I wonder why a club that knows they'll be participating in a major league tournament coupled with other domestic league competitions would fail to strengthen their depth to the better prepared for the new season, that's a sign of unseriousness by their board and they'll have to fix it by the January window else they'll suffer the consequences or even miss out on participating in a major competition next season.

Lille has been at the top of the table for several seasons now, not just a minor team. Even in the 2020/2021 season, Lille won the French league under the dominance of PSG, which has always been dominant. Dembele is a player like few others, he was the rebirth of PSG, as you say and you say very well, i think that Paris Saint-Germain should never deprive themselves of a player like that, it's so rare to find one like that, and when you find him, you shouldn't let him go, he's truly a great player.

Isn't that really really weird? I mean think about it, this dude is a Ballon D'or winner right now, but Barcelona felt that he was not good enough and sold him for 50 million. Today if you wanted to get him, you would have to pay probably 200+ million for him, but back in the day he was the unwanted man of Barcelona and played not so great.

To be fair, it was correct at the time as well because not like Barcelona misjudged him or anything, we all have seen him play and we have all seen him do badly.
