The red card 8 minutes after the match started was the thing that made it difficult for them. their balance in strategy had to change so quickly and it was very draining because they had to deal with 11 opposing players. fortunately they can still get 1 point from this match.

I think Brest will be able to capitalize on their numerical advantage, but they are not very sharp up front. Apart from Lyon playing more defensively, they are also very difficult to create attacks.

Marseille's three points were crucial. They're currently in second place again. I can't understand how Monaco could lose to Paris FC. Other teams never seem to capitalize on the points lost by Paris Saint-Germain this year. Paris Saint-Germain didn't drop this many points in previous years. It's truly remarkable that they're still top of the table despite dropping so much this year. It seems the other teams in France, other than Paris Saint-Germain, don't want to be champions. They're giving away points too much, I'd say.

Monaco ordinarily was expected to win against Paris but this team do not seem like they are slowing down at all, they want to utilise any chance they get, I even see that they appear really opportunistic with their performance, if any big side makes the mistake of undermining them amd not playing against them like they would against a big side, they will make sure to use the opportunity immediately to get a point or three and that was what seem to have happened in the case against Monaco, it is good to have Marseille performing this way, maybe they will bring home the competition to the Ligue 1 again.

That card was unnecessary everybody says but it was the right decision to make, do you not see that the var called back the referee to give the right card after giving him a yellow card first and foremost. That pass which lead to this red card was too short in the first place. The defender sent out also did his best to track to block that ball from being counter attacked. The both sides attempted shots on goal but non was lucky enough to make it happen. Lyon deserve a single point with the way the gam played out.

PSG may be focusing on the Champions League right now, but they are at the bottom of the domestic league table, but that is not the case. If PSG can continue with this gap, then we can see that this gap has increased even more by the end of the season. PSG are always the favourites to win the Ligue 1 title and I can count on PSG to win this league title.

Lyon displayed a good football play indeed and at least got a reward after that hard fought match. The game was tough from immediately after the early red card which many thought was not supposed to be given. Lyon displayed a good game and not many people would believe they will leave with a single point. Another fixture that almost went unrewarded was PSG Vs Nice. How on earth did the game end in first half draw after consistent bombarding by the PSG players. Nice was very technical and determined to draw the game. With the ball in their legs, PSG still couldn't register a single goal until the header delivered by Ramos at the stoppage time. I still couldn't imagine ending the game in draw until the end. Some days are not just for the bigger boys. The last time Nice won PSG was September 2023 when they beat PSG on their home ground. Same pattern, more defensive less attacks.  

PSG played good football and deserved that 3 points too. Dembele needs more time, he still getting himself back and he is definitely going to score more goals this season. Ramos is a good finisher with killer headers. PSG still leads in after week 11.

PSG will not be easily defeated in League 1 even though they are behind they will soon catch up because League 1 clubs are usually not as consistent as PSG at this time PSG is preparing for a very big match against Bayern Munich in the UCL the match is not easy and it is also very important for PSG to get full points so they can maintain their position, Bayern Munich is in good form in the UCL so PSG needs to be careful when facing Bayern.

Earlier, there was a saying about the PSG team that PSG's performance was limited to Ligue 1 and they could not do well in any other tournament outside the French League, but last season they proved this idea wrong and they won the Champions League title. The team's president tried his best to win the Champions League title and they spent a lot of money on players.
Although they were successful last season, they want to maintain this winning streak, so this season they are trying their best to do well in the Champions League. If the top five teams are listed this season too, which have a high chance of doing well in the Champions League, I think PSG will take a good place in these top five teams.

It took 5 minutes of the stoppage time for us to see the first goal, when Ramos gave PSG a 1-0 win over Nice.

Indeed Lyon was obviously lucky to have walked away with a point at least after conceding a red card in the game. Brest FC took advantage of the shortage in the Lyon side and mounted much pressure on them but couldn't find the back of the net because Lyon where doing more of defending than attack which was why they were able to repel the home side till the end of the game which guaranteed them a point in that encounter.

This is no more ordinary, like Paris Saint Germain is actually not playing to my expectations, the question here is can they actually win the French ligue 1 title? Because with what I'm seeing it won't be that easy for them as no team is ready to be left behind, and I'd love it more seeing another different team winning the league this season, so by next season they will show more seriousness, or should I say they focus more on the champions League like they'd love to defend it as it will be very much interesting to see.

The season has not even moved to the middle and you all think PSG has already started to play below your expectations! Oh just wow, how you guys think the other teams in the league ain't there to win games and lift the trophy. Being a defending champion is no small task, especially a double championship title in two different competitive leagues. Now unlike other seasons PSG have to battle to defend their UCL title and the league1 and this has to be strategically done. PSG's performance in Ligue 1 is a bit erratic. PSG has won 7 out of 11 Ligue 1 matches. However, PSG has drawn 3 out of the last 5 matches. Recently, Luis Enrique has not been taking Ligue 1 matches seriously. And this is why PSG has lost points in several matches.

However, the road to winning the Ligue 1 title will not be too difficult for PSG. PSG has lost points in several matches, but still PSG is at the top of the table. It is 2 points ahead of Marseille. Remember Marseille is just two points away from them, all they need is a win in their next fixture and if PSG draw or losses, they will be displaced, although PSG's next fixture is against Rennes, and Marseille is against Brest, PSG has an advantage here much more than Marseille does considering their various opponents, but for a fact, PSG still and most likely will remaini dominant for the rest of the season if they do not suffer set backs while giving too many attention to the champions league.

1 point is indeed much better than not getting any points at all, but the upset must be there, they should be able to produce more but can not penetrate the defense and only threatening attacks without producing goals, both defended quite well, the host took advantage of Lyon's lack of players but still did not succeed because Lyon realized that they were better off emptying the front line and covering the hole in the defense on the right side.

PSG won the game after much frustration and struggle which is not supposed to be so for a team that has that kind of squad and the team they played against they were supposed to get and easy win regardless of the game they will be having against Bayern Munich. In the previous 3 games of PSG it has been a struggle you think it's not going to affect their performance against Bayern Munich tomorrow? You need to think between because PSG will definitely be beaten if they put up such poor performance in the game.

It was a shame that Monaco lost against Paris FC, even though they were playing at home and were favored to win against the 11th-placed club. They had even just managed to overtake Marseille in second place, but had to give up their position again due to the loss to Paris FC.

I share your sentiments. Although PSG's performance has declined in several domestic league matches, with their squad depth, they can still easily dominate Ligue 1. Furthermore their rivals in Ligue 1 are not as strong, making it difficult for them to maintain consistency in every match.

This season PSG remains primarily focused on defending their UCL title, so it's no surprise that Enrique has rotated frequently in recent matches. He doesn't want to take any risks, especially with PSG's next match against Bayern Munich. This match is crucial for PSG, even though it's only a group stage match. I found out that there were different opinions from different people and some claimed that Yamal was robbed, lol. All competitions are getting tougher and there's not much resting time for players who's team doesn't have much squad depth but for teams like PSG, rotating their key players atleast some is the best way to handle the congested schedule anyways PSG are a very lucky team cause they don't have a top competition in their league making it possible for some first team players to rest in preparation for the Champions league on weekdays.

 I trust Enrique concerning the task ahead, he's managed to handle the team properly even without his two top players and I believe that team selection won't be an issue for him since PSG has lots of options especially having lots of younger talents as replacement for strategic positions of the team.
