In a nutshell, to use the network effect (the main thing that gives bitcoin its value) to create a way to fund healing the atmosphere on a massive scale without taxation.

So we need to get people using it first and foremost, and from there The Carboncoin Trust and our trustees will do the rest

add: Thank you for asking - it is not meant to be intimidating in any way - that's the last thing I wanted.  There'll be a video done before long which should explain it well

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Done a bit of tweaking to the server, things seem to be dialed in about perfectly now. Please let me know if you're having any issues, and I'll take care of it.

Sometime in the next few days I'll probably add a Carbon version of my favorite invest-able hi/lo roll game! Keep your eyes peeled!

Lowered TXfee at pool http://carbon.fedaykin.us!
Added a small block bonus as well.

I normally don't invest much because it takes most of what I earn to keep things rolling, but I'm gonna be hanging on to what Carbon I do mine to see what the future holds. Very interesting stuff Cheesy

Thanks for all the hard work Edric - I am away from my rig at the moment but will switch over Monday Smiley

The coin is certainly 'One to Watch' they are rolling out a lot of interesting / ground-breaking features over the next few weeks that are going to bring it to the attention of a very wide audience indeed!

The team behind the coin and charity seem to be growing fast and well and cohesion amongst the wider community of early adopters and stakeholders has really started to gain momentum over the past 2 months - exciting times  Cool

The old site www.carbon-co.in has been turned into our own CarboncoinTalk Forum so come over and check us out there as well - there are even a few CARBON rewards being offered for referrals and top posters so come and get involved (or start!) in the mining discussions over there too...

New Windows and Mac Wallets now available on the official new site www.carboncoin.cc

Hi Eric, payouts seem to have stalled since yesterday?

Also, can you please change the timeout on your site so I dont have to keep logging back in every 30 mins? thanks

Yeah, I've been working on it, very sorry about that. It seems that the most recent update to MPOS had a bug, and I must have pulled it in between the update and the bugfix for the update. Didn't notice till I went to withdraw my stuff.

Everything seems to be working now. I'll see if there's anything I can do about the timeout. I have the csrf protection off for the moment, and you won't timeout if you're on the dashboard screen, but anywhere else you will.

Everyone please check and make sure your payout address is still set properly and correct.

Hope I am not speaking out of turn but I am pretty sure AxisMundi is taking over the basshash Carboncoin pool and moving it to a new server at the moment.

Not out of turn, I am on the case - first step fix the payout issue then it needs an upgrade.

Ha! Your dad is advanced! Both sites are now back up but miners haven't autoswitched. The payout issue is yet to be resolved but as before it's still working, just need to fix the one erroneous block which has stopped the other payouts. Planning to give it some time tomorrow

Been doing a bit of SEO for http://carboncoin.cc/ and noticed on the homepage https://agx.io is still listed as an exchange though it doesnt seem to be traded there anymore?

Also, http://carbon.fedaykin.us needs to be added to the list of mining pools on the homepage & https://carb.crunchharder.net removed.

Lastly, do we have any readily available coin 'specs' available? eg: block times, etc nm, found this info toward the bottom of the page Smiley
