I'm definitely going to join prediction pool next season. Also, I hope that you or hilarious will make pool for EURO 2020. I just realised that we have Copa America this year also - maybe it can be interesting too.
I have just sent a pm to hilarious to check if he is interested. Both competitions are starting in a little more than a month and I would like to have threads up as soon as possible to judge the interest. I am thinking EURO should not be a problem but Copa America could be less interesting. My rule of thumb is that 10 players minimum are needed to have a fun pool. Are we calling this EURO 20 or EURO 21 I will be running this pool next season for sure as long as we have at least that 10 players. I'll start it immediately in this thread after sending the prizes for this year.

It's actually still called Euro 2020. I made the mistake myself but looked it up and it was after all decided to retain the original name so as not to cause confusion ha.
I always bet on Copa, and even Afcon... Good value bets always to be found on smaller countries but who recently have very competitive squads thanks to rich vlub experience in the Europe Big Fours...
We did have a euro pool as I recall or was that World Cup now? Either way definitely joining if there is enough interest!

Yeah, getting participants for EURO pool shouldn't be difficult. But we already had Copa America pool in 2019 and there was 10 players: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5146493.0. I think we can get at least 10-15 players this time. Main issue that EURO and Copa America will be played on same time, so probably Copa will get less interest because of this. But I like that this summer we will have football all day all night . We did have a euro pool as I recall or was that World Cup now? Either way definitely joining if there is enough interest!
Can't remember about EURO 2016, probably prediction pools on Bitcointalk 5 years ago wasn't thing yet. But we really had pool for World Cup in 2018, it was fun thing.

I'm in for both the Euro and Copa America pools. I'd appreciate it if someone could please share the link to the signup thread (when it's ready) here because i tend to miss some topics that are not on my watchlist. So, not to get completely off-topic here,....man fuck these Verona bums, i just skimmed through the highlights from the match real quick, so many good chances wasted, they hit the post twice, got a shady VAR decision against them to disallow a goal that was in the buildup like a minute prior to the goal, only to get a late equalizer out of nowhere and ruin my close result and give bigdaddy and Trofo 3. I hate those late goals like you can't even imagine, rant over!

Damn LTU, in my old age my memory has really really played tricks on my mind. I just looked at the Copa pool and I saw my name there, but could have sworn I don't remember much about it at all until reading through the thread. And yes of course it was World Cup, not anything else, since we only started the pool things in 2018. Those were the days, so long ago haha:) Pretty cool it lasted so long, let's see if Serie A and La Liga pools can continue to grow in popularity too!

I would also like to join Euro cup pool, not so sure about Copa america, it is short competition, and I do not watch south american football that much back to topic, Cagliari is on fire, point from Naples to go out from relegation zone, hopefully, Serie A will be played on Sardinia next season as well otherwise, I would have to join Serie B pool next season

We almost had btts in all of today's matches, but Roma's inability to score ruined it. Well, they did have three goals ruled out for offside, as well as a penalty missed by Dzeko, so it's not like they didn't have chances. I kinda dig the result though, i want to see Sassuolo in Europa League next season, with that loss it's just 2 points. Too bad they couldn't take advantage of a man up early on against Atalanta. Why was Ranaldo to score today with such low odds, 1.50ish? Shouldn't it be at least 1.70 or more, idk...

Guys, what do you think about Mourinho in Roma? For me this move is very unexpected and it will be another reason to watch Serie A next season. I think that he have even less chance to win something with Roma than in Spurs. Expectations is big, but c'mon, Roma is miles away from Inter, Juventus. Milan, Atalanta or Napoli is also way better than them. And it's possible that they won't even qualify to UEFA competition next season. Even if they will, it will be just third tier competition called UEFA Conference League. Winning this trophy wouldn't very prestigious and big thing. Also, it's interesting that Mkhitaryan had conflicts with Mou back in MU times. Wouldn't be surprised if he will leave Roma summer. Mourinho got 3 year contract, but I would give him max 1.5 year until he will be sacked.

Guys, what do you think about Mourinho in Roma?
I don't like Mou anywhere He is always trying to play same defensive tactics and pulling some shenanigans in locker room to "galvanize" the team on the expense of one or two players. He is not building the team for the future, he is only good to squeeze the maximum out of his players in season or two. Granted he had some excellent results in the past, but I would not like to see him in any top club. If he was happy with fraction of what he makes now I am thinking he would do wonders with clubs like Burnley in PL, Verona in Seria A and Getafe in Spain.... You get my meaning, smaller club where players would give 120% for him and wouldn't mind playing total defense.

Just three rounds and two matches left, the battle for the third (and why not the second) about to get heated, pretty crowded within just a few points, but Harkorede is making ground on everyone so far. I'm glad Cagliari got all three points, ensuring their stay in Serie A next season (given their remaining fixtures), i don't care about Benevento and Spezia, they can go back to Serie B, who cares... Verona and Torino with two late goals saved a nice ticket for me, and also gave me an exact score, not bad, i always complain about those late ones, it's nice to be on the luck receiving end for a change. I have a few tips for Roma and Crotone, Simy Anytime scorer, and Roma to win + btts, seem like decent options. What are your thoughts on the evening derby between Juventus and Milan? Oddsmakers and logic point to Juventus, i see it as a draw but my heart says Milan. I guess i will just close my eyes and take a random guess in the end.

+1 tough season, but seems that we will secure another one, not to mention that Cagliari joined Sorare last week, and it would be a waste to buy those players if they plan to play in Serie B next season for Juventus, I will go with their win, could not help to notice that Milan is not that good lately (not watching them, must admit, but their results are next to nothing) it is a pity that season is coming to an end, I just started to be better in the pool, well, there is always next year

Quite the opposite for me in this round. My plan was to attack 2nd position and now I am not even "secure" on the third. I guess that kind of round has to happen sooner or latter since I was quite solid in the last couple of months. There sure is next year, to paraphrase Delboy "This time next year we will have first 2 positions in the pool"

Who got the exact score on Juve/Milan derby? ...and i thought Juventus' situation couldn't get any worse than it already was, Kings of Europa League next season haha, competing with farmers and shoemakers. What a beautiful Sunday evening man, i couldn't be happier right now... (watch us lose to Torino midweek lmao).

Ronaldo must be feeling right pissed about where they are now. Continue to play like this though and they might not even get Europa, Lazio for sure would deserve it far more than them. Or Roma the big surprise if they manage to sneak into that spot haha;) Gotta get past Inter tonight first though. Mou must be licking his chops. Worth 4.7?

Serie A actually saved my acca last night, I went quite big on HT wins from most of the favourites, and then did something idiotic and parlayed it with an "easy" exotic league game. But got my bet back as insurance.
Juventus sweating with 2 games to go I guess now, I don't see any of the top 4 losing any games now that they probably all want Juve to NOT qualify haha. Will be a cool mix of forward-thinking teams in UCL next season, eh guys?

Juventus still has quite a fixtures at hand themselves, they're playing Inter Milan, and Inter doesn't seem to care one bit about winning the league already, they're still going about every game like business as usual. If Juventus can win both their fixtures then, they'll have a good chance because Atalanta vs AC Milan would face each other in the last round.

Good for Inter, but I totally get it. You've got no more pressure, and just want to set more records and more goals and more playing time. Not sure about the rules in Serie A but will be surprised if Conte doesn't let fringe players get more game time just to get a winner's medal. It's only 2 games left so it wouldn't have mattered to most in EPL where you need 5 games, but maybe it's different in Serie A? Forgot also that Atalanta/Milan meet again, but even if Milan loses, they're still above Juve on H2H, so really it's Napoli that Juve need to at least draw once, so Juve yeah, just need to win everything left and hope pray for a slip.

You sure about that? I remember that season when Leicster lifted the trophy, they just bought Kramaric and he was far away from first team and quickly went on a loan deal. I always thought he got the medal for that anyway. He played maybe 3 games max, probably even less. I was surprised how well Inter played after winning the league, usually there is few strange results in situations like that. At least BTTS kept on coming so my bets were winning anyway.
Had an awful week in the pool and all players around me did well. Time to get serious fast or loose my paid position

Time to get serious fast or loose my paid position I also had an average week and slipped a position and it's seem BigDaddy is sealing is 2nd position and as well as reach in on Hoody Hoo in the top spot. It's probably going to get really trick in the last two (thinking of a few upsets) to stand a chance or hoping to get the exact scores.

I actually only knew last season when Liverpool won the league (yeah, yeah I know, but who needs to know things when their team doesn't win, right?). Klopp complained quite a lot because he apparently also didn't know about the rules that you need to play 5 games or you don't get the winners' medal. I don't know who didn't get it though because of the rule. This confirms it: https://www.premierleague.com/news/1608983
