Lens have really taken the lead. Should I be surprised though? I guess not.    Because PSG have already lost 12 points so far. This must be a much worse start than the last time.

I thought they would beat Monaco in their tough time but it didn't happen either. Luis Enrique must be aware of their condition of course. Still early in the season so he can make things better like he did last season.

Losing the top spot to Lens definitely hurts PSG a lot, no matter how confident they are, they were the best team in the year Lille won too and some shocking results ended up with them losing the title, so they would worry about the same risk. The sad thing is that they are not looking good, even though they won the whole titles last season.

It means there must be something wrong with the team and that is why it's scary to see this. I am not sure what's going to happen and how it will impact them but it's clear that we are not seeing them playing with 100% at the moment and they are looking very low morale. I am sure they will do better eventually but it will be a very big risk, they have to be careful about it.

After just 10 minutes came the reckless tackle against the goalie, and that was a clear sign that Monaco didn't come for play, but they still ignored everything else and allowed there overconfidence to get over them, what was the results? Monaco has so many opportunities to have won that game with even more goals; one goal was ruled for an offside, also a handball was ignored by the referee. I really don't know why he did everything he could to make sure that PSG stays in the game. I couldn't get too much of Paul Pogba's performance as he was only substituted in the 70th minute or so.

PSG aren't really doing well like the previous season and I know luiz Enrique is well aware of this and as for that game against Monaco I really have nothing to say because just like you I never really expected them to even draw the game as the past record meeting between the two side for the last 3 seasons have been all favourable to PSG.

Lens is just a point ahead of PSG, I do not see it like they are going to be too bothered about this difference, PSG needs just one win and they will reclaim the top position on the table, meanwhile I doubt how long Lens will be able to maintain that spot enough on the table, they have been doing far above average this season, but they are definitely not an equal to PSG to displace PSG for too long a time.

PSG now has to be more serious in the Ligue 1 matches. PSG has lost the top spot in the table. The difference in points is only 1. But if PSG still does not give importance to the Ligue 1 matches, they will lose points in the next matches as well. On the other hand, Lens cannot be underestimated. The team's performance is  strong and stable. Lens has won 10 matches out of 14 matches. On the other hand, psg  has won 9 matches. Lens has continued its winning streak in the last 4 matches. So regaining the top spot in the table will not be an easy task for PSG now. And I will not be surprised if this gap   increases further.

Indeed, that match was disastrous for the PSG side, i know PSG is not on there biggest form but a lose to Monaco who haven't won in there last four matches was nasty, they(Monaco) even drew to PAFOS!!! although the last goal was an own goal but still.

Too many injuries on the PSG side is one of the reasons for there dip, but they lacked there usual pressure in that match. i feel when you go on to win a big treble there are some implications, pressure on the coach to maintain previous performance and other coaches takes more time to analyze your matches, it's always tough.

Another result that shocked me was the fact that Marseille ended up in a draw coming from a 2-1 advantage at the 90+ min, the win in the match would have moved Marseille to the top spot, i have always have a thing for Marseille and i hope they improve there performance more.

I think the problem of simultaneous injuries to several key players has caused PSG to struggle for consistency this season. Actually, many people are happy to see PSG lose their position at the top of the table, it shows that the competition for the trophy in Ligue 1 has now become more competitive. Of course, PSG will probably still end up being the champions, but at least with Lens and Marseille alternately leading the standings, it makes the journey this season a little more lively than usual.

We don't doubt about the potential of Paris Saint-Germain and what they are able to do. They are the best team in the Ligue 1 and the other teams end up by missing easy points so they will return to the first spot most likely. What is interesting is the fact that they lost the first rank easily for Lens after a lot of point missed by them for no valid reasons.

After a goalless first half, Monaco took the lead in the second half with a goal from Minamino and managed to win the match 1-0. Despite playing the last 10 minutes with 10 men, they managed to take all three points from this match. PSG, meanwhile, suffered their second defeat in the league. Despite playing better than their opponents, failing to get any points from this away game proved costly for them.
Marseille, who were losing at half-time, conceded a late goal to draw the match. Toulouse took the lead in the first half, but Marseille came back with goals from Paixao and Höjbjerg in the second half. However, they were unable to prevent a late goal and had to settle for a draw. Their opponents Toulouse were not very effective in this match, and Marseille had more possession. Marseille are very disappointed not to have won this match because a victory would have put them in the lead.

Monaco played exceptionally well in this match, employing a brilliant strategy that left Paris Saint-Germain helpless. Usually, Paris Saint-Germain can steal a goal in the final minutes, but in this match, despite Monaco playing with 10 men for the final 10 minutes, they remained consistent until the end.

This was their second defeat in Ligue 1 this season, and the result means they have fallen off the top spot in the standings, now held by Lens by one point.

That was a bit unexpected for me honestly. Because you know Monaco recently. Their results got really bad in the league like 3 losses in a row before this one. The Champions League wasn't also going great.

But they still managed to win the most difficult game of the season.    But even this win helped them gain only 1 position in the standings. Their next game is against Brest away and I don't think it will be easy...

Brest won their last 2 games. The odds are like 3.05 for them and 2.24 for Monaco.

Monaco put in a fantastic performance in this match after beating PSG, and this was truly remarkable, as only Marseille and Monaco have beaten PSG so far. Despite Monaco being down to ten men in the 80th minute, PSG couldn't equalize, resulting in the loss. Lens now move up to first place in the table, paving the way for them to challenge for the title if they can maintain their consistent form. I hope this will be a positive step for other teams, making Ligue 1 even more competitive and giving other teams a chance to beat PSG, as it's not impossible for PSG to lose again in their next match.

PSG currently have just 71% of the points in Ligue 1, which is incredibly low for being the leader in any of the top leagues. It is not surprising that someone was able to bypass them (albeit temporarily). But there's a simple explanation for these results: thanks to a bad draw, PSG was given a record-breakingly difficult Champions League group, so they focused on the Champions League. And by the way, PSG are doing well there, I think they're picking up more points in the Champions League than initially expected.

The match brought a very unexpected result. I have to praise Monaco, they showed great defense and they were also very good in attack. Every club has the goal of beating PSG, the most successful team in the French league, and Monaco achieved that goal. But they should not be satisfied with just beating PSG, but should be consistent in their goal of winning the title. If they continue the performance they showed against PSG, Monaco can rise even higher and fight for the title. Winning against PSG after three consecutive defeats was really unexpected.

Paris Saint-Germain will surely regain that position, it's certainly very easy for them, now they are concentrating more in my opinion on the Champions League which takes away a lot of energy and they know this and they take it into account, then they will unleash themselves in the championship

This is what many people wanted, a competitive league and PSG facing difficulties. I think this is just the beginning, but it is enough to prove that PSG is not perfect; they have limitations too. However, the 1-point difference is quite narrow. It's not a safe gap for Lens. I am sure PSG won't need much time to get back to the top quickly. Maybe PSG can take advantage of this transfer window to add players, because Enrique himself doesn't have many backup player options, and that becomes a problem. Right now, PSG's losses have already matched their record last season when they were champions, and this is only after 14 matches.

You're not really surprised? Well, I'm surprised to see other clubs challenging PSG this season and not making it look like their birthright as usual. PSG has taken this league matches for granted simply because they don't have real rivals and their championship is guaranteed at the end of the season due to low competition from other clubs. Luis Enrique is a gambler, he looks confuse making substitutions that change the game from good to bad. PSG scored five goals against Tottenham but couldn't score even one goal against Monaco that hasn't won for the last three games. I hope Lens maintain this performance so PSG can wake up from their slumber.

I'm impressed with Lens's performance, but to be honest, they do not have what it takes to challenge PSG for the title. I'm sure they won't last long, and PSG will reclaim the top spot very soon. But if by any chance, they can miraculously steal the title from PSG, I would so much like it because PSG has been winning it for almost every season, and I would like to see a change to that.
