Instead of acting without a plan, making the right moves with a planned move would be the best thing PSG could do. Lyon so far was quite active this summer because they have already to buy some players which mostly some of defender players such as Duje Caleta-Car, Abner Vinícius and Moussa Niakhate and i can see it that one of the weaknesses Lyon is their defensive lines because they have conceded 55 goals during this season so Pierre Sage want to more concern about these lines besides those players above Lyon also has successfully to permanent Mama Balde status from Troyes and after seeing their behavior i am quite excited to see Lyon performance next season because they potentially can fight to compete for champion league zone or top 4

I agree, usually Lens is having their spot in Ligue 2 where they were doing decent job, but they have good luck with at the end of the 2020 which season was early ended by LFP Lens were at the second spot and having promotion due to this early end of the season, but now they are doing good job with having spot in last year's Champions League and now having end in top 7 mean they need to be more stable which is possible just because of having good finances which is currently problem of many French clubs which are suffering badly.

It's actually a very bad move for clubs to try spend hugely on players just to improve the quality of their squad when the amount of money spent is somehow above their financial strength. It is one of the reasons you see a club go from one of the best to become one of the worst teams because immediately they fail to win major trophies that'll attract big investors to collaborate or sign endorsement deals with the club, you see them offloading the high profile players because of their high wages.
Lens last two seasons surprised many of us with their performance in the French league though they failed to replicate same feat in the just concluded season but that doesn't mean they should try signing high profile players in other to compete with the big teams in the French league when they do not have the financial strength to do that. Since promotion to Ligue 1 in the 2020/2021 season, Lens have actually been able to compete in Ligue 1, they were able to finish in 7th place in their first season and they continued that in their second season. IN the previous season they even finished in second place, they performed quite well at the start of the season, but as usual with teams in Ligue 1, they were inconsistent so they couldn't get better results. Actually, last season I was quite hopeful that Lens would be able to compete like they did in the previous season, but unfortunately they had to decline.

Last season they could only finish in 7th place again because their performance dropped drastically from their performance in the previous season. I wasn't surprised by this even though at the beginning I put quite a lot of trust in them. Consistency is a problem that we often see from several teams, one of which is Lens. Next season they might be even better and it is also possible that they will decline more than last season.
