trying to optimize the timing to make sure we can get enough players.

i'm hoping we can get at least a semimonthly game going. for now it's tough since we don't have an established/regular game (yet). the last tourney was the first one ever, and it only had 10 or so players, including multiple sit-outs.

This what I was saying couple of days ago

~
And one more observation (again, if it's only me, just ignore it). With this particular poker software(I play it on another site, and I have this same problem there as well) a warning signal never sounds in the right time. When time is running out for some other player, I can hear the sound, but when it's me who has 5 seconds left to react, nothing happens.

but was told it was only me by @naikturun. So it's not only me then.

Who else can confirm that there is no notification sound when you are running out of time?

(I think it has something to do with this particular poker software, because I encounter the same problem on another site that uses this same software.)

Please vote in the poll guys!  Cool I am sure we will be able to do it twice a month or so in the near future but for now I would really love to organize our second tournament and get as many players as possible. Wink

Edit: Will edit OP with current information in a day or two!

Not yet but I should be in the next 1-2 days , needed to go to the bank for a proof of address , and how I'm working monday to friday it was pretty difficult to find a window when to run off and get it .   But managed to do it today , and got excited ,  looking forward to bringing out the "fish" in me at the tables.

Yeah, they do and I've just read the terms and conditions and this one clearly says it all.

I've been looking out this thread since then but just new to gambling especially on online poker as I've been that of much a regular now at Acewins with their daily game. I want to give this a try since players are from the forum and I guess it's good to know them and try for an experience as well. Guess I'll let this pass for a while 'til I get my proof of utility since that one is hindering me and I have a hunch this Poker Night will not that easy to be dissolved since many are that interested.

Any telegram groups or discord for easy consensus with the interested players? Though we can get it here I guess it's much better if there is much faster communication.
