Without further analysis, most bettors would bet on PSG victory without hesitation. But for me the odds of PSG winning are very small and will probably prefer to bet on PSG score over 2.5.

Brest was actually not bad enough last season. I mean, the club's achievements last season were not bad, they could even enter the top 3 in French Ligue 1.

However, it is very different in the 2024/2025 season where Brest's performance has dropped drastically. They have only won 1 match and the rest have lost completely, including when they were slaughtered by Marseille.

Yeah PSG will indeed beat Brest and maybe badly. What len01 said is interesting. The odds are slim so betting for PSG to win is kinda obvious and not profitable. Betting on the number of goals might be a risky and more profitable move.
Except from the last game against St-Etienne where Brest ended it with 4-0 victory, Brest lost by two and five goals. Considering how PSG performed so far then it might be possible to see them scoring many goals. I could say two goals are almost certain, 3 goals are possible too.

From what I’ve read, he’s happy with the squad, and now they need to unlock their potential to achieve big things in this new phase of the league.

What we thought about PSG before in ligue 1 without mbappe seems to be coming true, when mbappe left PSG at the end of last season of course no one doubted that PSG would have a decline in their performance in the domestic league and it has been proven so far that they are still fine after mbappe left, 3 consecutive wins with big scores prove that PSG is still very dominating ligue 1 at the moment,  even againts Lille which was previously considered a match that was a test for PSG this season, but  they had no difficulty beating lille with score 3-1 in last week match, Enrique who may find it easier to carry out his job in Ligue 1 but not in the Champions League, because PSG is not the favorite team at the moment, I think although they look very tough in the domestic league but to be honest PSG is not ready to make new history in the Champions League this season.

The players are stepping up in proving that they didn't need Mbappe to win the league and also to compete very well in the champions league. The team are now playing more of a team football and not when they'll be depending on Mbappe to carry the team always. The league isn't going to be a problem for PSG, I don't see any team that I can beat them to it but in the champion league is where they might encounter some difficulties because the format has changed and they'll have to play more games to qualify for the next stage. PSG is playing Brest next and it is going to be an easy win because Brest has not won PSG in recent times and PSG are in great form too.

Yes PSG start this season is amazing, their goal scoring record after 3 matches is surprising because when their star player left most people think they would fine it difficult this season but their performance has really beaten my expectations and no doubt they are not looking like a team that is ready to drop points now not even against a team like Brest.

The performance of PSG in the previous matches is evidence that they will win in their next game and they stand a better chance of donating the league this season because they still have the best squad in the Ligue1 currently, I expect to see PSG scoring up to 3 goals in the game.

PSG will play Marseille at the end of October, and until then they will try to be as close to PSG as possible. But despite a good game, they have already lost points in the match with Reims, so who knows what else can happen during this time. Marseille can afford to fully focus on Ligue 1, but I am not sure that this will help them to compete with PSG, if they are already losing points even without a face-to-face confrontation. And the match with Lille showed that they will not be able to become worthy opponents for them either, despite the away match it was an easy victory for PSG.
Every teams will drop points at certain stages during the season, it has happened to Marseille at this beginning stage of the season, and it could happen to PSG at any time too. Unless they are going to play unbeaten in the league this season, which I think it's very unlikely. What Marseille have to do is to make sure that the gap between them and PSG is not that wide, so that when PSG will start having a difficult time in the season they will have the opportunity to close the gap between them. There is still a lot of games to play and Marseille should just focus on their games. PSG will definitely drop points especially when the Champions league starts. That's the time that Marseille will use and catch up with them. Everyone knows that PSG wants to win the Champions league at all cost, so I believe they will prioritize winning the champoins league than the league title.

Of course PSG is a good squad, but Marseille also has its cards to play. Lots of points lost so far but who knows, maybe they'll keep PSG tight. Every team loses points, even PSG could get kicked out of the gate. Marseille must stay focused on itself and look forward. PSG will lose points, especially with this Champions League coming up. Mbappe was the backbone of PSG and we thought the club would lose its grip on the French league after he left. But the team is now more coordinated and not built around an individual. But the real test of their quality will be in the UEFA Champions League when they battle top clubs. The current league style has even made the Champion League more difficult to win. But we will wait to see how Luis Enrique will be able to break the jinx this season. The main test is not a game against Brest but Girona. Brest have won just a game and lost two. I am predicting an easy win for PSG.

I will also bet PSG to win. The first reason is that PSG are in very good form right now. In every match we have seen PSG players perform well. Also the bonding between PSG players is very strong. Because of this they can play well against any team. Even in the last match against strong Lille, PSG players performed well. Therefore, in such a situation, the Brest team is not a strong opponent for PSG.

Another reason to consider PSG favorites against Brest is that Brest's defense is quite weak. Brest conceded 5 goals against Marseille and conceded two goals against Lens. So Brest's players have very little chance of resisting against PSG's powerful attack. PSG are also unbeaten in their last 10 matches against Brest. And out of these 10 matches, PSG won 9 matches and one match was drawn.

That is true, they are looking great and I believe that they are going to get even better as well, we shouldn't really consider this as a big deal, it is something that we can't really consider as a problem at all. We need to focus on making sure that we deal with something without much issues. It's true that we can't really see any other team beating PSG this season, I am sure that it will happen eventually, but I think it's not going to be that much of a big deal at all, it's going to be normal that they end up losing eventually.

We need to remember that this is going to be PSG getting a title without Mbappe since long time, and because of that I think it's going to be valued even higher than the titles they won in the recent years as well. They look great so far and they do not have any weakness at any spot so far, which is why I think it should not be that much of a big deal, we could make it work somehow and we could make some profit from it without much trouble.

For Brest in the last season, they have also actually experienced a decline in performance towards the end of the season and the changes made are also hampered to improve that this season because of their financial condition which is a bit complicated to force so in this case it will be very difficult to make a stable condition with a makeshift squad for them.

Indeed, it can still happen and the evidence last season they performed solidly but this will not be possible in every season with the condition of their club which is indeed lacking in resource problems.

My hope for Brest is that they don't get too immersed in some of the competitions they do because it could make the situation worse considering that this season is the first debutant in the Champions League and usually for relatively smaller clubs it is difficult to make a good rotation which ultimately leads to a decline in performance in every competition they do.
