Go against the flow.
It's a good strategy but too much is at risk here.

You can buy crypto currencies now but there is just no assurance that it will really rise.
The economy is not looking good because of the corona virus.
People now are just spending money without anything going back to them.
After this thing is cured then people will need some time to go back to their normal way of using money. Saving and investing.
It may take a while before we could see a good rise in crypto prices again.

At least we're on the bitcoin forum and we all knew about that. But those that are not in this forum are not aware of this possibility. They keep on telling cash is king and then what happens if their money on the banks will be frozen due to the control of influx by the depositors when they start withdrawing funds.

But not all crypto users can afford to buy more bitcoin or other alts. Some need to cash out their crypto in order to address their basic necessities. But yeah. at least we are in this forum and we will be getting some strategies on how to earn money while we are in this situation. Fiat currency is not safe anymore as they can be the source of virus when it is being transferred from one person to another. So we need to be cautious also with our fiat money.

We are all in that situation and we need to take care first of our needs but it doesn't mean that you don't have any extra cash for it. Well, if you're not too careful the way you take care of your finance, it's likely that your savings will be used in times like this.
But for financial literate, they have a budget for the needs and if they also understand that it's the right time to invest in markets like bitcoin, they will not hesitate to buy.

The theories of some medical doctors state that this virus will be here in the next following months, the government are trying to contained to lessen numbers of people who can possibly be affected of this disease. We need to be practical and be wise in order to make right decisions in every time

It doesn't matter what different btc enthusiasts attribute to btc because eventually those are their personal beliefs and not a general term, however, we should all be hopeful that their will be a vaccine soon enough to curb the virus,
Between I still don't get why people are regarding btc with high volatility a safe heaven, we all know price of btc is not stable, it fluctuates every now and then, why is it consider as safe heaven?

As much ad I wanted too but I dont have extra fund for buying crypto. Yes a major recession could or already happening and crypto is one way to a more lucrative approach on payment system. Probably atms, and bank arent much gonna stay open or closed for a while and only those remittance center will be catering people, its a good step if people will learn crypto while staying at home and gain interest to use it too.

Even big cryptos you will still have worries investing on them
If u have a good amount of capital why not start a business.
Then when the business is stable try to invest on crypto u researched on and do some little risk so that u wont have regrets on losing some on crypto. Might get lucky if the coin will go boom.

For Bitcoin hodlers, remember what also happened last year when we had it worse. This is just one of those days again, and it might be a really bad timing to go with the coronavirus right now but we should be recovering any day.
This isn't something to panic at.
Buying crypto right now would somehow be a good of an option since we're kinda at low right now but I think people are more focused into buying the needs for this pandemic.

Good advise though but if people are not planning to invest, I would not suggest crypto since they might lose their money due to volatility.

Man, that's really a lot whole worse, and it would be very painful, if that were going to happen. I kinda think that is very unlikely to happen again with today's environment. Because everybody, I mean everyone is in need now besides there were different circumstances way back last 2008 has, that is why they came out to the point that they need pull out such silly decision compared to what is happening right now. No one would allow something like that though, humanity isn't like that anymore, I hope so. Yes, crypto can be a good alternative when centralized is failing in a lot of countries. In India, a major bank stops its user's fund withdrawing. This should be a major turning point for Indian people to adopt and involve in crypto so that this type of situation won't happen again. Crypto gave us the power to protect our own funds by myself.

Seem like it will be different with the current situation. Bank and ATM was produced by government and they are free to make any change because they will still benefited as well. The world is putting their eyes on the crypto right now as some infected countries have already started to adopt the crypto as an alternative way to counter this virus in terms to create a convenient system for the transaction. Due to the worst crisis and they must do that. In this case, there was no possibility for the bank to prevent the users from withdrawing the customer's money. even if the crisis occurs again, maybe the government has prepared this in the future if the crisis will happen again.

I will lean more to this statement than the post of the OP. I didn't experienced the 2008 crisis but indeed this is worse than what happened at that time.

Right now, there is no time for an average person to know or even invest into Bitcoin right now because they need cash far more than crypto. If you will go to a grocery store, how can you use Bitcoin if they aren't accepting it?? If you are holding Bitcoin and you don't have cash anymore, how can you pay your bills or the things you bought.
