Here in Argentina im saying to all my relatives, the holidays are over, Germany is gonna be back for 2030 under Klopp i feel like they are gonna be a machine again and we all are gonna suffer it.
About Italy which is another national team which is doing horrible right now i dont have that high hope unless they put a really good coach who can find players  since i see in Italy a lack of raw material to be honest.

Pirlo was great player but I don't like giving such big functions to people without actual coaching references. Few of them work out well but most of them just crash and burn. Why taking such a risk when there are other options?

Compare what weight Zidane or Klopp have and then Italy picks Pirlo. Doesn't looks like best option for a team that in deep crisis. Looks that they want to miss another World Cup, though I don't believe that Pirlo willstay for whole this 4 year period there.
And @slaman, I don't see Pep working with national teams, at leat now.

Portugal were not the better team in that Nations League final. Spain was the better team. Spain dominated that game just like they dominated France. They just couldn't score their chances and allowed Portugal to always equalise.

OK, that final didn't stuck in my meory, I don't remember how it was exactly, but by saying that Portugal were better I didn't mean that they played much better or something - they were better on penalties.

Imagine what the statistics of attackers will be in the future with such a number of teams, current records will be the starting level.

And by the way, that's why I'm a supporter of the Super League. Football (which is a business) should be run by those who actually do business (the clubs themselves), not by bastard officials. But naturally I would not want the kind of ugliness that the USA is demonstrating.

Totally agree, great players don't necessarily become great managers, and we see plenty of that already, track record is important, there's a reason why you have certifications for such jobs.

Yeah I saw what he said also, same as Klopp after he left England, too low energy, not right now. Hope Klopp can wait 2 years for Pep. Those 2 need to rematch at international level

I just comment that in other thread, i feel like Pirlo is not a gret coaach to be honest. His few appeareance as a coach were not so good, so for me the Italian federation keeps making the same mistakes, they are in the same path and i dont know if they are gonna reach good results, i hope the best for them but the reality is not good.

So guys, are we going to have pool this year? La Liga season begins already on Saturday, so, there is less than week remaining. Yeah, I know that some people here already got bored with prediction pools and probably there was already a bit too many active pools. But it would be nice to have pools for La Liga and Serie A at least, I already hardly imagine football season without it.

I am still hoping for last minute sponsorship. Not the way I prefer to work. As you all know we were always live even before Superbru created the pools.
Now the question opens up, are you interested to play without sponsorship?
This is question for all and I would like all of you to answer truthfully and write what you think perfect buy in would be without sponsorship and with usual 2k sponsorship.

Good thing with these pools is that we can start even last day. You all just pick the results, and when fee is paid I accept you in the league and everyone has all the points.

As for buy-in without sponsorship, I have indicated the minimum limits in case there are several pools. If it will be one pool instead of 4-5 which were last season, then I am ready for 1-1.5 mbts. One pool without sponsorship will be quite good with such a buy-in, but of course there is a problem that then there will be 6-10 max participants in it only. I could be wrong, let's see what other participants think.

As far as I understand, the paid ones now include the Champions League, RtG, Bundesliga (+ a few fantasy ones that I don’t count haha) and one free pool would be a good addition.

the number of participants doesn't matter to me, i'd have just as much fun playing in a non-sponsored 10-team pool as i would in a sponsored one with 20+ teams.

That 0.5 mbtc is pretty ideal without sponsors... this is also the total prize pool will be small, at low cost could it be more participation?

Can we also assume the same answers is for Serie A? I prefer that league instead of La Liga but that is just personal history,,, in general I would play all of the main ones (England, Spain, Italy). Only not German and French leagues as I feel those are kind of 1 team leagues.

I write extra info because the fee I am willing to pay is dependent on how many pools.

I was hoping to join this pool this season to win some money and participate in SuperBru since the EPL pool is at the edge of collapsing  I don't watch too many Laliga games but I bet on them more often to know every team's strengths on paper.

To be frank, free bets or other types of exclusive promotions from the sponsors usually make these pools attractive. We always get low funds from the sponsors in La Liga pool with a smaller number of participants. Without any sponsorship, the number of participants will be lower than we had in previous seasons. It will make the prize pool and rewards less appealing. I hope you will manage to get a sponsor for this pool.

Yeah, free bets makes pools very attractive. Even if you don't fight for prize spots anymore, you still have something to fight for for whole season.

Shouldn't the buy in fee be higher for non sponsored pools rather than the other way around? Without sponsorship we need a higher buy in to build a respectable prize pool. With a sponsor inflating the pot a lower buy in makes sense. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong but that seems logical to me.

On another note, if we're struggling to secure sponsors for major leagues like Serie A and La Liga, Ligue 1 and EFL pools are probably out of the question this season. That might be a blessing in disguise, those were the two I least enjoyed picking for, even though my degenerate self would still join them if available, not having them forces me out of pools I don't particularly enjoy. The main leagues however would be a real shame to miss out on. I'll join those whether they are sponsored or not. As for free bets, I rarely win them anyway so lacking a sponsor doesn't change much on that front.
