Just made a small bet on AC Milan vs Fiorentina. No goals scored so far but I guess the bet is pretty safe. We still have more than half of the game left and plenty of time to get one nice goal against Fiorentina.

Watching the first half of this game was a punishment for the eyes. Nothing happened, I don’t even know if the highlights will have anything to show from that half. The second half was the complete opposite, and Milan definitely deserved the win. Leão’s first goal was a stunner you need to be extremely accurate to score a goal like that. It wasn’t a powerful shot, but it was surgically precise.

What kind of idiotic round is this? Is this even legal?  11 goals in 10 games is nonsense.
When Milan, instead of winning confidently and topping the table, started losing at home to Fiorentina, I got nervous. Thank God, 3 goals out of 11 came in this game, Milan won 2-1 and I won my multiple bet.
Now the table looks like the envy of all tournaments - nothing is clear at the top or at the bottom.

I would blame the national team games for the slowdown, but neither Spain, nor England, nor the Bundesliga, have experienced such a decline in scoring, so yes, these are historical traditions. And unfortunately, it must be stated that now in Serie A there is no top club that can be called "reliable", the league is deteriorating. Another bad round for me in this pool. But when i check the leaderboard i saw we are all very close to each other.

Milan the other day was a disaster against the weakest team on the league Pisa, they found the draw in the very last minute with a very lucky shot from outside the box, but they were really bad, i dont know why Milan plays so good against the big teams and so bad against the weak ones.

This season I feel all the leagues have a bit less goals in them, PL for sure. Maybe Bundesliga is still up to playing attacking football with Bayern leading the way and Dortumnd, Leipzig, Leverkusen, Eintracht....all more than ready to score big on their day.

There's no sense at all that this figure is close to reality (although I believe it is). Yesterday, there was exactly one goal per game. Before that, the entire round had 1.1 goals in 10 games. Today, Sassuolo raised the bar (unexpectedly, since the opponent was Atalanta), but on average, watching a Serie A game feels like a very high risk of seeing a 0-0 draw.
After the exploits of the interim leader (Milan but other teams too), cash bets here also look like suicide.

2.25 goals per game sounds a little too high, because every time I watch an Italian match, it rarely goes over 2 goals — except for the 4–4 between Inter and Juve, which was the only one I’ve seen with more than 2 goals. Italian football has never been known for high scoring, but rather for the extensive tactical analysis in every game. The days of seeing super attractive football in Italy are long gone.

At that time football wasn't as accessible as it is now and I remember growing up I was living for those bits I could get. And from club football it was one champions league game and one serie A / La Liga game. Usually it was La Liga but during Boban time in Milan it was mostly Milan.

Then there were Wold Cups / Euros where we could watch every game. And when we were super happy watching anything. Nowadays if it isn't CL final or Liverpool vs. City for the title I am not guaranteeing I am watching it. It is more I am watching whatever it is on when I have time while previously I was organizing daily schedule to catch the games.

Everyone would be anxiously waiting for the weekend match, and we’d all gather at a friend’s house to watch together. We also had the local football studio that showed highlights from the best games in the top five leagues. Those were the good times. Now, we’re lucky to have access to everything, but it’s taken away some of the magic from those precious moments.

World Cup / Euros still have that magic for me I love watching them all, but with the new 48-country format, things are getting a little out of control, and they’ve started to lose that spark a bit.
