I really appreciate your monthly overview of local board activities, Rikafip. You do a great job as usual. (By the way, you forgot to change the color of the German bar in the first chart, but it's not a big deal.)
Thanks for noticing, its been sorted now. But I guess mistakes like that are tradeoff for doing these overviews so early in the month, I won;t do the same mistake next month and will take longer time to publish it.
Our Croatian local board is experiencing a small drop in activity compared to last month, but that was to be expected as summer is always a time of reduced activity on the forum. Hopefully, we will get back on track and the activity will increase after the summer break.
Summer definitely affected whole forum, our local board included. Its only natural to spend less time on forum and travel around, especially after covid restrictions when it wasn't easy to go to your local supermarket, let alone some other country (that didn't stop me to travel, but I know many were). I do expect numbers to go up now after summer is behind us but will see how that plays out.
I know everyone else is speaking English language so there is no need for special local boards, but I always wondered what the stats would look for United States, United Kingdom and Australia.
My assumption is that most active users are coming from US, but someone could be living in Asia or Europe and still speak US English.
Yeah that would be an interesting stat to see, how many users are from English speaking countries. While they may have dominated in the, past somehow I doubt its the same situation now. I don't have any data to back that up though, its just my impression based on the posts I see.
Some of the most active users have lost interest in posting on local board as the campaign no longer counts local posts, this has lowered the overall post count in August. Maybe for September, the data will decrease further for the above reasons as well.
Its pretty much the same situation in our local board as some of our most active members either went awol or are seriously slacking and its probably the same for majority of other local boards.
Mate, great work as usual! I already did the usual scavenging adding your graphs to my thread in the Italian section:
Cheers bud!
Thanks for this comment as a source of motivation for the push to get a local board for those mentioned local communities as our presence is becoming prominent in this forum and the need to have a dedicated local board, for local discussions.
Just keep being active there and they might stop ignoring you and give you you own local board, which I think you deserve.
