I don't see how Bitcoin will hit $100k in  7 months time, people do not understand how market works, the amount of money that is needed to push the price to $100k where is it going to come from? We need the economy to be up and running again, people have lost jobs and money already and would not be keen to put their money in any asset until there is stability in the space

Yes all we need is to predict only but we cannot sure yet in this jan 1 2021 bitcoin reach on that high of price.

It turns out that you think such a price is real after a halving of 2024?    Bitcoin history is amazing, with many turns! More then once price went incredibly high, and after some
time dropped hard, we who are in crypto-currencies knows how this feels!
   I think 1 Jan is to early for $100k, my opinion! In future we can expect even higher price, but we need to
be patient. This pandemic is one of the factor that nobody could expect! What will come out of this, where will
this world make a turn, can be a surprise for man. Keep low expectations, everything can change in days.

When moving from the single digit to double and then to 3 digits and so on in such circumstances the percentage rise is not the same. As when the numbers when small even a dollar upside yields good % movement as compared to when it has say reached 5 digit mark. So certainly, the rise may not be that exponential as it used to be previously and considering this it would take some time to reach 50k as well if that happens.
