Therefore, I don't think it's fair to blame Paris Saint-Germain for a single defeat. They'll likely finish in the top eight and go straight to the finals. In the French league, no one can imagine a team that could surpass them for the title.

If you watched PSG closely during their last injury run with Dembele on the bench you will understand that this team still lacks some key replacement for some of their players. How do you think that with injury they can survive in league 1 when they are only 2 points ahead of Marseille and most of the points PSG has dropped this season happened during their last injury period. PSG is a good squad right now but I don't believe they have a good second squad to hold a fierce team even though french league is just a farmers league for me. PSG has dominated for a long time and may not be able to repeat same this season. I strongly believe Marseille will be equal to the task and may eventually win the title.

However, PSG is already aware they may never get to champions league final and may only have to focus on their local leagues right now. Bayern Munich beating them in their last game was not supposed to happen this period but it happened. PSG is still the European champions and football fans won't be wrong expecting a champions display from them at all time.

It's all about consistency in getting good results, the points gap between the top teams isn't far, I can also say that the gap between Paris Saint Germain & Lyon is actually still small, only 7 points. Lyon still has a chance to finish in the top 2, but they must continue to fight & crush their opponents going forward. Their next match is against Auxerre, the weakest team ATM & they should be able to easily get 3 points.

Inconsistency is classical problem for Lyon regarding last season performance almost reach the Champion League spot but get failure after loss many points at few matches left and must finish at Europe League spot standings. For this season, Lyon have losses 4 of 12 matches with 7 points gap from PSG. Finished at 2nd position actually not difficult but has consistent performance or not for next several matches exactly Lyon not winning last three matches in a row.
Auxerre is bottom standings teams and losses 9 of 12 matches in Ligue 1 if can get three points against the weakness teams not any chance yet to fight for 2nd position standings this season.

The point gap between the team in the Ligue1 is close because PSG had misused several opportunities they would have increased their chances of going far ahead of the other teams especially when they dropped points in the match against Strasbourg, now they have to work harder to ensure that they do not further ruin their chances knowing that Lyon is just a few points close to them and might close in on them if they ever record any bad result after the international break.

Despite PSG topping the Ligue 1 table with just two points, I don't think PSG need to work harder to ensure either Marseille or Lens doesn't top the Ligue 1 table because if other clubs were serious about winning the Ligue 1 title PSG wouldn't be at the top of the table after dropping unnecessary points this season. The more competitive nature of the Champions League forced Luis Enrique to change his strategy when several key players were injured. Yes, a 66% win rate for PSG is incredibly low. After all, they're the only giants in Ligue 1. Yesterday, I discovered that their draw with Lorient killed my multiple bet with combined odds of 40+! Damn, imagine my disappointment. It was one of my first bets, and when it didn't work, I simply forgot about it. But yesterday, I looked and saw that all the other bets were correct. An interesting match suddenly became a disappointment because the referee's decision which was less efficient with the rules had damaged and disappointed everyone who watched, especially those who favored Luchito as the winner. It was unexpected that such a ridiculous referee's decision occurred during an interesting match, Bayern has shown the best performance in the UCL this season and will be a tough competitor for other teams.

I think Luchito has brought South American football to Germany where he has scored some dream goals. I remember that goal he scored when he received a bad assist; he dove, saved the ball, and then blasted it past the goalkeeper. Truly, for me, one of the best goals in the Bundesliga. Greenwood deserves this award as he has given his best performance for his team Marseille, where he really has a good influence on his team's progress to gain points to top the standings approaching PSG. Keeping a player away from matches doesn't make him better. Every player gains more experience and finds opportunities to improve as they play. Dembele is a very high-quality player, and he has the potential to improve with every match. Dembele improves as he plays.

Players need to be in good form. To be in good form, they need to play consistently. Therefore, making a player wait to play in big matches can be a mistake.

I agree with you completely because Dembele is one player that is injury prone so trying to limit his gaming time will be one effective way to help in stay fit through out the season. One way this can be done is reducing his playing time or minutes during games that has nothing at stake or when coming up against opponents that may not be considered as strong and give other players in his position opportunity to play. This is a good method to reduce injury for Dembele and can at the same time help other players to grow.
