It is not wrong to expect a team to perform consistently for the next seasons but as we know it is difficult to expect these teams to perform consistently in League 1 except PSG, every team will make changes and there will always be changes every season if Lens can maintain its performance like this season and is still able to compete in the top 3 then Lens shows competitiveness for PSG meaning Lens really has a great determination to beat PSG but we will see what next season is like don't expect too much if you are not ready to be disappointed.

And most Ligue 1 teams often impress for one season, only to experience a decline the following season. This has often happened to teams like Monaco, Marseille, and most recently Lens. I don't have much hope for Lens to compete with PSG again, especially since they have a busy schedule next season after qualifying for the Champions League. Of course, with increased competition and an uneven squad like PSG they'll easily lose points leading to inconsistency.

In the Premiere League, which team would you compare Paris Saint-Germain to? i see it as a Manchester City, in La Liga i see it as a Villareal or Atletico Bilbao.
In the Champions League they hit hard, in Ligue 1 they are undisputed champions, they have no teams capable of competing, a bit like Bayer Monaco in the Bundesliga, last season was really very boring.

In the Premier League, I would also compare them to City, in La Liga I would compare them to Barcelona or Real Madrid, because it is the team that dominates all leagues and if you look at La Liga the dominant teams are Barcelona or Real Madrid, well that's my way of seeing it and I think that they are even above them because if they were to play against the Barcelona or Real Madrid of this past season or the previous one, I think PSG is superior.

The point at which PSG is now, in the premier league,  their best compared team would be Arsenal,  Manchester City is no longer in that their beast form we do use to know them with some long time before now, Arsenal is the team expressing that dominance even as they have been unable to monopolies it, but they above most of the English teams are as formidable as PSG does stands in the Ligue 1.

Not really. I see it differently. It is about identifying players who can understand their different roles and at the same time do their jobs effectively.
The Spanish national team is an example of what I'm talking about. They don't believe in three to four star players. Just players who are technically sound, has good attitude and ready to play according to instructions. Having three to four stars is not even what you think about when we also classify the 1992 set of Manchester United players under Alex Ferguson.

the right coach is always needed to have an excellent championship, i believe that he could really make the difference in a small team, clearly in a big team it is more difficult to have the weight to change a team, however i currently consider Paris Saint-Germain one of the best teams there are.

He is an attention getting manager in the very first years of his manager career! His achievements with Flamengo were really impressive.

This is his first time in Europe in his job. If he is a manager who likes to work with young and talented names then he can do quite well at Monaco I think.

I don't really know how that league works, like you will see a particular team gapping Paris Saint Germain with some convincing points, but before you knew it they will start going down, if it's a plan thing I don't know, if by chance any team won the league then you should be rest assured that in the next 5+ year no team will ever lay hands on that trophy, and that has really made the league look less interesting, like I don't really take that league serious because of that, and the worst part of it is no team is willing to stand up against that.

I mean, I'm just invested in Monaco and whatever business they're to do in the transfer market. I honestly want to see them win the League one tittle. Last they did they still had Kylian Mbappe and Bernardo Silva over there.

I don't know the reason for his fall out with the Flamengo president but that pushed him for bigger and better ambitions in European football. Let's see what he achieves with them.  I will not hate watch PSG next season but my support goes for a different club who can see them challenged.

This is exactly why the other Ligue 1 teams always struggle to compete with PSG. It feels like they don't really care about winning the title and are more interested in making a profit. Greenwood is a quality player with real talent, someone you can truly rely on. Marseille should be making smarter decisions to build a stronger squad if they genuinely want to compete at the highest level.

But at the end of the day, a farmers' league is still a farmers' league. Most of the other clubs are more focused on making money from player sales than seriously challenging for the title.

In the last 16 years PSG has won this title 12 times, while Lille has won it 2 times and Montpellier and Monaco have won it 1 time each. In the last 5 years, there has been no challenge for PSG; they have been winning consistently.

In 2026, Lens did a good job; they tried to catch them but failed because they do not have enough consistency and sources like PSG. In European soccer, Ligue 1 is tagged as a farming league because there is no team to challenge PSG due to their sources and owners. Clubs need enough funds, which give them quality players for having better results and consistent performance, but here things are not working like this. Management completely fails to attract new owners just because of this. No one is expecting any change in the next few years.

PSG will have a lot of hard time if they keep selling their bench players, they need to get some players to replace those and keep the team with some fresh legs, otherwise it makes no sense. I understand it may not be ideal to have these type of things, but it would be very good for them.

I think the best case right now for them would be just letting it be so they do not get cramped with a lot of players, and just get some future potential young kids that are under 25 years old.

Luis Enrique is an extraordinary manager. Along with Pep Guardiola, he's one of my two favorite managers lately. Winning the Champions League two years in a row and leading Paris Saint-Germain to spectacular successes has earned him even more recognition as a manager. They won the championship by eliminating many strong European opponents. This year, they dominated both matches against a very strong opponent like Bayern Munich, reaching the final with one win and one draw. They didn't lose to Bayern Munich. In the final, they played superiorly against Arsenal and, despite a draw, won on penalties. Therefore, I think he deserves immense praise as a manager.

Without a doubt, they are the coaches who have a lot of empathy with many people. I love them too, even though they coached Barcelona. Another one I love for his work and his empathy is Klopp. In fact, I think Klopp will manage the German national team after their failure in the World Cup. But for now, Luis Enrique is becoming incredibly popular. This generates much more rivalry in all the teams because if he wins another Champions League, wow.

I believe that Paris Saint-Germain, like Lens and the other teams, is already thinking about next season and let's remember that their coach is Luis Enrique, who has proven to be a very intelligent coach who thinks outside the box.
He was right for two years, why shouldn't he be right for the third?

the teams in league one are not always consistent, not everyone is able to replicate all the successes that are had in this championship, but i understand them, there are a series of things to respect, which are necessary, such as the possibility of buying new players, this is something that matters a lot and i think that if they cant this puts the championship at risk.

For me, the secret is having at least two or three world-class stars, and if you have the right coach, he'll help you see things as they are, and you'll succeed in whatever the club sets out to do. But I'd say that with two or three stars, you can create a great team because those stars know and see many things that many others don't. So, in light of this, that's the perfect combination for me. PSG is already a completely established team.

PSG might not be as old as the big teams in the Premier League but with the way they have been consistently performing in their games, it will be difficult for them to be beaten easily by other teams. They as a club have a good management who has been consistently looking for their strength and using it to make more decisions which will favor the team. I believe even if they find themselves in Premier League, they will still work hard to remain at the top as a team. There is always a reward for hardworking clubs and if a club is constantly on the verge of working hard for their success, they will mostly come out victorious.

Some places (like capology) shows PSG as the 5th team with highest salaries. City, Bayern, Real, Arsenal all have higher salaries total than PSG. I can't be sure of this, I do not have the official numbers, this is what some websites show, and not my claim. But if that is the case, we can safely say that, money is not the only reason why PSG wins. They have done treble last year, and won double this year, and yet they spent less than many teams.

So we can assume that while money matters, PSG is also great at utilizing that money successfully. This wasn't the case all the time, we have seen them do bad before, so it is not like we have seen them win every year, we have seen them fail at UCL many years in a row until they achieved back to back.

Money is of course very important when it comes to running a team. But if that was the only thing that matters, Al Nassr would have been the biggest team in the world.

Now I know that sounds like a silly example, but what I am trying to say is that, while it is important to have money and you can't achieve anything without money, it is important to realize you are not going to achieve something just because you are paying a lot neither. I personally think that Ligue 1 will always be dominated by PSG because they are the wealthiest team. And the team’s valuation is vastly different from that of other teams (Source). This makes it very easy for Paris Saint-Germain to build a high-quality squad. And that’s why PSG seems to consistently dominate Ligue 1 season after season. As for the other teams that are below PSG’s level they’ve only managed to stay in the top 10 in recent seasons. As for Lens they might be able to stay in the top 10 of Ligue 1 for a bit longer next season. But I also feel that the road ahead will be tough for them due to their packed schedule or even because of their limited ability to sign enough high-quality players to use as rotation options. They might be able to overcome this if they get a break.

It's true, but if you look at it, there's always a team behind PSG, and that's the one that makes the difference in competitions like the UCL, or any other, because they come from playing against the toughest team in Europe or the one that plays the best, so that makes them raise their level, that's why French teams always put up a fight in the UCL or any competition they go to.

There are times when teams do their best, but finding a team that can truly maintain its performance for the next season is very difficult in League 1, even the Lens we see this season may not necessarily be the same next season, even though we hope there are other teams that can surpass PSG, they need to perform consistently for at least a few seasons first to be able to beat PSG. 1 season alone is not enough to prove the team is strong because currently PSG is still listed as the strongest team in League 1 with the players they have.

It's obvious that Paris Saint-Germain, the French League, will win again, there are no other teams as good as Paris Saint-Germain, this is something so obvious, so obvious, that even the walls know it.

More than anything, will Paris Saint-Germain be able to win the Champions League again, as its fans promise?
