I like the courage that was built by both Marseille and Lens for the past few matches played, but the main problem here is that, can they finish the season with this wonderful performance, because this is always the issues that are surrounding any team that want to compete with PSG. I hope Luis Enrique has plans for the Champions League and Ligue 1. It's not always possible for a team to focus on both leagues at the same time. This is because the distance in quality between them and the other teams is too much. It took them missing over 5 key starting players for the playing field to be close to level.

The most important team is that only PSG will be able to maintain their form till the end of the season. Every team gets to that point in the season where they drop form a little. PSG is the only team in the league that can survive that period. If Marseille losses a couple of matches, PSG will increase the gap, and time will come when those teams will drop points. I've just watched highlights of Olympique Lyon Vs PSG and the game looked quite intense.
PSG had a massive advantage in ball possession (71%), but when it came to scoring opportunities, it was pretty much even. I think a spilt of points would be a fair result, but PSG managed to shift the result in their favour by scoring a 90+5 minute winner.

I feel sorry for them because these are players who hugely participated for them last season. Dembele,  Doue, Mandes and Hakimi. Didn't just score goals, they are effective ball carriers who have helped support the tactics of Paris Saint Germain manager. I do think the available players can win the next three games they will be playing but the game against Tottenham in the champions league competition is the most important of them all. You are not at all mistaken, PSG conquering Ligue 1 is now virtually a matter of course. The depth of their squad, financial capabilities, and the quality is way above the rest of the league and this is why another title domestically seems to be imminent. Nevertheless, the serious answer is the Champions league, where experience and mentality are more important than the star power. To have won it once was monumental to their legacy but continuation of that achievement is what makes the difference between great and elite teams. It makes questions of the long-term planning to spend huge sums every year just to gain a league that they can win without any trouble. The glory of UCL has always been the focus of PSG project and until they can show that they can use the same formula to achieve success, this criticism on spending will not stop.
