While I am sure that they are going to get some good players again, whenever they need to, I also agree that they are not looking for anyone special right now. I have seen news that PSG was looking to get Arda Guler from Real Madrid, and willing to pay a top price for him, like 80 million or so, which could make Real Madrid be convinced, but I doubt that it will happen.

Because they do have a great midfield already ,so why would they end up getting someone like that for that price? I mean most likely the kid would be a bench player for them, and yes because they play a lot of games, he will get a lot of playing minutes there is no denying that, but I highly doubt that they are going to start him at the most important games.

Safonov signing didn't give PSG the league the entire players they won the champions League against Inter Milan was same players that won last season's champions League against Arsenal the combination of the players and their understanding made everything look easy for them and give the keepers confidence very strong. If Donnarumma was still with PSG they would still win the league because the team is just complete in all round even when they decide to attack more than defense.

What happened to Chevalier by the way? They signed him for €40m and he was giving a good hope. But after a point he just started to be a backup for Safonov instead...

Safonov's successful performance left him on the bench. Furthermore, Chevalier failed to capitalize on some opportunities. Therefore, despite high hopes for him, Paris Saint-Germain didn't see the results they expected. In my opinion, Safonov has gained incredible experience now because he reached the Champions League final and protected Paris Saint-Germain's goal at every stage. I believe he will continue to play an important role in goal next year and fulfill his responsibilities.

The only reason they want Guler is for good regeneration in the club, many teams learn from the Italian national team whose regeneration is not good, they failed to play in the world cup 2 times in a row. There is a slight misinformation you have, based on the latest reports that Paris Saint-Germain is willing to offer €120,000,000 for the Turkish midfielder & not €80,000,000. This rumor came yesterday, so we can't expect anything before the world cup is actually over.

Despite not winning the league, I would still say they had a fantastic season.

I just hope they can repeat what they achieved this season next year. Even if they are unable to win the league, they should remain a team that consistently puts pressure on PSG. It will be very difficult for any team to win Ligue 1 in the long term because most clubs are not willing to spend enough money to build stronger squads. Without signing top quality players, I do not think there will be a miracle that allows another team to win Ligue 1 anytime soon, except PSG.

Don't put your hope that a different club will club from behind to win Ligue 1 and end PSG reign in this their current form that Dembele has already said, they will win the Champions League the third time next season. Lens only had the opportunity to overtake PSG but they couldn't maintain their lead for long because they don't have the quality and strength.

Troyes and Le Mans are the new arrivals in the Ligue 1 this season. Saint-Etienne also tried their luck you know but failed against Nice in play-out games... I can't say I'm very curious about the newcomers.

Probably both of them will try not to relegate in their first year.    I'm familiar with Troyes but I don't remember the last time Le Mans competed in this league.

No team wants to be relegated bros @Velvet7, just like you, I'm also familiar with Estac Troyes, but not completely unaware of Le Mans, I clearly remember that they were still competing in Ligue 1 when I was in elementary school. Some of the good players I remember playing there were Anthony Le Tallec, Gervinho & Drogba.

Lens tried by being a title contender against PSG but they didn't put more energy to win the title. You should not praise Lens too much because if not that PSG has a better squad, Lens would have been the Champions if they had showed resilience when they started losing form but instead they became tired and PSG capitalized on their weaknesses. If Lens were consistent, PSG would have gotten tired because they were engaged in other competitions which is the UEFA Champions League.

Lens doesn't seem like a team that can continue in same pace next season. I see Lens like a team that will even struggle next season because they will have a very busy season since they will play at the Champions League which will make them to divide their attention and strength and they don't even have a squad depth to be rotating and replacing injured and exhausted players. For any team to outshine PSG in the French title, it will require them to spend heavy resources in building their team if not PSG might become like Bayern Munich who have been dominant in the Bundesliga.

If Lens can take inspiration from last season's struggles and strengthen their team in the coming season and fight to win Ligue 1, then perhaps we can see the end of PSG's dominance. To win the league, you don't need to win against PSG, but consistency against other teams will be enough, for this you need depth rather than strength. That is, you need to have the ability to perform consistently with the strength you have. But in Ligue 1, we don't see any team that starts the season with the aim of winning the title. They realized that other teams would sink on their own, so PSG only had to maintain a small points difference, something like 3 or 5 points behind Lens, while focusing on the Champions League games without having important players injured long-term.

When the difficult phase of the Champions League arrived and Lens lost points, PSG postponed Ligue 1 games, thus disrupting the rhythm of many teams in the league. When their focus returned to the Champions League, they won games and became champions. I believe PSG will use the same strategy as last season.

ligue one is a very strange championship, there are teams that are relegated who could easily participate in the champions league and teams that aren't anything close to finishing second behind the team that won the champions league, it's a championship all on its own with its own rules but it's nice for this reason.

They now have this synergy among them that can be seen as a good chemistry,  this if maintained long enough,  it will help their form improve drastically and they will be able to surprise us even more with the rate at which they grow and are able  to compete at certain levels,  my expectations for them is to see that progression in growth at an exponential rate next season,  not basically aiming at titles but improving their strength such that their attempt at a title will be a solid shot.

It is true that Paris Saint German has a great midfield though if you take a good look at the club then you will notice that indeed they could do with minor additional midfielders to help strengthen the squad during the season

Notably in times when the team is up against tough opponents just like in the champions league finals where Luis Enrique had to substitute most of the key players even in midfield, which means Arder Guler could be very decisive for Paris Saint German.

making a competitive team is important, having players who can do great things gives an incredible sense of security, and this is necessary to create a team of excellent value, in this case i think they will have no problems making a very strong team, but this is what they will do, they will strengthen the team further.

When Len was topping French Ligue 1 table at the beginning of this season I had the same hope as you that they would stop PSG dominance this season. But even with PSG not performing very well this season in French Ligue 1, Lens couldn't win the title because they don't have good squad depth because at some point their performance dropped and they started losing matches often which made PSG to flip them in French Ligue 1 table. This season was the best season for any team in French Ligue 1 to stop PSG reign but since no team was able to do, it's not possible next season.

Paris Saint-Germain also knew that they couldn't beat Arsenal and couldn't even have the strength needed to close the game straight away and in fact they worked very intelligently on tactics, leading the team to exhaustion and then to penalties where they were much more lucid and won easily, this was the technique.
