Well I won't dispute the fact that they seem to be more interested in the champions League than the league 1 title. However I know it may be almost impossible to win the champions league this season even though they are among the favourites to win the title. Injuries is makes them fall from the top. PSG can win the Ligue One title. They've been indulging in more competition this season. I knew that PSG had no problem topping the league and winning it becauseI don't see any club that can stop them from defending the title but some people were worried. PSG was giving more of their time to their Champions League matches but the got disappointed when Bayern trashed them.

I'm sure that PSG didn't expect to be faced with the force that Lyon came with when they met in the weekend and I for one was amongst those that were favoring the hosts to win against the European champions because it seemed as if PSG weren't taking the game seriously. I know that they are being plagued with injuries to their players but again, there were loopholes they Lyon noticed and took advantage of. The game would have ended in a stalemate had Nicolas Tagliafico hadn't conceded a red card which led to PSG getting all three points which in my opinion wasn't well deserved. It was just luck.

I personally didn't expect PSG to win the match against Lyon as the home team. Even though PSG was missing key players in this match due to injuries. PSG actually dominated this match, where they had a lot of ball possession in the first half and even in the second half. But I think PSG's performance was declining in this match. So they had to try really hard to win it. And I believe that the winning goal scored by Joao Neves was the result of their hard work in this match. So I personally think they deserved to win. I'm sure that PSG will always be able to dominate in future matches if they continue to work as hard as they have shown in this match. Especially if several PSG players have returned to the pitch after recovering from injury. Luis Enrique and his team truly deserve praise for their performance so far.
