About Italian football, so many things. Being less and less competitive in Europe and having the least amount of money is one thing,,, you can see and hear Italian stadiums are breaking down, academies are getting bankrupt, and teams are selling out, many teams do not even own their own stadium in Italy, San Siro, Stadio Maradona, these big teams can't even afford to buy or manage their own playing home  

Then talking about foreign owners,,, half of Serie A has US ownership, Como is the biggest example of how Serie A clubs is just a playtoy for the rich, changed ownership and image multiple times, now owned by Indonesia, like there is so many things to make you lose passion

Some people do not care, Premier League is even more foreign owned but those fans do not really care   And at least in Premier League usually US is not the controlling owner.

Then in that case the same thing is happening to a lesser attempt in La Liga, sure we still own our stadium but it has ugly Spotify name now I still hate it with all my core. We sold all the rights for years and years ahead just to try and get financially more stable.

One big house of cards that will fall down at some point.

But I didn't know the situation was this bad in Italy, when the government owns everything, they will soon start to own the FA and then lose games to each other when ownership wants certain clubs to win.

What do you mean by demographics? Italy is the fifth-largest country in Europe by population, if you exclude Russia, it's fourth. The ironic thing is the whole reason Italy league is majority owned by government and foreign owners is this economic situation so in this way I agree with you,,, it can only get worse, not better. Well if you remember EURO they had some great players like Federico Chiesa but he got injured and then never recovered. For now we are seeing hope in talents like Camarda, Esposito, and I hope Liverpool's young defender also grows, he plus Scalvini. But are they proven? Not yet,,, so you may have a point.

The people in Italy must be listening to all of us talking shit about them,,, 5 goals from 'that team' who is saving the face of Italy in Europe every time, but they can score 5 goals every game and I cannot change my mind about the situation.

All I can say in closing about this and moving on to Serie A is,,, Gattuso left the national team. Was he the problem? I do not think so,,, but I guess he was not the answer either.
