Paris Saint Germain are priced at 1.14 to win the league; even though they’ve had a poor start, I think they’re inevitably the favourites. Every now and then there’s a surprise in this league, but these are sporadic occurrences that the Parisian side know how to deal with. I think they’re focusing heavily on the Champions League at the moment because they want to win it for the third time in a row, so it’s possible they might neglect the domestic league, but they’ve got some top-class players on the bench too, so in the end I think they’ll win it anyway.
So, here’s a question for you: is it worth taking a risk for odds of 1.14? Personally, I wouldn't place a bet at those odds; I think they are far too low. It offers a 14% return, but an upset at the end of the season could mean your money goes down the drain. It makes more sense to bet on a Paris Saint-Germain league match at least that way, you don't have to wait until the end of the season.

This is an odd that's worth it to be risked on, PSG start to the season is bad, teams haven taken the chance to get points from PSG, this is BTTS which less risky, a goal from Le Mans will you this for you as PSG will score no matter what. Le Mans through all the matches they have played in the league this season, they have scored in all of them which might be a hint of this match likely ending up in BTTS. Club matches has been paused for some weeks, it will slow some key players because of the long time since these players represented their countries, they will not all perform at maximum capacity, the coach will bench some and some won't play at all till the champions league.
But many times precisely those matches on which someone gives a predictable statistic, in the end turn out to be the worst surprise. Because exactly these kinds of things are among the things that happen most often. When a team scores in all the games, they get to the ones you decide to bet on, and then they don't score anymore.

I think even their next match against Le Mans could give you that opportunity, because the odds on PSG to win are already around 1.10 and continue to drop. If you don’t rush into the bet and are willing to wait in case PSG don’t score in the opening minutes, I think you could easily get odds similar to the ones you mentioned. I have almost no doubt that PSG can beat a team like this at home.

Yes, PSG has not been consistent this season, they conceded in almost all their games, only one match they played without conceding a single goal, which means they are not too strong defensively this season, and because of that reason, risking this game is possible to take advantage of this big odd.
Gambling is all about risk taking; its not for PSG to lose the match, its just to concede one goal on the match; they can win the match easily but they cant keep clean sheet simply because they have almost all their best players active in their international duties, while these small teams have limited number of people playing for their national team. They will try to score in the match.
Paris Saint-Germain suffered something different compared to last year, from the moment they started playing differently at the start of the championship, because they conceded some silly goals which immediately created tension and fear in Paris Saint-Germain and which gave the opponent a lot of confidence that they could also score against the Parisians.

I have different answer for this, unlike what I said in the German League Bundesliga Prediction Thread. I'm not sure Paris Saint-Germain will let Le Mans score in this match, with 2 strong reasons:
(1) Le Mans is a team whose quality in the league remains unproven, as they were only promoted this season. (2) Unlike Como which was one of the teams promoted to Serie A a few seasons ago, Le Mans squad is considered weak.
Choosing 'Yes' for this match seems like nothing but a waste of time & money.
Obviously the chances that Paris Saint-Germain will be able to win and restore confidence in their team and their fans are higher than the possibility that they will be able to draw. However, this does not mean that a sneak chance from the oppnents cannot lead to a goal and a possible match with goals from both teams. But this is always something strange to speculate about and not something guaranteed.

That's absolutely a considerable option because a 1.14 odds would generate little ROI and on the event of a loss, it would hurt the more than betting on bigger odds. In many occasions, I have lost bets on 1.03, 1.06, 1.19 odds and the rest and it was even more painful because these are odds that were the most likely to play. So I would rather place a bet on a higher odds that would likely play than playing bets on a team to win with a 1.14 odd, that's even more risky.

Against Le Mans which is a weak team, I have no doubt at all that this match will be won by PSG. The reason is very clear: this match is being played at their home stadium and PSG also doesn't want to drop any more points considering they are already 5 points behind Monaco. What makes me even more confident that PSG will win this match easily is that after facing Le Mans they will play Manchester City in the UCL. Of course the match against Le Mans is the one they most need to win so that the team's confidence will increase when facing Man City.

But on the other hand, Enrique could rotate the squad again because the Ligue 1 opponent is weak, while City are clearly a much tougher opponent. So I probably wouldn’t place a bet based on this factor until I see what kind of lineup Enrique decides to field for this game. For now I think everything will depend on Monaco, If they win their next games, PSG won't be able to narrow the gap at all.

PSG have always had an issue with conceding goals but winning was always in the picture. This season might not look like a good season considering how they started but there's still a lot more that could happen before the end of the season. Their next game is against Le Mans FC and that should be a clean win for them, maybe a clean sheet in that match.
I believe that this Paris Saint-Germain match after the national break will certainly be something that will give us a certain direction of how the continued Paris Saint-Germain championship can proceed. Because after a very disappointing start i doubt that Paris Saint-Germain will want to continue on that line of performances but rather that they will want to shake up this championship.

Monaco's has a business model that is their best young talents and I am sure they already have their eyes glued on the winter transfer window to make some cool money rather than look towards the trophy. The moment one of their young player drops a few world-class performances, without any form of delay, their agents start to look for a nice paycheck for either PSG of one interested premier league clubs. The silent motto is, Money over trophy.
Monaco actually has a modus operandi similar to that of Borussia Dortmund, which tends to look for talents, bring them to their maximum level and once they explode, sell them to the highest bidder, so as to make the club profit, even if by doing so they themselves lose the possibility of using them and perhaps finding themselves against them.

Indeed, Paris Saint-Germain needs to build upward momentum now. If they want to win the title, they must avoid repeating the errors made at the start of the season in the French league. The period following the international break could serve as a crucial turning point for this. Paris Saint-Germain must regain the image of a formidable team fully focused on winning every match and put those past league failures behind them.

We cannot criticize this approach, as one of a team's goals should be to increase its financial resources. Not every team has a wealthy owner like Paris Saint-Germain. If you develop good players and sell them for high prices, you boost the team's economic strength. It is perfectly natural for Monaco to do this every team in France wants to make money.

It is perfectly natural for Monaco players to want to transfer to PSG, as PSG is a team defined by success, and players naturally desire success. I would really love to see Monaco win the championship this year because I, too, am tired of seeing the same team win it over and over. However, we know that this isn't something that happens simply because we want it to; the team that plays the best will take the title. Last year, Lens gave PSG a real run for their money, and perhaps this year it will be Monaco. Regardless of which team it is, I hope we get to see a new champion this year.
Exactly as happened to the young talent from Monaco who went to Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer market Akliush, there are many other young players who aim and incessantly try to demonstrate their abilities to get called up by high-level teams like Paris Saint-Germain. But until other mid-level teams change their mentality and raise the bar, this will be more than common.

I've thought about what you just said and i think you're right, i once talked about clubs who sold their young talented players to the big clubs just to just cashout money. We football fans always complained about small clubs selling their players to the big clubs, and we've forgotten that without selling some of their players they won't be able to pay those players and provide all their necessary needs. For a club who's not winning trophies the only way they can get more money is by selling their players, if Monaco chooses to develop players and later sell them i don't think is necessary for fans to criticise them.

PSG considering that they will be also preparing for the Champions League fixtures away from home against Manchester City.
Thanks for reminding me about PSG's schedule after the match against Le Mans. It makes me even more convinced that BTTS is a real possibility. (1) Le Mans is a team whose quality in the league remains unproven, as they were only promoted this season. (2) Unlike Como which was one of the teams promoted to Serie A a few seasons ago, Le Mans squad is considered weak.
Your reasoning is completely understandable. However, after being reminded by @Oluwa-btc, I think we should also take a few things into consideration. I have already explained the first point, while the second issue was explained by the user I mentioned. In addition, Ferran Torres and Hakimi are currently dealing with injuries as well. Of course, Enrique will have to consider several factors, especially with a more important match coming up that will likely be given greater priority. So, in conclusion, I think it would be better to wait until the starting lineups are announced before the match and then decide whether to take the yes or no option.

They'll likely just end up winning that title in the end. Even if they get off to a bad start, it doesn't really matter since they have better squad depth, and Enrique should be able to improve their form, so they'll just be catching up. But with such low odds, I don't think it's worth betting on them.

It seems PSG has found their best form again if you look at their last three matches. PSG defeated Brest and Marseille in their last two match. Although they managed to win, margin were very narrow, 1-0 and 2-1 respectively. Consequently it cannot yet be said that team has fully regained its form. Nevertheless Paris is unlikely to face major difficulties in winning their upcoming match against Le Mans. Biggest challenge for Enrique this season is successfully navigating opening round of Champion League. They are set to face renowned team such as City, Barca, Roma, Villarreal, Como and Villa. Since Champions League is team's primary objective, there is possibility of seeing inconsistent performances in several Ligue 1 match. If teams like Monaco and Lyon can maintain consistent form then path to securing top spot in league table will become increasingly difficult.

Statistics doesn’t really guarantee anything when you’re gambling, it’s either you predict and it works for you or you predict and it doesn’t work for you, either way you have to accept the outcome but not because someone felt they’ve had a good prediction because of constantly watching statistics of a particular team and then they have to win it doesn’t work that way, sometimes when you watch the statistics you get confused because of too many variables and results in past games, gambling sometimes can be unpredictable that nothing is guaranteed. Let me digress, there are Coaches and Managers who uses statistics in so many things, some of the coaches studies statistics of a particular player they want to sign, which still doesn’t guarantee that the player is going to come good when they get signed up, and some coaches uses statistics to analyze a particular team they’re playing against to try and understand the playing style, it still doesn’t guarantee anything that they’re going to get a good result from the game after using statistics to analyze the opponent, which still doesn’t guarantee anything with watching statistics.

It’s probably better to bet on one of PSG’s upcoming matches and potentially get even higher odds by trying to place a live bet. Hope we all still recall how Strasbourg held PSG with the exact same squad to an unexpected draw just recently. So I don't think having almost no doubt for an easy home victory will be the correct statement. Remember the mentality of small clubs once they face the reigning champions that can be rattled by a club similar to their, they get that zeal to play without fear and they will apply that physical intensity. This season so far, the French league as been somewhat unpredictable so no fixture can be treated as a sure win right now.

They'll likely just end up winning that title in the end. Even if they get off to a bad start, it doesn't really matter since they have better squad depth, and Enrique should be able to improve their form, so they'll just be catching up. But with such low odds, I don't think it's worth betting on them. I believe PSG will still end up winning the league. Last season they had injury issues which made Lens to become a major rival to them but when they bounced back Lens was no were to be found around the league table. PSG has started poorly this season but they have the best squad which is able to bounce back anytime to defeat their rivals and to give time them the league which is more like a birth right to them. Luis Enrique knows that his team is good just that some of the players are not yet in good form but give him a little time you will see how he will still use the same players to win the champions League for the third time because his main focus will be to equal the record of Real Madrid in the champions League. The league is for PSG.
