Donnaruma leaving obviously left a big gap for PSG, and getting that Lille goalkeeper is looking like a decent idea, he isn't terrible, but lets be honest no matter how good that kid is, he isn't as good as Donnaruma and I am pretty sure that he is going to end up with bad results.

Adjusting to a new team isn't a simple task and we are asking so much from a young keeper, to play in a team that plans to win all cups again. I expected PSG to win, but I didn't think it will be that easy for them. Atalanta is a solid club, they finished 3rd in Serie A in the last season and won the UEFA cup in 2024. If we look at the game stats, we can see the level of PSG's dominance, it's almost like they played against a team two levels below them.

This game was very competitive as both sides really came out to play and get all three points Lyon could only get a slim one zero victory in the second half of the game , I was really surprised by the score line because going by the statistics there were alot of shots from the both sides but the two defense were very resolute as they kept the score line at 1:0.

In the opening match in France, Lyon secured the three points with a single goal. Tomorrow, PSG will play away against Marseille in the evening. Lyon dominated Angers but couldn't score a lot of goals against Angers, but Tessmann's goal for Lyon against Angers in the 65th minute was enough to earn Lyon all three points. There was no hope for teams like them in this league but they are still playing well due to which they will make a very good and strong record in this league. Lyon has won every match but unfortunately they lose one match which does not reduce the strength of their record. Lyon got another win yesterday. They were good offensively but can't say very well in defense. Angers also found so many opportunities to score. 1-0 win for Lyon at the end...

First time in 5 matches that PSG is over 1.35, it was never more than that in 4 matches, 2 times at 1.35 and then 1.10 and 1.20.

It is not about being champions, I mean when they lost to Rennes we realized they are not going to be champions, hell even before the season started we knew they wouldn't. The point is the fact that Lyon was on verge of going down, relegated, and they did not, and form there, they recovered and became second place and that is a huge achievement. If they keep doing this then they are going to get a lot better and they are going to end up with a lot better results without a doubt.

We should be focusing on how to get the best results that they can so that they can financially recover. If they finish top four this year, and go to UCL next year then they are going to make enough money to get out of debt situation.
