To be fair, Ligue 1 is getting more top heavy and that is very fun. Did not realize PSG already lost a game, but that is fun because it gives the league some more entertainment and excitement. I hope that it gets better with time, and we will end up seeing them do a fine job.

PSG lost their first game of the season against Marseille and that never stopped them from going into this encounter against Auxerre and they won by 2 goals to nil. It seems to be a better result but let's face it, PSG are becoming slow in getting the job done these days and we know how well they can dominate the game especially against smaller side.
The visitors were all over the champions to get a goal but it didn't happen and it proves that the champions PSG are better in that defensive department in this encounter but I somehow think this very squad that Enrique is using are not up to speed and they are not pushing too hard to make their opponent to respect them, is PSG still the PSG we used to know that won the UCL or is this a new chapter of them trying to start slow?

PSG had 4 important injuries like Dembele, Doue, Neves and Marquinhos. But this still didn't change anything against Auxerre at home.    A comfortable 2-0 win it was...

However they will feel the absence of these players in their upcoming Champions League game... It is against Barcelona away. Kvara can't carry the team by himself in the attacking line. It is a really tough game you know.

Barcelona also seem to be facing serious injury problems today though but I don't know how many of them will be out in that game.

PSG would really miss these players greatly now that, PSG would be facing a team like Barcelona which has a lot of quality in them. PSG has been able to maintain their strength even without these very important players, going away to Barcelona would not be an easy one for PSG.


But I am one person that believes so much in the ability of PSG to face any team currently in Europe. PSG has a structure that is working for them Which is that, the PSG team is not built around any particular player. This has been their biggest weapon which has worked for PSG through out last season and PSG will still use in this game against Barcelona.

That's right, we hope Ligue 1 can be more competitive. When PSG drops points, it means other Ligue 1 teams will have a chance to compete for the trophy. Historically, in the last decade, PSG most defeats in a single season occurred in the 2020-2021 season, when they suffered eight losses and four draws. That year Lille emerged as champions, finishing one point ahead of PSG.
I think it’s unlikely that scenario will repeat this season, considering Luis Enrique squad remains very solid, even though they suffered their first defeat in week 5. I think the title race will indeed be fiercer than last season, but in the end we’ll still see PSG lifting the trophy.

What you said actually reminds me of what happened to PSG about 4 years ago. They had more losses than Lens that season, but still ended up lifting the trophy at the end. So no matter what PSG are going through right now or even in the next few seasons, as long as the other Ligue 1 teams aren’t making big improvements in terms of signing top quality players, PSG will keep dominating. No one’s really in a position to break that dominance yet

In my humble opinion, PSG will take home the cup again this season, there's no way around it.
As a team, it remains very strong even if it can sometimes have some slip-ups, which is normal, but in any case it promises to be difficult and strong for all the others to face.

In Ligue 1, it's not surprising to see PSG consistently win the title at the end of the season, as other teams in Ligue 1 never strengthen themselves by buying expensive, yet capable players, etc. Therefore, the competition in Ligue 1 still seems weak and uncompetitive, allowing a strong team like PSG to comfortably win the title at the end of the season without much notice, as it's a fact. So, as for the end-of-season trophy, I don't think it's worth discussing, as it's already widely known which team will win it.

I also think that if only there were a few other teams like Marseille, Ligue 1 would be very competitive, with trophies being won every season, although ultimately, it will go to the most consistent team like PSG. However, when the competition in the league starts to get tougher, it will certainly pique the curiosity of many fans, making Ligue 1 less boring to watch from the start of the season to the end. Because I also really want to see fiercer competition in Ligue 1 every season, even though that is like a dream that cannot come true in Ligue 1 now.

This very correct, the competition we would be seeing in Ligue 1 if we had about toe or more teams like Marseille would have definitely be very different from that which we are seeing now in the Ligue 1 and even PSG seeing  that they have a rival would have definitely reduced how well they dominated the league.  The Ligue 1 would have definitely be very fierce than it is now and the fact that one team alone is not winning all the time will bring more interest and the anticipation on the team will be even higher.

I agree with you on what you said but as someone who gambles and are being favored by some teams like PSG you'd be carried away by the fact that they will lose too, like the confidence will be too high. But again, this season is going to be one that they'll find it hard in some encounter because I believe the energy they used last season won't be compared to this very season especially now that they're missing some good players in their squad and sometimes they'll still find it hard to perform well even when the likes of Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué in the squad. Let's say is a bonus point for Marseille when the won PSG because we know why things went bad for the champions until everything is set for PSG and they lose then there won't be any excuses for their loss.

This French ligue 1 is just competitive for the average teams in the league which made the teams not consistent in their performances you will see a team did absolutely well this season then the next season you will wonder if it's that same team so I'm not much surprise when an unexpected team came up to be title contenders which they can't win I always sees it as a normal thing in the league, apart from Paris Saint Germain every other teams in that league is not relevant to me, because after the very season you won't be able to recognize them the next season.

Without discrediting the other teams, PSG is a machine, it is the only team in Ligue 1 that is worth watching, watching the other teams' games makes me sleepy, I don't know, but I have tried to watch them and they bore me, of course it is not a bad thing but they do not have the mobility that PSG has, I think that even the teams in Ligue 1 with the exception of PSG need to improve a lot.

Paris Saint-Germain is a team that creates wonders with its incredible squad. They have incredibly dynamic players, and each player is among the best in the world in their respective positions. That's why they have a quality far above the French league. It's always a pleasure to watch them play.

PSG was undefeated for 30 games last season, lost two games when they had a 22-point lead, in 2022, they lost only two games (one when they were already champions), 2021 undefeated for 16 rounds and leading by 7 points before winter break.

I see PSG facing another defeat against Barcelona because right now they are still going to play without Dembele who is still injured and the loss they experienced in the league could be serve as another set back to the team because Barcelona players will watch the replay of the game so that they will capitalize on it to stop the attack of PSG so they can also get 3 points from them. Marseille defeated PSG 1:0, against Barcelona they may face a more defeat now that Yamal is back and the players are doing well it's going to be a big fight but Barcelona looks better to grab the win.

It is an amazing comeback by them from being on the verge of relegation indeed! I thought they were going to be in a downfall anyway after losing some important names in the squad.

But no, the opposite is happening now. Only 1 loss and won all the rest. The same points as PSG in the standings currently. However...
