Re giveaways: If the amount is low I am all for it as it is good to get new users on board, but will be starting a thread on CCTalk for people to claim coins based on things they have done to measurably benefit Carboncoin (getting a friend to download a wallet and sign up to the forum, telling an influential friend about what we are doing etc), think this is more useful than making it easy for free coins to be claimed. 250k is very generous indeed for a tweet
(but for only 4 more days it's a nice positive start to getting it out there). I think the focus should really be on earning coins in order to build value.
I will be formalising the list of bounties/outstanding tasks on CCTalk in the next few days. For those interested I am thinking of creating a few temporary carbon-paid roles to free me up for getting the development/admin tasks done. Anyone with time interested in getting involved at that level send me a pm and we can have a conversation about structuring roles to best take advantage of individual's skill sets - can be anything from programming to copywriting.
