Not only did this team set records, another thing we noticed was that the manager of this team, Luis Enrique, also set records, actually he has won three UCL titles as a manager and he has won two UEFA Champions League titles with PSG.

Today PSG made history, they are now the first French team to win the Champions League twice in a row, this is one result I believe some persons did not expect PSG to achieve at this time and all thanks to Enrique, he has been exceptional and this happens to be his third champion league he has won. I can only imagine  the joy the team will have now and they will be celebrating.  They deserved it actually.  A big Congratulations to them.

With the current state of Ligue 1 football, there isn’t any other team in the Ligue one that could have done it. PSG has being about the Champions league for a while now and have found a way to do it in style for 2 seasons. Hope they could rest now or perhaps, they would be out to do it in the same way like Real Madrid, winning it 3 times in a row since, they still remain one of the favorites that can do it in all of Europe.
Too bad Mbappe left PSG for this particular trophy and right now, it’s all coming home to Paris and he isn’t there to celebrate it with them.

PSG really achieved a victory that no one has ever done in Ligue 1, but that doesn’t mean other teams in Ligue 1 can’t do it in the future. Marseille were the first to win the Champions League trophy, and now PSG won it last season and also this season, so it is a great achievement for them. As for Mbappe, it is obvious that he wants the Champions League trophy, and now, since he went to Real Madrid, he has not been able to win any trophy yet.

Paris Saint-Germain is not a small Club in the French League that is why there win trophy outside their league, I challenge any team in French league that can stop Paris Saint-Germain, i doubt there is no any team that can do that in that league. Paris Saint-Germain are very rich and that is why they are able to compete outside their territory, it is an honor to see them winning this champions league twice in two consecutive terms, therefore his performance was excellent but Arsenal is really an obstacle for them if no for that penalty I don't think they can be able to go anywhere but unfortunately they were so lucky to win.

I am not sure because this season, I see Lens as a team that is willing to compete against PSG, they finished second ahead of all other teams that are supposed to be competing with PSG, therefore, I will expect the Lens management to make some signings to strengthen their squad squad ahead of next season, and if they keep achieving such positions, the team will be well recognized and will have some money to also sign quality players that will help the team to compete with PSG.

Once Louise Enrique leaves PSG, and some players also leave the team, I will not expect them to perform at the higher level anymore, so keeping the league 1 dominance for the next ten years will be difficult for them.

You mean PSG will dominate the French League for one decade? I think that's a long period because things could change at any time. I don't think that there is any club in recent times that has won the league ten times consecutively. For now, the European champions have no competitors in the French league but this could change.  If a wealthy investor takes over one of these French clubs they could use their resources and rebuild the club to compete with PSG.

A disciplined team could also come up even without enough financial backup and dethrone PSG. It happened in the English Premier League in the 2015–16 season when Leicester under Claudio Ranieri won the EPL. They achieved it without spending like other big clubs.

Arsenal made the game so boring probably because they were avoiding what happened to inter Milan last season during their champions League final clash with PSG when they received many goals. Mikel Arteta knew this and decided to play smart thereby resorting to playing entire 90 minutes in defense. For me that was the first major error made by Arsenal against an attacking team like PSG. PSG is a great club and in the local league, I don't think there's any capable team to stand them next season of which I would even expect Marseille to stand stronger than Lens by next season. PSG has dominated the league one for too long and now they're breaking into the European competition dominance because winning the champions League in a back to back style is not for every team.

One thing I like PSG for is their proactive attitude since they realised that the arrival of Luis Enrique was all they needed to break into the European competition and they have given him contract extension to 2027 and rumours still have it that the club is planning a very long-term contract for the boss to keep off other top clubs from coming after him. With Luis Enrique at PSG, their dominance will still last longer than anyone can imagine.

Honestly, it will be very hard to see any team in the French league challenge PSG. In fact, for the next few seasons, PSG will likely continue dominating Ligue 1. The reason is that they have quality players and can sign almost any player they want because PSG is a rich club.We saw this when they signed Neymar while still having Mbappé and several other top players. These two players alone were earning huge salaries. What makes it even more difficult for other teams to challenge PSG in Ligue 1 is that they do not have the financial resources to sign players who can compete at the same level.

Even this season should have been a great opportunity for other Ligue 1 teams, as PSG were not performing at their best in the league. However, due to the lack of quality players in other teams, none of them were able to take advantage and win the title.Take Lens, for example. Their performances were impressive, and they really tried, but their lack of squad depth prevented them from winning Ligue 1. Toward the end of the season, most of their players were exhausted, and they did not have enough quality options for rotation.

The fact is that Mbappe is just not lucky because he left PSG to Real Madrid in order to win the Champions League. Unknown to him that PSG would win it the next season. He went to Real Madrid and the club declined in performance with some sentiment between the players just because of pride.

Only Mbappe cannot do all the work on the field. Football is a team work and Mbappe is playing his role perfectly on the pitch. Real Madrid has a weak midfield and you cannot win UCL when one part of the team is weak. All angles must be very strong in carrying out their duties effectively to achieve success.

He will do whatever he can try to do at Real Madrid but he is not going to do fine. Some people are reporting what was said by Paris Saint-Germain officials that letting Mbappe moves out of the team will not make it worse and expanded that to the fact that PSG won two titles so it is Mbappe the source of weakness of the team which is absolutely not accurate at all.
Mbappe is a scorer, he is not a goalkeeper, he is not a defender nor a midfielder. PSG after seeing him left earned more money from his salary, brought new players and consolidated the team and made it more stable and not counting only on Mbappe to bring them goals regardless of their performance. Since every player understands what should be done to the team then the teamwork improved and the results just followed.

Good to hear that the police were in action about that. This is happening very often in France I assume. I have seen this kind of riots so many times. Most of them are against the government of course.

No matter the goal is, they just can't harm other citizens' properties. There should be a convincing kind of punishment for that not only there but also in the whole world. This is nothing less than vandalism.

The coach certainly has an influence on the team, but if a player has an inflated ego and is difficult for the coach to manage, the team will not develop as expected. I even remember when a player like Mbappé moved to Real Madrid to lift the Champions League trophy, but the trophy was won by his former team, PSG, last season and again this season, resulting in PSG's back-to-back Champions League success. So, Mourinho needs to assess whether Real Madrid has any players with inflated egos, because when it comes to coaching, Mourinho is undoubtedly the most respected football fan.

This year, PSG performance wasn't top especially in the beginning of the season, yet they managed to impress everyone. Even in the Ligue 1 they messed up few easy matches.

PSG is now at such a height in the Ligue 1 that no one can even touch them. The power of hot money in their pockets and the cleverness of coach Luis Enrique, together are making a huge difference between them and the rest of the teams. If the rest of the clubs in France want to reduce this gap even a little they will either need to make huge investment or very smart recruitment.

Stupid "consistent patterns" like 99.9% of those killed in plane crashes ate cucumbers. Incidentally, this is easily refuted, as PSG had previously reached the Champions League final and semi-finals under Mbappé. However, after Messi joined the team, PSG were destroyed twice in a row in the last 16... after Messi left, PSG finally triumphed. Based on the facts alone, it appears that Messi was the main factor in PSG's failure, and once they got rid of him, things started to improve

Mourinho does have that philosophy of not wanting to loose as much as possible, and Madrid as a team are just so used to winning  that they are finding it really difficult this period  that they are been hit this hard that they gone trophyless for a season or two. Everyone now banking on mourrinho to break the recently noticed pattern in the team and  we can only hope and anticipate  he does it differently with them.

For now he really does looks like the best fit for the job so let us see what he will deliver by the end of the new season.

Is it really surprising though? At this point it's clear that Mbappé brings a bad energy to the team, probably he knows he is the best player in the world and he wants to be treated in a special way, and this creates a problem in the dressing room. Even with France it happened the same thing: since 2018 France always had the best team in the world and they only won one World Cup when Mbappé was 19-20 years old, so he had to respect the other players because he was very young. After he grew and changed his behavior France stopped winning despite the fact he never stopped scoring. Same story we saw at PSG and Real Madrid.
