Marseille's three points were crucial. They're currently in second place again. I can't understand how Monaco could lose to Paris FC. Other teams never seem to capitalize on the points lost by Paris Saint-Germain this year. Paris Saint-Germain didn't drop this many points in previous years. It's truly remarkable that they're still top of the table despite dropping so much this year. It seems the other teams in France, other than Paris Saint-Germain, don't want to be champions. They're giving away points too much, I'd say.

What a resistance example by Nice that was... They just accepted the game to be played in their half mostly but still they were so close to securing one point.
I really don't like the teams parking the bus. But I understand this was the only way they could have got a point from PSG.   
If Dembélé was a starter maybe PSG would score earlier. But Luis Enrique wanted to give him limited time thinking the Bayern Munich game ahead.

surely, Nices defending was quite impressive. They allowed PSG to have all the possession of both the ball & the field, giving up a staggering ~76.5 % possession & nearly bagged a point. You know,,  parking the bus is not always dull or lazy, in some cases it can be the only productive option against a side like PSG. yeah Nice didnt park the bus, however they were organized, shut the gaps &  waited for moments to attack. yeah It wasnt glamorous but tactically it was smart..

Hey, your commentary about Dembele was quite amusing & yeah Luis Enrique has kept him fresh for the Bayern game, only 2 days remaining... I just wanted to show some love & respect for Nice ! They truly showed they could match up with the biggest clubs as long as they focus. It wasnt quite the shock result though

Honestly, I'm not too sure whether Marseille can maintain their consistent stability, but if they can maintain that form, PSG will still have an easier time maintaining their top spot, unless a miracle happens to change history.

And regarding the newly promoted team, it's actually quite interesting. Paris previously managed to stage a comeback against Lyon and today managed to steal 3 points from Monaco. Lyon and Monaco are among the strong teams in ligue 1. So, Paris performance as a newly promoted team is commendable, and at least with this kind of performance, the team can stay in ligue 1 and avoid relegation.

Monaco was supposed to win that game, but they didn't even manage to score a single goal and lost. If they continue like this, they might not even finish in 4th place.

Monaco were supposed to win Paris so easily, not even because Paris is from the second division but because Paris isn't doing well in Ligue currently and Monaco were at home. Monaco have missed a good chance of closing the point gap with PSG to one point, which could have given them a good advantage of overtaking PSG in the Ligue 1 table since PSG is still dropping unnecessary points these days. The inconsistency in the clubs that are supposed to rival PSG for the Ligue 1 title is the reason why PSG always wins the title at the end of the season.

I know Paris FC isn't ranked high at the moment, but we have to remember, this is the future of French league. The red card, which occurred early in the match, in the 8th minute, really made Lyon look like a loser in the back line. Fortunately, they strengthened their defense and ultimately did not concede a single goal until the final whistle was blown. However, in the end, they were unable to score a goal and the match ended with a 0-0 draw, with no goals scored in that match. Lyon was quite fortunate to play with only 10 players and still be able to draw. They were trying very hard to defend, as many as 14 shots were directed by Brest, but Lyon was able to handle them all very well.

Still finding it hard to believe that Lyon got something in that encounter against Brest, it wasn't a game I expected them to win or even draw after the red card. The performance was unbelievable to the extend that they had to keep up with their style of play and was even pressing the Brest side back in their own half like they are complete like the host team, if the host team was good enough they would have been leading at half time but they had almost all the better chances but could not convert any.
For Lyon I wish they continue with this type of display especially against a bigger side to show how ready they can be when they put their mind to do something big for the club, occupying 6th on the log with 20pt shows that they only need 4pt to level the point gap with the league leaders, this mentality in this encounter against Brest is better than the last time I saw them play.

I am not too worried about PSG's performance in the domestic league because I know that PSG will definitely make a comeback, whether it is sooner or later. PSG may be focusing on the Champions League right now, but they are at the bottom of the domestic league table, but that is not the case. PSG are at the top of the table, but the gap between them and the second-placed team is 2 points. If PSG can continue with this gap, then we can see that this gap has increased even more by the end of the season. PSG are always the favourites to win the Ligue 1 title and I can count on PSG to win this league title.

What an unnecessary red card that was! It came too early which just made things harder for Lyon already. At least they didn't lose maybe but their form is in a bad shape recently... 

They were able to win only once in their last 5 league games. It was a good start to the season at first but they are dropping down gradually now. But I understand that. They just even faced the danger of relegation because of bad finances.

Monaco failure is no surprise for me and as I always said, the problem of Ligue 1 is the team playing against Paris Saint-Germain are very inconsistent, fluctuating heavily and cannot maintain a good record. If they could win all the games except PSG ones, they will finish first.
