Sorry to bother you. I am here again. I was trying to share your stats on my local board and ask them to be more active. But, I am pretty much Puzzled. IDK, if it's your mistakes or my miss understanding. I Checked All the posts made on Bangladesh Thread in October and counted the Merit (From Locals only). It was 13 Merits from locals.

But, As per your charts, it's showing 2 merit's on the Bangladesh thread - Number Of Merits Per local board.

And, Same on Merit per post ratio,

Also, Checked Merit senders and receivers per local board. and Bangladesh is missing. I guess Bangladesh is still a thread, not a board. this could be the reason. but, I would like to hear from you.

You are right, I made a mistake ( I mixed Bulgarian and Bangladesh merit data as they were right next to each other). I just double checked the data and during October 12 merits were shared on Bangladesh thread. I will adjust the chart when I get some time as if I make that small change on the chart, all the other boards for some reason change the color.

That's better. Don't think about time. I know you putting a lot of effort there and you spend a lot of time on it. No matter when you will be able to share it. I think it's fair if you can share November Months' data within The December month. You should take your time since this is not your only job and everyone Have their things to do. We are happy to have you in this forum. You are a good asset to Bitcointalk Forum. I think everyone expects accurate data. I believe everyone will understand you and the purposes for being late. Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity Indonesia has been update. Now we just have to wait for Rikafip to update all local board activities which are more complete as usual.

Below is a comparison over the last 3 months where we were able to maintain the number of merit distributions above 200+ per month (maybe since July 2021). I know the numbers may still be quite low compared to other local board, but this can be used as proof that Indonesian local board users are not being overlooked for merit when they are able to make quality posts.

That was exactly my goal with all these delays and something I learned long time ago when I started working; you don't wanna push yourself too much because people will expect more from you than from those that are slacking. Set the bar low and enjoy

Now I can casually release overview in the 2nd part of the month, without people wondering why. And if by some miracle I manage to make it within reasonable time frame (first 10 days of month), people will be pleasantly surprised.

It's exactly one month later since the last brief overview, meaning time for another one, this time for November 2021. Charts and tables are made with he help of two tools: @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboardand @TryNinja Ninjastic.space.

Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Nigerian, Bangladesh) don't have their own local boards but are included nevertheless.


Post activity per local board during November 2021

During November 2021, 19413 posts were made in local boards, which is a slight decrease compared to October and 20942 posts being written. While Russian remained pretty much the same, and German board increased the activity (first time in a while), majority of other active boards had lower number of posts compared to October. Turkish board had the biggest decrease in terms of post activity, followed by Indonesian and Italian. With the holiday season incoming I think that December numbers will be even lower, but  we will find that out soon enough.

Merit shared per local board during November 2021

Decrease in post count has been followed by merit decrease; while in October 8342 merits were shared across local boards, during November that number went down to only 7142 which is approximately 15% decrease. This decrease is spread across majority of the boards, with only Turkish and Indonesian (among the most active boards)  increasing the amount of merit shared.

When it comes to "losers", the biggest one in that regard is German board, that went from 1826 in October to 928 merits shared in November, but I think October was more of an exception so November numbers are actually more in line show German board performed lately.

As always, this chart follows the amount of merit shared one, which makes sense as in majority of cases, more merit shared=more people involved.

Once again blue color dominating the chart, meaning boards still performed better during November than in the last 12 months. Stanrad names are at the to, while Pakistan community yet  again did really well, despite the lack of local board.

Despite our local thread being more active than a lot of other local boards, we are yet to get a board. I think it's time to create a local board for Bangladeshi users. There were a few quality poster who has lost interest because of not having a board.
What more does it require? There's board with no moderator.

I haven't thought about making something like that, but now when you mentioned, at the beginning of this year I did yearly overview of my local board so I might do something similar. Anyway, you gave me food for thought.

Since I started using ninjastic.space for Russian local board, I expanded it for all other local boards too, to keep it consistent so now I manually calculate merit/post ratio by taking merit data from @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and post count from ninjastic.space so difference comes from that. It's way more work for me though since I have to calculate ratio for both month/last 12 months periods and mistakes are definitely possible, especially since i hurry lately to release these overviews.

I perfectly understand that it must be very hard to keep normal conversations when you are restricted to just one thread, but nothing much you can do, other than keeping it active and remain patient. You have to understand forum staff too, since many ocal boards are half dead know, so they are kinda reluctant to create new ones.

Yeah, bro. You can take me as an example. It's really hard to discuss everything in a single thread. But, As Rikafip already said, What we can do for now is just be active there and be patient. Who knows, maybe we can get a local board in the future. also a merit source

I understand. Sometimes, even wanting to be as automated as possible, there is information that ends up having to be worked on manually. The work to automate ends up not paying off, for the proposed objective. Gradually, automatisms are created, even if you have to do something manually.
