What Makes GRS Superior To Other Alts?

https://cryptovoid.net/grs-superior-to-alts/
Groestlcoin has made some amazing strives since I had first written about it, at just nine cents per coin. After investing more of my assets into it over the past few months, I’ve only found more and more reasons to love it. Upon further analysis I’ve convinced myself that GRS will be the big winner to take over the crypto-alt world in 2018… Here’s why.

I agree that on paper the features of GRS looks amazing, and GRS should be crushing all other alts, but somehow GRS has not profited as much from the recent influx of fiat into altcoins as many many (theoretically) inferior coins. I really don't know why this is, marketing? I know a rebrand was discussed, perhaps that would help.

I mined GRS way back when the coin launched, and I have been holding a good chunk of it ever since, I just find it weird that such a great coin is not receiving the attention it deserves in my view...

I just find it weird that such a great coin is not receiving the attention it deserves in my view...

The developers need to step up to the plate and put more effort into marketing. They owe it to their investors to raise awareness about their coin. It's not our job to do that. If they aren't willing to do this, then that tells me they aren't serious about making this thing grow.

I also believe the name needs to be changed. Names are important when it comes to branding. A good brand name can make a big difference in getting attention. The more attention a brand gets, the better the chances are for its growth.

The developers do not owe us anything. Did they force you to buy? This is not how an open project should work.
Everybody contributes, not just the developers. Community does marketing. Developers should develop.

That's not how business works. A percentage of the money that is invested into a business should be allotted to marketing its brand. Every successful business has a budget for marketing and hires a professional marketing team to raise awareness about its brand.

Been a long time follower or GRS but just joined the party now.  By far the one of the best coins that needs to be in the top 50.

You assume the GRS devs are a business. The project is open source and not funded in any way other than mining and selling of said project and time donated. Under these circumstances the developers are not obligated to spend any money on marketing. Most crypto projects that have marketing are either proper businesses or have a mechanism for funding (i.e. masternode funding or block reward funding [whatever you call zcash's funding method]). Most others projects marketing efforts are often community run or sponsored. I know of a couple projects where a donor paid for marketing since those projects had no funding methods (at that time for one of them).

I came across this thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2170308.msg26360171#msg26360171

speculating that Baikal's X10 ACIS miners can / could / will be able to mine Groestl algorithm. Is anything more about this known?

Hi Smiley

I just came accross this coin. Looks pretty interesting imo.
My phone is running android, and searching for "groestlcoin" shows several groestlcoin wallets. Namely "Groestlcon Wallet" or "Groestlpay Wallet". I understand Grestel Samourai is intended for higher security, but what are the key differences between the other wallets?
In the end I went with the Groestlpay Wallet but I'd still like to know.  Wink

After some digging, I found out there is a ready-to-use package for Ubuntu (http://groestlcoin.org/forum/index.php?topic=441.0)!
Are there plans to also provide packages for other Distros (Arch-based)? I like having a package in the repos instead of having to building the wallet myself, so this would be nice Smiley

Thanks!

I got into Groestlcoin since last night... Looks like they plan to get a massive 2018...
Even thinking of not following this up on a daily or weekly basis..

From what I read and conclude for myself I think this is quiet manageable as a long term investment.
Will check it's value out around mid february for a first time :-) good luck to all!

Morning, justoiurii. Jackie will help you with this technical issue, either here https://www.reddit.com/r/groestlcoin/ or on the Telegram GRS.

Hi
I took advantage of this huge drop to buy some GRS for about 0.77usd.
I believe MUCH in it. It's a gift at this price.
