Lyon vs Strasbourg

Lyon started like last season at the beginning of the season always starting with a very bad performance. Indeed, in terms of H2H, Lyon should be more favored than Strasbourg. But I will not only believe in the last 5 meetings of these two teams but also look at their previous performances which were only able to get 2 defeats that Lyon got.
Strasbourg is much better at the moment with the success of getting 3 points from Rennes and being able to get 1 point from the away match against Montpellier. This is the reason I bet on Strasbourg victory to try to get an advantage from this match. The temporary score Strasbourg managed to get 1 score and Lyon still couldn't score.
From ball possession, Lyon controlled the ball more often but had difficulty in making attacks. But on the other hand, Strasbourg had lower ball possession but had surprising attacks when Lyon defense started to lose focus.

It prevents a good teamwork at a high rate.    Since he left, the team have been destroying every single opponent they face. Now when it comes to the Champions League... Their fixture is quite tough. However I still expect last 16 from PSG. Because they will probably play way better than Mbappe era. 

I have said in previous posts, even without Mbappe, PSG is still a strong team in the French League. In addition, Enrique can play a more solid teamwork without Mbappe always being the executor. Now, every player can score goals if they have the chance. Talking about PSG players, last season Barcola's performance was up and down. Well, interestingly in the two matches they have just played, their performance is quite good. He has scored three goals, even though he is not the player who is the finisher. In addition, Dembele's role is getting more mature and he is always a core player in Luis Enrique's squad. PSG isn't that in a bad shape after Kylian Mbappé's exit from the club as their awesome performance can be seen just as the season begun, scoring 10 goals in just 2 games means they've got players that can score just like Kylian Mbappé and it even looks like the existence of Kylian Mbappé in PSG hid some talents of players that would have been visible if not for Mbappé's presence. With how PSG Started the season there's no doubt they can still retain the league title this season.

As for the Champions League it isn't still gonna be easy for PSG because looking at the format of the champions league and the teams they're to face it's quite difficult to say that PSG will have a head way in the champions league because with their current squad now I think they can't make much positive impact in the champions league as they can only succeed in the Ligue 1

I look at Real Madrid and they are far from the performance expected from Mbappé. There were also matches in Paris Saint-Germain during Mbappé's term where performances were far from expectations. I wonder if Mbappé thinks more about himself than the team. Paris Saint-Germain is by far the highest quality team in the French League right now. Real Madrid, on the other hand, has only collected five points in the Spanish league and Mbappé has not contributed anything. I think these are in Mbappé's destiny. Paris Saint-Germain may reach the finals of the Champions League this year, how do we know?

PSG at the beginning of this season was more focused even if you look at their game now actually I think it's much better because it doesn't just rely on one person as the center of attack and the proof that in 2 matches they got full points with 10 goals and only conceded 1 goal is certainly a very good thing shown by Enrique to date.

But on the other hand, we also cannot take this as a benchmark that they are more overall because after all PSG has only played 2 matches and that means Enrique cannot be complacent here because his task is still very heavy until the end of the season to prove that they can despite not having a striker of Mbappe's caliber this season.

Kylian Mbappe having been the top scorer in the French league in the last six seasons so I understand it when so many people thought that Paris Saint Germaine are gonna struggle without him in the team. However, I never doubted the strength of the Paris Saint Germaine team neither did I think they'll struggle to continue their dominance of the French league in absence of Kylian Mbappe. With or without Kylian Mbappe, Paris Saint Germaine posseses the strongest squad in the league so I expect them to continue their dominance in the league. That being said, I'm worried if they'll be able to continue their impressive start to the season when the UEFA Champions League competition returns next month

He has been of a huge as any to Madrid, it even appears he's having a better time at Madrid than he did when he was at PSG, he's style of play for me is looking even better and has got some more coordination and maturity which further makes it vision driven, when Madrid got him, they obviously knew he was the best suit for the position of the striker of which he's fitting in so well already although he's yet to pit out a very outstanding performance in the la Liga games but his debut was undisputably awesome and su h that Madrid did benefitted a lot from to the point they where able to the point they won a trophy.

Yes, I do. In fact, I still believe they can go to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and even the final, I just can't believe that PSG won the UCL .

I bet on both teams to score. I was quite happy to see the result in the first half. Then I was surprised to see the final result with Lyon's advantage. What was even more surprising was that there were many goals in this match, something I didn't think about. I was quite hesitant to bet on a team to win, so I chose both teams to score.

PSG vs Lille match, it's quite difficult to make a prediction. Playing at Lille's home ground will not be easy for PSG to win. Maybe a draw is good enough.

But Lyon have managed to contradict your feelings and they managed to win at home. There were so many goals scored and it shows how fierce this match was. Honestly I didn't think Lyon would win and I thought they would draw against Strasbourg. But here they were very angry and didn't want to continue getting bad results at the start of each season.

Strasbourg actually played quite well and they were able to match the pressure on the hosts. But here Lyon seemed destined to win and with a score of 4-3 it feels like there are two things to watch out for where they can score a lot of goals but on the other hand they also concede a lot of goals. This must be fixed immediately otherwise Lyon will find it difficult to win again in the next match.

What a game man! I never expected such return after the score became 1-3 for Lyon. Considering the way they started the season it is really difficult to believe in such thing. However that comeback was insane!    Gift Orban was such a game changer a short time after being subbed in. He played a big role in this win with 2 goals.

This was needed for Lyon but will they continue to win you think? Honestly I don't expect that in the coming games. First an away game against Lens and later a home one against Marseille. Both are very challenging...

After Mbappe left PSG, I thought PSG would be an average team again and other teams would be able to match them. But 2 wins with 10 goals and 1 conceded made me think that this season it seems like PSG has become a solid team and plays collectively as a team, not just making one person as a target man. Lyon finally got the win they were looking for, after having one of those bad starts with zero points after two games, I feared that they would have a start like last year, not that it's off the table, they could still have that but it looks like they had some good game and looked quite good to be fair and that's why we should be considering this as something good for them.

Lyon finished not too bad last year after having an awful start, if they can have a better start this season and do fine, they would be a lot better. Unfortunately they are financially in a terrible position, their entire team is basically on sale, I do not know what they are going to do and how they will survive, but the recovery will be a lot harder if they keep on losing games.

This is why I think it's clear that they are going to try to win more, players know that if they keep on being just terrible, they won't be transferred for a lot and won't make much salary, so they will probably try to win games so they can get better salary offers from other teams.

I think the most remarkable match of the day in the French Ligue 1 will be Toulouse vs Marseille. Toulouse started the season with 2 draws. Last week they drew 1-1 with Nice. Their defense was good in that match. On the other hand, Marseille drew 2-2 with Reims last week. In that game I think they had some important problems in defense. I don't think there won't be many goals in this match. Toulouse will defend well. And they want to take advantage of being the home team. I think Marseille will play like a classic away team. Under 2,5 goals is a good option for this match.
