Nowadays ICO is almost dead. 
What's your thoughts on it?

Nowadays ICO is almost dead?? No, ICO Already dead. If you worry to invest in ethereum because ICO is dead, you are wrong, Ethereum is not related to ICO.

That is why it has less demand.

Less demand because, i think in 2017 when so many coin reach ATH after that all coin dumped so high, so many people stuck, that's why many people leave crypto world

I don't think it will get another ATH soon.

I do sincerely and faithfully believe in the wonder of cryptocurrencies and ethereum has surprised us in performance before. We are at a time were the market trends are mostly in range and anything can still happen before end of the month in positive direction.

reminds me that time when people are so afraid because the ICO market is falling but ethereum could recover from its bearish phase to bullish and it's just matter of time, now that ICO is not the same as before and ETH still standing firm I guess ETH is definitely still worth to hold.

The answer is always subjective because we have different plans and goals in life. I have ETH and my plan is to day trade it so I basically a scalper using 30 min and 1 hour chart to make profit in trading. I do not just hold my ETH, I keep growing through day trading. But for those people who are afraid to do it then holding is better for you because it just requires a lot of patience and a good mindset to do it.

Days are gone and ETH is now limiting the value upto 240$ but as the last update was,there will be a 2.0 version coming so this is
the reason why others wanted to keep holding this coin.

i had converted half of my ethereum to bitcoin and 2 other altcoins because i am tired waiting about that new version.

Anyway i will keep holding the another half for at least i will not regret when time comes
 that ETH comes bullish again like what it did in 2018.

So many icos are still using a lot of ethereum chain and IEO too.  Just because there was some scam icos and that will never ruined the reputation that has already gained by ethereum. So far everything is still under control as the scammers will be so difficult to scam people these days

there will be a time that fraudsters will also experience a loss of trust because all will begin to understand and give information to each other for bad projects. cooperation is indeed needed so that all can run as before when the ICO triumphed in his time, and that there is confidence that there will be change.

I think ethereum is better to hold now  because ethereum price is low and this year ethereum 2.0 is coming so I hope the eth price will increase again.ETHERIUM is really a perfect coin for long-term investment , Because there is good prediction about Etherium  that Etherium touch a good price in future . In fact I also have some Etherium in my wallet as a long-term investment , hopefully I got good profit from it

Simply remember what kind of problems early adopters had! Do you think they had support from everyone?! They held their position strong, and look where are they now! I wasn't here when bitcoin was less than dollar in value, but I was here shortly after ETH was under a dollar! Do you know what many people said about eth? It's a big scam! You can check posts from +5 years ago. Do your own research and make your own decision about what you will support! And believe in that no matter what!

It is always lack of vast knowledge about a particular coin and its potentials that causes most of these things beens said. With most said so far by you, the ICO system is gradually been abandoned for Defi. The coming year will be a bomb for the whole Defi ecosystem.

Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.

No one really knows because everything will really depend on the demand and its true that ICO is pretty much dead for now but we do know that ETH would really have that 2.0 which would be a possible trigger up
for its price to reach new heights again but if i were to say that such things doesnt really give out any guarantees that it will happen.We cant be know if people would still able to trust it up on such change or update
in Eth platform.In regards into your investment decision then it will be depending on you if you can handle out the risk involved on making such step.If you can gamble out and still trust ETH then its your choice
but if not then find another option.

Firstly, ICO are not dead and still exist till now but didnt make waves and didn't capture the investors interest. However, ICO or IEO is not the reason for ETH uptrend in the market and the current downtrend of ETH reasonable because crypto market is in the realms of simultaneous up/down movement due to the pandemic etc.
With that been said, if youre holding ETH you dont need to panic or sell it cause it will follow the trend of BTC once the down trend is over and i hope you also understand the impact of the ETH 2.0 either.

Ethereum gets a lot of positive feedback for the next update and the hype for eth 2.0 is a real thing and it can't be abandoned by the ethereum holders. It's better to hold it rather than waste our opportunity to join in the next waves when the dev will have published an exact date about it.

Holding ETH during this period will not bring much profit to investors because based on what is happening, this coin will certainly not be able to increase as before. If you choose to invest long-term, then you need to be patient for at least 3 more years to make a profit because Ethereum 2.0 will not be able to help this coin rise well. I have no reason not to exchange or sell them while I have a lot of reason to hold them. I don't find any tokens that I can exchange to ETH besides to BTC. There some struggle about ETH but its not hold them back to claim the spot for top crypto currency. ETH might delay there 2.0 update but we can't denied the fact that crypto holders want this to happen even it takes a while before its official launch but it should launch the phase 1 this 2020.

There is an ethereum upgrade that is talk about and about to happen. Ethereum is one of the coin that I hold until today though Ico is already dead these days. Indeed it is worth holding but of course prior investing a person must do your own research about ethereum. It takes time for eth to increase so good to hold for long term.

There has not been any confirmation that Ethereum 2.0 will be coming out at the end of the year as things are still unknown and I'm not sure this news will cause the price of Ethereum to rise again. I think it will take more time and people seem to be losing faith in the coin more so surely no one will be interested in this news. Personally, I will only choose to invest when that coin brings me many benefits and instead of buying ETH, I would choose BNB because this coin is so much better.
