For me it is healthier for the big organizers like mafia to also have other diverse organizers.
This is called a syndicate. It is always healthy.. for some

To be honest, I don't feel Superbru has much potential. It's low effort, low traction, low benefit for the sponsor.
It was where we started from but I feel that the gambling community outgrew it.
The reason why people want it is because it is high ROI - with sponsorships, freebets etc.
What the people need to understand is that you can't milk the cow indefinitely - you need to give something back.
There are many good organizers now trying good and different things - but if the community does not support by joining, paying buy-ins and providing traffic on threads, it won't last forever.
BTT's gambling community has a big opportunity to have a continuous inflow of good contests with really high sponsorships - but if there's 1000 people looking for a freebet and 30 willing to pay the buy-ins, it won't last because it isn't sustainable.
Competition of any kind is what helps us grow - but it's not competition that is stopping us. It's the spoiled Regular Joes asking for a free lunch day after day.
Lol yeah syndicate suits the situation and actually I think we agree on all the points.
> I also don't like Superbru. Actually to be honest I even hate it lol. The perfect replacement is something like CL pool IMO. It is still requiring people to submit picks on their favorite pool but its not dumb 2-1 picks for everything and hope you get the right score. And it is not easy to use chatgpt to submit, you still have to strategize. It is also high ROI like Superbru but you really feel like you have opportunities every round and you have to watch it and not guess.
> BSFL is perfect all rounder sports for all year round because it fits every competition and madeup sports like DOTA lol which honestly if you make a pool just for dota or ice hockey nobody is gonna join ever.
> But totally agree that freeloaders will kill the forum and sponsorships. We must remember how it all started. And I think this is the big point that matters. The first pools that I joined had volunteer people organizing it and even IIRC @buway sponsored the first EPL and CL pool. Sponsors didn't wanna give money at all until they saw that actually there was something here and they could benefit from it. So I feel like we need more people and organizers AND sponsors that make something special from just I don't know how to call it. Plain forum special sauce I guess

This is why I really do my best to join other 'small pools' with different people. Cricket, or whatever, F1 lol
Especially if I see different sponsors and organizers. You will see different users. Something for sponsors to understand gives them something back and something that gives the forum a reason for people to come and make accounts and contribute.
> I totally agree and REALLY HATE the freeloaders and shitposters. Its very painful to see that many of them are sigcampers for big names like Stake. Sorry I have to keep calling it out. These are the ultimate leeches

But point is All this is needed and creates one big ecosystem.
Mafia needs them

Believe it or not. And we need them as much as we need mafia

So in essence I agree that some small pools must die, but only because they are actually same players and no extra value to the forum. This is why I suggested like some of the smaller ones find a way to combine and do something totally different to Superbru. I mean look at this La Liga thread we need to talk off topic for it to be active

And I only post here because I follow it, I am guilty of not really posting anything in Serie A for example because I have almost zero interest, bad me

Edit: As I was posting this I saw @Trofo's post and that is perfect example if everything rely on one sponsor (SB).
There is also trust component in these pools. We should all be more diligent and reward organizers for escrowing funds and making payments on time. That's bare minimum since I don't think anyone is getting paid for organizing Superbru pools. So in my case that means taking risk for 60+ mBTC this season which if they go missing I have to pay from my own pocket, while not getting paid for it. Really doesn't sound like a great deal right?
On the other hand these pools helped me in the past for sure, I wouldn't be part of cro2 and having this many other promos if there wasn't for the pools in the begging.
I am 100% agreement here. We must not be selfish. I am very happy to add a 10% fee on my pool fees to be paid to the escrows/organizers like mafia. We ask them to take care of so much money, and take care of all the organization, and then sometimes we get mad at them for making mistakes. We need to bring this up for next season. Including for BSFL. Maybe make the fee voluntary (which I will happy to pay) to test it out.
I've seen at times people complain in BSFL when you make a mistake, or other pools also and I'm like wtf lol Not that paying the extra small fee is solving all the mistakes but it will make it a bit better for the organizer.
I mean honestly if you get 30 people in the pool and fee is 1mbtc this means organizer only gets 3mbtc but it has to start somewhere.
