So until block 7k its only 1000 per block?
I mean i understand 0-250 no reward to avoid insta miner ect..
But being an early miner has to have its advantage and your taking it off with the low block reward in the early 7k blocks.
Actually, 1k block reward is the highest it will be so early miners are given an advantage. After block 7000 rewards max out at about 890 and decrease slowly according to diff. I will update PLC numbers and send emails shortly.

I've updated the Pre-Launch Coin Investor totals and sent out emails to all the new comers. You can view totals and details on the spreadsheet linked below. BTC total as of this post is 4.89 so there are lots of coins up for grabs still! Click the above link to view shares of the Pre-Launch Coins. If you've sent BTC and don't see your PLC ID number listed, or you haven't recieved a PLC ID number, please send us a PM and we will help you out!

Good purpose. But here is a question, can u answuer me? U want to clean water by wasting hardware and electric energy? Is this a right way? I think it's better to change POS+POW to pure POS

Actually, no. Diff retarget per block starts around block 1000 as it requires previous blocks to help correctly calculate diff change.

An impressive launch, Zach.
One concern, however. Your PLC might run into compliance issues wrt foreign funding of a 501(c)(3) and receipt of sums of more than $10,000. I don't know nearly enough to advise on the matter, but please look into it.

After mining an X11 coin this past week, I must say it would be the icing on the cake if this used the x11 algorithm.

Why would you put a massive countdown on the 'official' page http://www.cleanwatercoin.org if it wasn't the official launch time?
I will be extremely disappointed if the countdown turns out to be a countdown to another failed launch.
Devs - please make clear what the EXACT time of the launch will be as I'm sure we will all like to have our miners ready to go.
And please, don't say you can't give an exact time or give any excuses - we have heard it all before from many failcoins. Give a launch time and stick to it.

Bitcointalk : Block Rewards: From block 51-250 payout will be 0 to ensure a fair launch 1,000 from block 251-7000 (20,000)(1/√(Difficulty+500)) from block 7001-250,000 (15,000)(1/√(Difficulty+500)) from block 250,001-500,000 (10,000)(1/√(Difficulty+500)) from block 500,001+
official pool : Block Rewards: 1,000 from block 2-7000 (20,000)(1/√(Difficulty+500)) from block 7001-250,000 (15,000)(1/√(Difficulty+500)) from block 250,001-500,000 (10,000)(1/√(Difficulty+500)) from block 500,001+
no matter which one is right, but you should update this , and no more same mistake , i am serious.
