PSG has been really consistent in the last five seasons this is a very big record that it will be difficult for other teams to come and break . It will take sometimes before any team can do something special like what PSG has done.  But this has gone to show the quality of French ligue 1 the standard and quality of the teams has really reduced because there has not been a good team that has really challenged PSG for the title race.


The seasons that Monaco and Lille won the league title they were really impressive and had great players, for any team to win the league anytime some soon such a team should invest in players which could be consistent because in terms of player investments the other teams has not done much.

Last season, PSG even managed to secure the trophy early before the season ended, which shows that there was no team in Ligue 1 strong enough to match them. Although overall the competition in Ligue 1 is not very competitive, PSG has proven that they are still capable of winning the Champions League trophy. I think PSG’s success last season has helped build a better narrative about Ligue 1.

Without wealthy investors acquiring other clubs, it seems difficult for other Ligue 1 contenders to build a squad as strong as PSG’s. The financial gap makes it increasingly easy for PSG to maintain its dominance over a long period of time. This season, nothing has changed, PSG is not only the favorite in Ligue 1, but also one of the top favorites in the Champions League.

Not easily for other Ligue 1 team such as AS Monaco, Marseille or Lille become the winner have bad performance after second half season and always difficult for defeating PSG at crucial match. Only Marseille so far success defeating PSG at first half season match but its happening after PSG playing with not full team.

Any bookmaker. You're talking about the Asian handicap, which is actually quoted at 1.42, while I'm talking about the regular handicap, which is quoted at 1.81. In my opinion, Asian handicap is an "option," so unless otherwise specified, it's just the standard one. Incidentally, I honestly don't understand the popularity of Asian handicap, it's sometimes annoying because there are odds for this type of betting, but not for the traditional one.

My top 3 for this season will be:

1 - PSG (will be champions)

2 - Olympique de Marseille (will finish second)

3 - Monaco (will finish third)

So far, Strasbourg has surprised me a lot because they're currently in third place. They've signed some young players. I don't know if they're playing because I haven't had time to watch a Strasbourg match against a Ligue 1 team. But I confess that I didn't expect that after seven Ligue 1 matches, they'd remain in third place. Maybe they'll finish in the European competition qualifying position. Lyon is also starting well; I believe they'll fight for European competition spots. Lille also has potential, but they've performed poorly in their last three matches.

I don’t see any other club in the french league one beating PSG to the French league cup this season and Marseille have been impressive too so far this season. Strasbourg have been impressive too but I doubt they will be able to stamd the test of time and remain at the top of the league till the end of the season.

I easily find it easy to support a team from Ligue 1 because normally I support a team that is trying and the only team that have that capacity in the French League PSG. PSG has been the dominated team in the French League for almost two decades now and i haven't noticed any sign of the decline from their performance rather they continue to grow and grow beyond our expectation. If you look at Transfermarkt, you can see how well the PSG squad is valued. They are far superior to other teams. This means that with strong financial strength, PSG has become a wealthy team with many quality players, so I don't think their league dominance is too surprising.

According to what source? I don't buy that idea my dear because it is not supported by data. In the last FIFA ballon d'or award, most of the awards were won by people in Spanish La Liga and players in English Premier League were rarely in the major award categories. If we use available data and without attaching emotions, it will be hard to say that the English Premiership is the best league in the world. Even if we go on the basis of no single team dominating the league, then we should be talking about Italian Serie A where it is not always easy for a team to win the league consecutively.

For more than a decade now PSG are always favorites in winning the league every year, they are very dominant each season, they keep bringing in more quality and that one reason why they still remain at the very top.

This season they are favorite, they have the quality to still win it and I believe they would. When you look at other teams challenging them for the title you will see that they lack qualities compared to what PSG have.

It always good to see the such competition in the league, it makes the league more competitive and interesting. Though PSG have a higher percentage to win the league but I think it won’t come easy.

Actually you'll be happy that I can't be able to answer this question, but know, I'm not a kind of person that talks without fact. Spanish league will have the opportunity of winning all their awards but that doesn't mean they are the best League in the world. I also believe that Spanish league is two teams league the reason why I said that if it is not Barcelona it will be Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid only comes in once in every 5 Seasons.

Even though French ligue 1 is a one way traffic league. I think that, the quality of the league is good because what is used in measuring the quality of a team is known by how good the teams from a particular league fare in the champions League.and last season PSG was fantastic as they win all the teams from these leagues that you mentioned.

I agree with you that Paris Saint Germaine usually struggles at the beginning of the season in the French league before they'll finally return to the peak of their form. It usually leaves the impression that they'll probably not retain the title again but at the end, you'll still see them going all the way to win it.
Marseille have unarguably been the best performing team in the league this campaign but do they have all it takes to remain that consistent till the end of the season? I strongly don't doubt. In as much as I'll want to see a new winner other than PSG, I doubt that PSG with the current squad and manager will fail to win the league this season.

Exactly, my friend, PSG is like this right now thanks to Luis Enrique, who has done his job very well, and part of his success is the team he himself proposed and asked the Sheikh to form. Look at the odds currently on the market, they're truly lopsided. Paris Saint-Germain has @1,29 odds, while Strasbourg has @9,6 odds. With those odds, can we really believe Strasbourg can even hold Paris Saint-Germain to a draw? seems a little impossible.

I personally predict that PSG will face some difficulties in this upcoming match, where PSG will try to maintain their position at the top of the standings by adding points in this match. So I'm a little doubtful about PSG's performance in this unpredictable match. Moreover I see that PSG has appeared less confident in some of their away matches. I personally still have to see their performance in the first half or even need to see their starting lineup. So I can make a more accurate prediction.
