ETH to hold now or not?

Damn you ETH,,, why Bitcoin managed to maintain a bit but you went down a lot? I wonder does anyone think Twitter hack had any impact on this or what exactly? I mean Bitcoin should have been the one to suffer but ETH is the one dropping a lot grrr!

There has not been any confirmation that Ethereum 2.0 will be coming out at the end of the year as things are still unknown and I'm not sure this news will cause the price of Ethereum to rise again. I think it will take more time and people seem to be losing faith in the coin more so surely no one will be interested in this news. Personally, I will only choose to invest when that coin brings me many benefits and instead of buying ETH, I would choose BNB because this coin is so much better.

Agree, the more time it takes for them to release Ethereum 2.0 the less people are anticipating it. Sometimes I wonder why it hasn't released until now and making me doubt about ethereum development but its market cap is still #2 in crypto market. If only they could speed up the upgrade it will be significantly better.

I have no reason not to exchange or sell them while I have a lot of reason to hold them. I don't find any tokens that I can exchange to ETH besides to BTC. There some struggle about ETH but its not hold them back to claim the spot for top crypto currency. ETH might delay there 2.0 update but we can't denied the fact that crypto holders want this to happen even it takes a while before its official launch but it should launch the phase 1 this 2020.

I think everyone who is holding back a lot of Ethereum is currently waiting for Ethereum 2.0. to be honest I am very curious about the potential price increase that could have happened to ethereum when it arrived. At the moment, I have the same reason, that there is no reason I have to sell the ethereum that I have, so I will keep it.

Everyone will choose to hold until the news of Ethereum 2.0 comes out, but it is likely that the price increase will not happen soon because generally the value of ETH currently depends entirely on Bitcoin. if look at it from the current price, it's very reasonable for ethereum to be hold because the ethreum hasn't shown good movement, ethereum position is still standing and going down in my opinion it's better to add investment to ethereum because prices are still cheap and suitable for long-term investment

But ethereum is one best currency to hold,aside from being number 2 currency this also has a future because there is another update the management is planning and that is the release of 2.0 ETH version.

aside from sure pump the Halving of Bitcoin will also effect the price in future later this year or the next.

It is trying to begin the rise for months but it keeps failing in all those times because of devs are delaying the version 2 for years. I am afraid in between time, some other coin will try to take over the spot of ethereum by providing the dapps solutions and I am not sure it is already happening or not.

In my eyes, it was best but no more, it seems. There are plenty of competitor for ethereum to take over the ranking you have mentioned. Only time will answer whether we are going to have ethereum to be performing like before or not. I am sure on one thing that ethereum may not get into the peak levels like 0.1BTC levels forever but I am sure in my scale beyond its ATH levels in USD values.

Just look at this coin as your value of assets
together with bitcoin and other project to hold.

Defi projects do not affect on the price of Ethereum. I believe they are on their own. Ethereum is no longer interesting to people. maybe I'm wrong, but I see that investors are interested in other coins and other blockchains

in terms of price, Ethereum is still not able to develop properly, even though many Defi projects are on their platform, but in the future it might be indirectly affected by the price, this is just my assumption

Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.

It is not an exaggeration to say that, it doesn't matter ICO is dead as you above said ETH is absolutely worth investing in. However, if you are short-term investors, ETH can be the wrong choice for you. That is why ETH is definitely great for long-term investing. Including me, every ETH lover is just waiting for ETH2.0 update, but it seems it will take a bit more time to see new the update.

in the past, when the glory of ico show up
a lot of project born in ethereum network and maybe thats one from many reason why the price of ethereum growing
but, personally i believe with or without ICO, ethereum will always become a good investment for long term my friend
