You're right to an extent, did they win back to back with confidence? Yes, did they struggle to achieve that? Yes my reason is that they didn't play the Champions league unbeaten, the only team that wasn't beaten last season was Arsenal, also the final was very tough for them, tbey really struggled against Arsenal's tough defense but managed to draw and won with a penalty shootout so you saying they didn't struggle to win is not really true but i believe they'll be ready for a tougher challenge this season and working on making sure they maintain the confidence to try win it again.

So, saying they didn't struggle is not accurate in my opinion; Paris Saint-Germain won the cup after a very difficult final.
