I think this scam is nothing too special. It is still the traditional method when targeting the greed of people. I think only naive and greedy people believe that they can take money when they do nothing.

So, they managed to have another idea by hacking a youtube channel to gather more victims. This is something that we should be aware of, they may be doing the same trick as they are promising to double the funds to be sent to them but the thing that we must be alert is that, they have a way to get a youtube channel that has a lot of subscribers. That way, they can make their offer a legitimate action.

I am sure that scammers have nothing left to do scam, their legerdemains clearly indicates scam so the crypto community which is getting smarter day by day can easily understand the ridiculous attempts of scammers and the new people who are involving in crypto they just have to be aware regarding this issue I believe awareness will protect them from scams for sure.

As the crypto community become smart, scammers are not just sitting there. They are making new plans to scam people. Recently a smart scam idea they whelp and that is youtube live streaming! Lots of people are falling those scams even one of my crypto mentors shared that link to participate!
Scammers are hacking youtube channels which have at least 10K subscribers to 80K! Then they collect some famous crypto meetup or interview videos! Later they make live streaming with that downloaded video, and announce a giveaway of 100K BTC or 100K ETH, BCH, XRP and so on! Can you imagine how smart this shit idea is? However, at the corner or left side of that live streaming they add a live transaction banner where you can see that if you send 1 Ethereum, you will get 5 or 10 Ethereum instantly!
If you ever fall in that trap means you are done, you fall in the scam and lost your money forever! Guys, be aware, always check a coin's official twitter handle to verify every giveaway! Don't fall in the scam, let scammers cry and die!
This is not a new form of scam, I've seen it since 2018 and it has been working for a long time. This is a clever scam that comes from hackers and it has made many people trapped, I personally have been tricked with it but fortunately that is not too much money.

People are still falling to scam tricks, those people are the ones who don't want to learn, there is no way to prevent this from happening if no one is ready to listen to warnings, people just like learning only when things don't go as they planned

Scammers always need something to show off so that people will have interest, the only thing is too good to be true offers, we've post many posts about offers that are too good to be real on this forum but many wants to try their luck out in the hope of making quick money
Definitely right. Even though there are a lot of warnings for fraud in this forum, still there are people who are victims of such scam. That is one of the reasons why the scammers are still here because they can still get people in their hook. My advise if you are newbie in this line, watch and learn first all about scam and fraud before investing.

Of course as we make way to improve the security, hackers are also finding their ways to still hack accounts. Ways of hacking are also improving. So we must be always prepared. In PH there is an awareness campaign for the internet "Think before you click". There are so many fake news, fake sites so be responsible for every click especially for us since we are dealing a money in here. Imagine all the things you've earned and saved will just fall into somebody's hand. It badly hurts.

We all have greed in us but it depends how we handle it ourselves, the fact is trying to get something for free without breaking a sweat is not normal, the moment you start thinking that nothing is for free in this world those scam offers won't attract you

I guess considering even the famous twitter ETH one got like hundreds of thousands of dollars in total (not all at once but combined total) I am not shocked that people are still trying to find a different way to scam people since there are so many gullible people on earth.
Think about it, there were people who opened names resembling Elon Musk and then they asked people ethereum in return of giving more ethereum and some people fell for it, that is as idiotic as I can think of, it requires almost no work, just write under Elon's every tweet and then people will give you money. If there are people who are stupid enough to fall for that type of scam, I can only imagine how much people could make from bigger scams that look a lot more legit and professional.

This scam idea is quite new to me, i have not seen nor hear about it before. All scammers operates the same way, they setup traps and add baits, the traps only catches the greedy ones, if it sounds too good to be true then it is. Thanks for informing us.

I guess this is one of the reasons why they have started banning some Youtubers account that is majorly crypto oriented. It is also a way of watching things been perpetrated by these fraudulent people. I am very happy that this post will somehow enlighten people on the nefarious acts by these young lads.

So sorry to these Youtube channels that were hacked, it's not easy to grow your Youtube channel with those huge subscribers, it's a new scam method employed by scammers because they cannot scam people from ICO anymore, so they have turned to Youtube give away.

This is good advice because lots of people don't know the difference between a legitimate proposal and a scam, but generally if it sounds too good to be true, that's because it probably is so make sure you stay away from these types of offers

from what already stated above by OP and it seems like this the scamm tries a new trick and that's something new because scammer is also spending his money to buy the subscriber and then tried to collect the money by using the popularity on his channel. The fact that so many scammers can run away with the investor's money. We must become even smarter from day to the day.

You dont ever have to check someone's twitter or anything. Big they ask you to send money to get money it's a scam...ALWAYS. If something sounds to good to be true than it usually is. Please dont ever send money randomly to "verify" yourself, otherwise you kinda deserve to lose it.

The fraud is very professional but I think our logic should also work, how is it possible to just send 1 Eth to get 5-10 Eth is not logical. But it has to be more careful, especially in the crypto world with almost no guarantees, only capital to believe.

Im aware of this because of our facebook group chat. One of the member sent us a link of this scam through youtube live streaming and you're right this is another way of scammers to scam people.
Well its an obvious scam and only greedy people will bite this offer.
But if you're in crypto world for long period already, you'll know that this kind of move is not reliable to double or triple your money.

I feel sad when a YouTuber knows that his YouTube account has been hacked by a scammer, I once found a channel with subscriber 300k streaming giveaway and after seeing the views wow I was surprised to see many people watching. Even after that youtube account is difficult to recover. And for the crypto community, don't believe in CZ giveaway or anything that's not from official account because most scammers do giveaway using the name CZ.

But becauase the channel has a lot of followers they will think this is legitimate and that's the problem even its too good to be true there still people greedy to try it and they will only realise that its scam once the eth send to the provided address.

Absolutely! It is very hard to realize this is fake and scam, as I mentioned many expert people even fall for this scam! In those youtube streaming videos, I saw almost 3-5K people were watching live! The XRP/ETH CEO is talking about Ethereum, Ripple and beside the video, the giveaway banner is moving continuously, so, it is not easy to get this is a scam!
